25/08/2023: I knew Café Joseph before the change of ownership and I loved it, here is my experience with the new owners: the welcome is very friendly and relaxed. Unfortunately the typical decoration of the cork with the old menus has disappeared, leaving the yellowish and sad walls of the room bare, even if the exterior is nicely repainted. The food remained very good: the two of us shared a homemade crusted pâté, very fragrant, and I had a veal strawberry andouillette which was tasty. Accompaniments; I had rice and ratatouille instead of the advertised gratin dauphinois, but with the heatwave this change can be understood. I don't think the ratatouille was homemade, but it wasn't bad, I quite enjoyed it. My guest had a gravelax salmon which seemed very good but light in quantity, as well as a dessert: a slice of blueberry pie. I tasted it, it was good, the blueberries were fresh. I think this tart would have deserved to be more rustic, without syrup to make it shine and with more fruit. Finally the wines were quite correct. The bill was quite high however, the prices have really increased, but hey, everything has increased everywhere so can we blame them? In short, a good experience overall, with simple, good food and pleasant service. I give it a 4 star rating for the reasons mentioned above and I will return without problem. I wish the new owners great success!

18/01/2024: Une cuisine minute avec des produits frais que dire de plus!!! Les mets sont excellents. Les papilles se régalent!! C’est un des meilleurs thaï de Lyon.

08/02/2024: Honteux, arnaque… les photos présentées pour ce restaurant sont mensongères. Ce ne sont pas les photos de ce restaurant ni de ce qu’on y mange. C’est très cher pour des produits qui ne sont pas faits sur place. Ce sont des produits en barquette ou réchauffés.

05/08/2024: Smiling and efficient welcome from the ex Anne, who was there during the time of the previous owner. The new one (Fristot) since this month is a seasoned “Cuistot”. Good success to SOUCIEU in Jarrest

02/07/2024: We picked Frazarin because of the reviews but nothing prepared us for just how fabulous the evening would be. The guys who run this have paid much attention to detail. We were welcomed and seated with easy conversation about a shared interest - football! And Max even resembles his favourite footballer! We observed the same careful attention being paid to everyone who arrived after us. After that the menu was described beautifully and the wine choices were thoughtfully recommended. The food was truly exceptional. We loved every course. My only disappointment is that we live so far away. When we return to Lyon this will be our first restaurant booking. It is certainly the best restaurant we have found in a long time. Thank you guys - you were superb!!

14/07/2024: De belles découvertes tant au niveau des bières, et des plats et un excellent service. La Pilsner entre top 3. Nos avons aussi goûté un whisky et un cocktail excellents

26/05/2024: Ils ont assuré du début à la fin Ça à commencé par une réservation pour 42 personnes un samedi soir: pas d’objections On arrive, ils nous installent en 2 tables, les commandes des boissons suivent, puis rapidement celles des plats. On mangent quasiment tous en même temps, y’a pas d’erreurs sur les commandes et en plus de ça, les burgers ainsi que les desserts sont délicieux! Rien à redire! C’est la deuxième année qu’on vient manger là le soir entre les 2 jours de compétition de crossfit et on reviendra l’an prochain!

14/05/2024: Dans ce restaurant nous sommes plongés dans le grand Liban, comme dans un fauteuil : les sièges et le décor est typique du pays du hommos. Jusqu'à la carafe ! Dans l'assiette, c'est plutôt très bon.
