27/08/2026: I don't often leave negative reviews, but this is a "money-grabbing" place. On the website, for arrivals before 11am, the "moussaillons" meal is listed at €10.50 instead of €15.90, but upon arrival, we were told that we had to pay an additional €8 for unlimited entry on top of the €10.50 included in the menu. So, we were being charged for two entries that were supposed to be unlimited, which means possibly all day. Upon informing the receptionist, we were redirected to the manager, which is normal, but there was no real explanation other than it being a private company and needing to make a living, which I understand. However, unlimited access clearly means without a time limit... and no compensation was offered. On the other hand, as I was leaving, they made sure I had paid for my drinks. I had planned to take the package, have a meal, and then an afternoon snack, but for that reason alone, we left after our meal and didn't order anything else. Your packages are clearly designed to encourage overconsumption to increase your average bill; your management clearly needs to be reviewed, I think. Furthermore, the restaurant offers local products, but I ordered penne, which was listed as "complete and local" on the menu board, and I received plain white pasta. As for the "fresh" fries, they were clearly frozen, and the burger bun in the children's menu was hard; I doubt it was fresh that morning. My daughter ended up eating nothing but... The steak, but it must be a question of money; like everything else, we sell local products, but then we serve something else to the customers.

24/08/2026: Great for kids! The menu needs improvement; it's not very good and expensive for what you get. It was empty when we went, which I think is a shame since it opened.

07/08/2026: Very, very, very bad. The owner was tired of running back and forth, and his wife refused to give out chili packets (she preferred to wash her sticky bottle). The table wasn't cleaned; the pizza tasted like nothing but tomato mush. So I complained about all of this, but they didn't care because they were selling. Let's hope the new owners are much better (it won't be hard).

26/04/2026: Ordered last night for the fourth time, and what a disappointment! I received pizzas, one had absolutely no tomato sauce flavor, it was so drowning in cheese. The other two had 5 to 10 tiny pieces of ham, each about 1 cm by 1 cm. There were no herbs like oregano that are usually on pizzas. The same goes for the olives; usually there are 4 per pizza, but one had 3 and the other 2. I don't know if you've changed pizza chefs. But it's not great, or maybe you should keep an eye on them. Honestly, I felt like I was eating pizza dough crammed with cheese. Very disappointed. I don't think I'll be ordering again. But best of luck to you.

31/08/2026: I was very surprised by the mixed, even negative, reviews. We arrived in Cassis with a bit of a late-night craving: one of us wanted something completely sweet, the other a mix of savory and sweet. Huit et Demi did the trick perfectly: sweet and savory crepes with ice cream were just what we needed. Okay, some restaurants could certainly improve the presentation of their savory crepes. But we dealt with three different people (from ordering to payment at the register), three incredibly friendly and welcoming young men, even though we were just tourists passing through. And I observed the same kindness and simplicity with a couple after us who were hesitating between takeout and dining in. And yes, the bill was also reasonable compared to the restaurant next door where a Greek salad cost 25 euros. In short, a great place for a snack or lunch break at any time, with no unpleasant surprises and a warm welcome. Thank you to them.

29/08/2026: A lovely time at 8 et demi. Beautiful terrace with a direct view of the port of Cassis, a pleasant and sunny setting at the end of the day. The burrata was fresh and generous, and the warm goat cheese toast salad was nicely presented. However, the pizza was rather disappointing, and the fries were clearly from a store; homemade fries would have been a real plus. Friendly service, ideal setting for dining overlooking the boats.

04/07/2026: I am alone, without a license, I order a pizza for delivery, they don't deliver for one pizza, it's pathetic, I'm not going to order 2 pizzas just to please them, when they did it 2 months ago, I do not recommend at all.

01/07/2026: The pizza dough was undoubtedly frozen and of very poor quality. The pizza itself was frankly disgusting, with a topping that was more than just low-grade. Avoid at all costs! Don't go there if you value your money.

09/07/2026: I'll never set foot in that place again. It's by far one of the worst experiences I've had at a pizzeria in Douai. Today, Thursday, I first asked an employee if the offer prominently displayed on the front ("buy one pizza, get two free") was still valid. She clearly replied: yes. I then ordered a small pizza for €12.70. The server took my order and told me there would be a 15-minute wait. I came back 15 minutes later and learned that he had simply forgotten to send the order to the kitchen. My pizza hadn't even started to be prepared. Not a single apology. I waited for another 20 minutes. In the end, nearly 40 minutes of waiting for just one small pizza. When I finally received my order, I asked where the two other pizzas promised by the promotion were. I was told I should have specified it when ordering. Are you kidding me?? It's completely absurd since I specifically asked before ordering if the offer was still valid, and I was told it was. As a result, I paid €12.70 for a tiny pizza that's absolutely not worth that price, I waited almost 40 minutes because of a staff mistake, and the advertised offer wasn't even applied. Unfortunately, this isn't the first bad experience. On a previous visit, I simply asked if it was possible to buy a large empty pizza box. I needed to find one for my child's birthday contest. They quoted me… €10 for a simple cardboard box. I felt like they were just trying to take advantage of me because of my accent. Between promotions that aren't applied, order errors, interminable delays, exorbitant prices, and appalling customer service, this pizzeria gives a very bad impression of the business. The value for money is catastrophic. The size of the pizza in no way justifies its price, and the service is simply unacceptable. I strongly advise against this establishment. Fortunately, there are many better pizzerias in Douai where customers are treated with far more respect.

27/08/2026: We stopped by chance on our way back from vacation, quite late at 1:45 pm, and were very warmly welcomed. Impeccable service and good pizzas. The only downside was the conversation between the two people involved, which could be heard from the dining room and made us feel uncomfortable.

05/06/2026: I placed an order on the website at 9:15 PM, and they gave me a slot at 9:42 PM for three pizzas in five minutes. Then they called me back to say they couldn't make the order. They gave me no explanation, which I find unacceptable. It's incompetent staff to make three pizzas when their competitor in the same city makes them in 15 minutes…
