19/07/2026: The service was extremely slow. A simple dinner for over 50 people took two hours; a single waitress was responsible for the entire dining room, and she was working as fast as she could, but she was completely alone. The food was decent, perfectly average.

18/07/2026: The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We were quickly taken care of and served. The portions were generous. However, the meat was overcooked on the sides, giving it a burnt taste. We also had to ask for more sauce. Another point for improvement: the salad is served at the same time as the hot food, which slightly cooks it and makes it less enjoyable. Furthermore, the sauces mix, which isn't ideal. Regarding the children's menu, the portions are very generous. The ice cream is good, but the scoops are a bit small. Overall, it's a nice establishment with pleasant staff. However, there's still room for improvement in certain aspects of food quality and service.

19/06/2026: Another disappointment: my sandwich tonight was tasteless, unseasoned, and smelly. Don't even think about mentioning it, or you'll get a murderous glare from the manager and a bizarre remark: "You chose it!" A scrambled egg mixed with ground meat, wilted lettuce... "it's the same as a whole fried egg!" I go there regularly because it's the only kebab shop. It's a shame, because the kebabs, tacos, and kids' menus are actually quite good (despite the significant size differences between the mini tacos). As for the manager's friendliness, customer service, and smiles, it seems to depend on who you are! 😂😉 Personally, I'm often annoyed by the owner's behavior. Which is hardly the point of a family outing. I don't even dare go there anymore.

07/06/2026: It's always a pleasure to return to this charming inn during a lunch break on a motorcycle ride through the Brionnais region. Delicious food prepared with care. A lovely shaded terrace. A truly exceptional gourmet coffee (so rare these days!). A very friendly owner who is also a chef and pastry chef. It's worth noting that the owner's wife, in addition to providing impeccable service, is an artist. Thank you for this wonderful experience, see you soon!

09/07/2026: I ordered sandwiches and desserts, but they forgot to give me one, although it was included in my bill. I can't go back for it as I was only passing through. Do they have to check the contents now? Disgusted.

05/03/2026: Very good food with original and successful blends of flavors, unfortunately we happened to be there on an evening when the atmosphere was very/too noisy for us!

02/03/2026: We tasted the foie gras and found it sorely lacking in flavor. We then tried the fish with beets: what a surprise to find only a single small cube of fish and a piece of onion! The rest was just beets and a walnut sauce. Again, the taste was nonexistent; this dish was a real disappointment. We also tried the beef tartare with mayonnaise. It was literally minced meat, mayonnaise, a few chopped green onions, and half an egg. It was slightly better, but it absolutely did not justify the price. Regarding the wine, you have to be very careful: the servers don't warn you that the style of wine offered is much more acidic than traditional wines. (I'm not saying the wine was bad or flawed; it's simply the style the winemaker was aiming for, but you should be informed.) The service is practically nonexistent; you have to search for the servers to order anything. Finally, when it came time to pay the bill, we pointed out to the waiter that we were leaving the wine bottle almost full. We tried to explain the lack of information during the service, but his only reaction was to smile and leave without a word.

04/06/2026: If it hadn't smelled so much mold from the bathroom, this would have been an ok overnight stay, albeit too expensive for what you pay for. The food in the restaurant is good. The breakfast was unfortunately very sparse and the staff had no interest in refilling it. 1 out of 5 stars unfortunately

23/12/2025: We came this Friday, December 20th. Big disappointment. The egg salad was identical to the mountain salad. Four croutons were replaced by half a barely toasted loaf of white bread with melted cheese on top. Followed by pike quenelles with Nantua sauce. Except the quenelles were completely dried out (certainly due to being reheated many times) and served with a very thick, pasty Nantua sauce. With a half-bottle of red wine to accompany it, for €7. Well, the quality is no longer there. Too bad, we won't be going back.

16/05/2026: A lovely hotel with charm. The entrance area/lobby is cozy, ideal for relaxing with a drink. The breakfast area and the breakfast itself are good. The rooms are functionally furnished, although the hallway outside is rather dark. Parking is available upon request, just a few minutes away. The reception staff were very friendly.

05/05/2026: Hotel in a quiet city center. The 4-star rating doesn't seem justified to me. Bathroom needs updating, bedding is worn, and breakfast is minimal.

07/05/2026: The owners are very friendly and welcoming, the pizza is delicious and inexpensive, I highly recommend them!

07/06/2026: Good French restaurant. Lovely terrace, welcoming waiters. We had a pleasant lunch. The dishes were delicious, although the portions were a little small.

05/06/2026: The daily menu was very meager. Lots of rice and little salmon. The vegetables consisted of 4 slices of grilled zucchini and 4 sprigs of dill/fennel.

08/05/2026: Rooms are slightly dated but clean and quiet. The highlight is the staff…the woman working there is incredible, she speaks multiple languages and is the friendliest person I have met. The location is perfect for people on road trips as it is easy of the highway and back on. Price is great for what you get and the FOOD was incredible!!!!

06/03/2026: A warm and friendly welcome in a verdant setting, the meals are good, and the various overnight packages are a bonus. The rooms are clean and quiet, the bedding is comfortable, but they could use a fresh coat of paint. In short, we'll be back! 😊

29/06/2026: We had a quiet spot in the shade for lunch. The fish and chips was very good and a very generous portion. The dessert wasn't great, though; I doubt it was homemade. If you're looking for a simple, quick lunch spot under the trees, go for it.
