16/08/2026: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN IT AGAIN. If I could give zero stars, I would. Despite an incident the previous day with my order, I returned to place another order and express my astonishment, but the reaction of a staff member was disproportionate: an aggressive tone, raised voice, and unprofessional remarks. The individual even spoke in his own language so I couldn't understand. I should point out that I wasn't speaking to him, and what bothers me even more is that I felt this attitude was also related to the fact that he was dealing with a woman. I doubt he would have adopted the same posture with a man, who seemed to have a superior attitude.

27/06/2026: An incompetent, overly familiar, and utterly irresponsible person. We were refused entry upon arrival with our one-year-old baby, without any alternative being offered, on the grounds that we were 15 minutes late for the check-in deadline (6:00 PM, already a particularly restrictive time for a hotel). Yet, we had notified the owner in advance via Booking.com by asking him a question, which he never bothered to answer. We had also asked if a travel cot was available in the room. Again, no response. Ironically, if we arrived a few minutes late, it was precisely because we had to make a detour to borrow a travel cot from acquaintances in Dinard, having not obtained this essential information. The delay for which we were criticized is therefore partly a direct consequence of his lack of communication. Upon our arrival, the owner was indeed present, seated at a table on the terrace with several other customers. He immediately raised his voice, accusing us of having entered through the "wrong door," even though it was the only accessible entrance to the establishment and the one he himself subsequently instructed us to use. He then openly mocked our lateness and our situation, responding sarcastically to our attempts to explain. Throughout the entire exchange, he addressed us informally, despite our repeated requests to maintain a respectful and reciprocal tone. When we pointed out the irresponsibility of refusing accommodation to a family with a one-year-old child, he indicated he was willing to make an exception for our daughter, but not for us. We simply reminded him that this was not an exceptional gesture, but a basic responsibility given his position as a hotelier. This remark clearly irritated him, as he then asked us to leave. When we indicated, from outside the establishment, our intention to report the situation to Booking.com, his attitude changed abruptly. He asked us to calm down before touching our child's leg without our consent, in a completely inappropriate manner. We immediately asked him not to touch our daughter. He then removed his hand and slammed the door of the establishment. Fortunately, a witness to the scene, shocked by the situation, kindly gave us a ride to the city center. We were with our one-year-old daughter, laden with luggage and without any means of transportation. To top it all off, the owner kept our travel cot inside the establishment before later informing us, via photos taken with his phone, that he had moved it outside, in plain sight. Beyond the blatant lack of professionalism, what struck us most was the complete absence of empathy, customer service, and consideration for a family traveling with a very young child. We also want to point out that the manager is acting in blatant bad faith. He claimed, in particular, to have responded to us via Booking.com (false) and even to his other guests that he had never downplayed our situation (again, false). After reviewing the case, Booking.com sided with us, issued a full refund for the night, and informed us that they would be taking further steps with the manager. Our recommendation to travelers is simple: avoid this place. As for the manager, perhaps it's time to seriously examine his approach to hospitality and customer service. Other professions are undoubtedly better suited to his qualities: gravedigger, for example.

27/05/2026: Unbelievable welcome. Arriving on a Sunday, we waited until 3:02 PM to enter the hotel. We were told that 3 PM is later in Brittany. We went back outside to wait for the hotel manager to deign to let us in, only for him to come back and sit near us like a friend, chatting about the weather without even saying hello. Then came the criticism of having booked through Booking.com. He then explained that Sunday was also his special day. In short, after a 15km walk, we gave up hope of getting our keys, faced with the host's nonchalance. The overly familiar manner (addressing us by our first name) and a reminder to prioritize working-class restaurants over welcoming tourists contributed to the discomfort. This discomfort was shared by those accompanying me. The hotel is poorly soundproofed. Breakfast, starting at 9 AM, is incompatible with hikers. We fully agree with the negative comments about the hotel and the manager. We do not recommend this hotel.

13/04/2026: Val Burger was unfortunately not tasty at all because of the strong goat cheese flavor:( I recommend going for the Pizza in this place and not for the burgers or the chicken sandwiches! 2-3 benches outdoor for sitting. In general not the best food out there in Val Thorens, but will save you and do the job when you need that late fast food grab. *pics are from January 2026*

19/09/2026: What everyone wants to know: The pizza is okay. Not the best, not the worst. It's clean. But one thing has to be said clearly: even if you speak French, you're treated like dirt. We dared to order a large bottle of Coke after our initial order and were immediately reprimanded for not ordering it right away. I don't expect a pizza maker to be a great customer service expert. However, I do expect a minimum level of mutual respect, and in my opinion, this was completely lacking. Just as he justified himself in other reviews by saying that you have to speak the language of the country you're visiting, he'll probably do the same here. However, I have to correct him and say that my wife speaks French—not particularly loudly, not particularly quietly, perhaps not perfectly—but she makes herself understood, as is typical with school French. That doesn't give the pizza maker the right to snap at other customers, though.

18/07/2026: €26 for two mini pizzas, the most rip-off pizzas in France. And in terms of taste, even mediocre Marseille pizza is better than these… The crust is practically nonexistent, it's so thin. We ordered cream bases and they weren't even cream. The day a good pizzeria opens up on the corner, it's going to hurt. Getting ripped off like that!… Never again. And we don't like to leave bad reviews. But this is really too much.

11/10/2026: I order pizzas all the time. Every time, I remove the olives and peppers from the orders. Every time, they add them. It's driving me crazy. They often forget the extras. Even though their pizzas are very good. Today, I ordered a mega pizza and received a large one without olives, but they added them again. I called, and they told me, "No, you didn't remove them from the receipt." I checked the receipt after hanging up, and wouldn't you know it, the olives were indeed removed. Do your job properly, thank you!!

10/09/2026: I ordered a Margherita pizza, which is the basic version with tomato, mozzarella, and basil. Instead, I received a pizza completely covered in black olives—not just a few, but a flood of them! I find this strange; the original recipe has been completely ruined. I'm very disappointed! And after thinking about it, apparently this is how they do it, so okay, but last time.

16/08/2026: As a critic, I pay particular attention to the relationship between price, product, and portion size. Here, for €34, I expected a proper family-sized pizza, generous and designed for four people. However, despite the large box, the diameter remains comparable to that of a standard large pizza. The substitution of mozzarella with goat cheese, requested due to an allergy, was also charged to me, bringing the total to €42. At this price, the problem isn't just the quality of the product, but above all the quantity/price ratio, which is inconsistent with the "family-sized" label. There were four of us, and the portion size proved insufficient, even for my youngest daughter. As a critic, I believe that at €42, the customer should receive a significantly more generous and consistent offering. This experience clearly needs to be rethought in terms of pricing and portion sizes.

16/08/2026: We ordered pizzas and flammekueche twice... A disaster... The simplest pizza, at €10, was nothing but dough and a spoonful of tomato sauce, costing 50 cents. And the flammekueche was ridiculous... No mushrooms, just 12 slices of onion and three spoonfuls of cream or something similar. See the photos. Sorry, but this is just too much.

28/08/2026: Hello, I've been a customer for several months and have never been disappointed, but today was a disaster. I ordered two pizzas (ham and dauphinoise), and the dough wasn't cooked. We realized this as soon as we got home and called the kiosk. A very pleasant woman put me through to a very unpleasant man, and I mean it. Aside from saying "yes, yes," and completely ignoring what we said, he didn't say a word, didn't want to hear anything. This person is in no way customer-oriented. To be able to eat the two pizzas, we had to put them back in the oven. It's a shame because once cooked properly, the pizzas are good. But this uncooked dough and unpleasant man ruined everything.
