Top-notch ingredients 👌 Buffalo mozzarella, ham, vegetables, etc. – all of the finest quality, and the preparation was simply perfect. It was served with chili oil in two strengths. I never would have guessed that I'd be eating the best pizza of my life in Mimizan, of all places, in France. 🌊🌞🍕🍷 Wishing the owners continued success and enjoyment.

18/08/2026: Beautiful nature reserve! You shouldn't be afraid of heights... I even cycled the Gorges once from Le Gard. Tough (steep slopes) but majestic. In the high season, however, it gets very crowded with tourists who view it more as an amusement park than a nature reserve. A little further south lies the Gard Cévennes, much quieter!!

13/08/2026: A magnificent place, with incredible natural surroundings. Unfortunately, the first thing you'll hear every morning, from 8:00 AM until 7:30 PM, is the ultralight aircraft and small planes flying over the Pont d'Arc. Their truly unpleasant drone clearly spoils the experience and completely detracts from this exceptional location. How can a handful of people be allowed to ruin the enjoyment of thousands of tourists and locals? I sincerely believe that the town of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and the nature reserve should clearly prohibit this type of activity over this site. Attached is a short excerpt of what you can hear.

PS: Special mention for the truffle pizza; having tried several, this one has made it into my top three!

We've been getting our pizzas exclusively from Al Fornello for two years now, and we've introduced it to all our friends and family, and everyone loves it. Always on time, always excellent quality, and the pizzas are always served piping hot. Thank you for existing! 😍

31/07/2026: The waitresses were nice but just completely overwhelmed. For this kind of crowd you need four, not two.The food was decent enough,pretty good actually. Starter was a bit on the small side but tastewise left nothing to complain. Main courses were all good, the kids dinner can be improved though by adding veggies and frying the chicken a bit crispier. Main issue however was the lack of service during the dinner.

19/08/2026: Hello everyone, we visited this establishment for the second time on February 7, 2026 (with a reservation). We were once again warmly welcomed. The owner is incredibly kind, with a charming accent and helpful recommendations. The decor is tasteful, the dishes were served promptly (I highly recommend the chef's spring rolls – see the photo!), and the service was impeccable. Our waitress was exceptionally kind and deserved her generous tip. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.

29/08/2026: Fantastic welcome! We were heading off on holiday and looking for a quick bite to eat. They said yes, no problem, and we were served within 10 minutes. The pizzas were excellent, with something for everyone (meat, vegetarian, halal, fish). A great find! We'll be back often =)
