23/07/2026: It wasn't my first time there, but unfortunately, my second experience wasn't great. The waiter was rather grumpy throughout the evening. The mussels were incredibly salty, as if we'd swallowed seawater. Unfortunately, the drinks menu wasn't comprehensive. They didn't list any Spritz, yet the table next to us had one. A shame. Otherwise, the rest of the food was good, and the rest of the staff was too. In any case, it's a nice place to eat near the port of St. Cyprien.

22/07/2026: Huge congratulations to the entire Chalut team! 👏 A massive thank you for the wonderful time we spent at your restaurant in Saint-Cyprien. The value for money is simply unbeatable, and the food is excellent! Special mention to the owner, who is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to his customers. We felt right at home, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. This is a place we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will definitely return. Don't change a thing!

28/07/2026: The charcuterie board was far too expensive for the quality. The photos showed it as including charcuterie and cheese, but it was just four slices of sausage and chorizo ​​that barely covered each other. The mojito was undrinkable, and then the main courses we ordered were a complete disappointment: two mussels with Roquefort cheese had very little sauce, two rib-eye steaks were overcooked and very fatty, and the pepper sauce was nothing special. The two burger steaks were completely burnt on the bottom. In short, out of eight dishes, only two met our expectations. The total cost was €230. We cut our meal short and didn't order dessert. Avoid at all costs! Honestly, it's very rare that I leave such harsh reviews, but given that it's in a very pretty location, and being on a busy port during peak season, they shouldn't neglect the quality of their food. Ps: however, it should have raised a red flag for me given that there were few people there.

17/08/2026: Let me rephrase it more clearly and firmly, while still maintaining credibility for a Google review: We ate well there, although I found the prices very high for the portion size. But I'm most disappointed by the lack of professionalism. My shorts were ripped because one of their stools had a sharp edge. I immediately reported the problem, but no one offered any compensation or even contacted their insurance company. My shorts were a fairly expensive brand, and I find it truly regrettable that no solution was offered. I'm a local, not a tourist, and unfortunately, given how the problem was handled, I won't be going back.

15/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at Janine à la Mer. We received a warm welcome at this small restaurant/beach club in a perfect location. The food was excellent; everything was delicious and very good value for money. These days, it's rare to find establishments that don't compromise on either quality or price, despite overall price inflation, and Janine à la Mer is one of them. We've been before and we'll definitely be back.

21/07/2026: It had been over four years since my last visit to this establishment, and it's still perfect. I have absolutely no complaints; the value for money is excellent, and the staff is welcoming. I highly recommend it.

20/07/2026: A fantastic discovery! Without a doubt, one of the best ice creams I've ever had. The raspberry ice cream is simply incredible: an intense flavor, a smooth texture, and a true fruit aroma. You can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients and the artisanal expertise. The cones are perfectly crisp, the waffles are delicious, and everything is utterly indulgent. Admittedly, it's a bit more expensive than some other ice cream shops, but the quality more than justifies the price. It's better to pay a little extra for ice cream this good! If you're looking for an excellent ice cream shop, go for it without hesitation. I recommend this place 100%, and I'll definitely be back! 🍦✨

11/06/2026: French fries. How is it possible that after all these years McDonald's fries are still being reheated and served? If I order and pay for fries, I don't want soggy, indigestible fries that were cooked ages ago and then reheated. Given how high the prices already are, please serve us real fries cooked fresh.

12/07/2026: The food was very tasty but the waitress was quite rude, speaking badly to the customers and responding rudely.

05/04/2026: One star, but really zero! Refused service on Easter Sunday!!!! Staff who simply don't want to work. We arrived as a group of 7 and the waitress told us they stopped serving at 5 pm, even though it's peak season. So she'll sell her crepes when we get to August. A word of advice: if you want to eat a crepe, find a creperie that actually makes crepes. P.S.: On the day smiles are for sale, the waitress can buy a wheelbarrow full of them.

14/05/2026: 👌Impeccable, clean, and well-run. My friend Farid, who has a disability 👨‍🦽, had no trouble getting settled or moving around. The food offered and served was impeccable 😋. They were showing live football on a screen ⚽, which enhanced our experience 👍. We'll be back. The only downside is the parking, otherwise I highly recommend it 💪👍

02/08/2026: Extremely disappointed with this restaurant. We went for some tapas, but the price was very high for very little food. The service was mediocre. We had to ask three times for a carafe of water.

01/08/2026: A fantastic find! We stopped for lunch after being stuck in traffic for two hours. We were seated around 2 pm, and the waitress was very friendly and smiling. The food was delicious. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

14/08/2026: They wouldn't accept a table for 7 people. Only for 6. We offered a table for 4 and another for 3, and they refused. Unacceptable. No concern for the person in a wheelchair, claiming it would be too many customers for the kitchen. There's nothing written anywhere about the number of people per table. They didn't accept a table for 7 people. We suggested dividing our tables into 4 and 3, but the waitress refused. She told us we couldn't eat there. They didn't want to accept us. And it wasn't full. There was a free table.

15/04/2026: A very unpleasant experience with this person. As an Uber Eats delivery driver, I was greeted disrespectfully and aggressively, for no apparent reason. A minimum of politeness and respect would be appreciated, especially towards people who are working to provide a service. This type of behavior is unacceptable and gives a very bad impression. Avoid them.

15/04/2026: Following your response, I would like to clarify that I was never aggressive. I remained calm and professional from beginning to end. However, I was met with an accusatory and disrespectful attitude from you, even going so far as to call me a thief without any basis. I understand that there may be abuses with some delivery drivers, but this in no way justifies generalizing and disrespecting honest people. The validation issue related to the connection is not within our control, and asking a driver to leave only to then become angry makes no sense. Furthermore, a man you brought in as "security" arrived aggressively, without even being able to communicate properly, which only worsened the situation. This is completely unacceptable. Shifting blame in the comments does not reflect reality. A minimum of respect and professionalism is essential.

20/12/2025: While looking for a local spot away from the tourist traps, I found La Suite, and what a delightful surprise. The colorful, inviting interior felt like stepping into someone’s warm, welcoming home. The lunch menu was fantastic. I had the split pea soup, which was rich and comforting, followed by beautifully seasoned eggplant caviar paired with a great glass of wine recommended by the staff. French, English and a little Spanish is spoken. For dessert, the chocolate coulant cake was absolutely heavenly, warm, decadent, and perfectly gooey in the center. La Suite is exactly the kind of authentic, heartfelt restaurant you hope to find when traveling. I left feeling genuinely nourished and can’t wait to come back someday. If you’re in Perpignan and want a meal that feels like home, this little gem is a must visit.

08/11/2025: An unusual restaurant with Mediterranean flair. Simple and delicious dishes in a warm atmosphere.
