29/08/2024: Gourmet cuisine with excellent value for money. All the dishes served are perfect, prepared with conscience by chef Denis Carre and served by his wife, owners of the establishment. Small treats as an aperitif followed by a perfect appetizer. Excellent sweet treats after dessert. Here's what should restore the desire to return to restaurants in a period of gastronomic disaster...

14/08/2024: Discovered this nice restaurant on the way back from France to Freiburg. Very nice courtyard with a great wall design, which serves as a stage background on Fridays for great singing and show performances. Real insider tip!!!!

06/08/2024: A particularly nice little restaurant. Louhans is typically the town that we pass through… So we stopped for lunch. A very short menu, which is an indicator with fresh products. A daily menu at €22 that I recommend. An extra smoothly service led by the chef’s wife. Elegantly presented dishes. A careful decoration.

08/09/2024: The welcome was smiling, attentive, very considerate. The room is equipped with efficient air conditioning and offers all the desirable comfort. Perfection. The restaurant demonstrates the same qualities, perfect, friendly welcome. The cuisine is excellent, everything is a real pleasure. Note the strategic position of the establishment for discovering the region. A significant advantage is that the establishment is located on the edge of a huge public car park lined with trees, always available and very very quiet. In short, in a few words: it’s Excellence :-)

26/08/2024: Partis de Lons le Saunier en vélo ce lundi matin, très contents de notre choix de nous arrêter déjeuner à La Poularde... menu Express très bien, produits frais, service impeccable et rapide, jeunes serveurs souriants et attentionnés, nous reviendrons!

21/09/2024: We stayed at the Hotel Konine for one night while traveling through. The room was modern, clean and the bed was of very high quality. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Unfortunately, the window of our car was smashed during the night and all of our luggage, including motorcycle helmets, etc., was stolen. Unfortunately, we didn't get the support we wanted from reception when it came to informing the police and it seemed like this was a normal situation at this hotel. Since we weren't the only car in the hotel parking lot that was broken into that night, we, and other people affected, would have hoped for a little more support, as communication in English/French was rather difficult.

15/09/2024: C'est une excellente adresse à Autun. Cadre sympa (style "bistro chic" et "vintage") Cuisine excellente, c'est beau et c'est bon, on sent qu'il y a une recherche et des efforts du chef cuisinier pour l'esthétique de l'assiette et le mariage des saveurs, un plaisir pour les yeux et pour les papilles. Service rapide et très efficace. Bref, à recommander !

01/09/2024: Nous avions réservé pour le 1 septembre. Nous devions manger une entrée, une tête de veau et un dessert . Entrée et dessert excellents . La tête de veau , pas chaude , elle nageait dans son bouillon , pas de goût . Je ne vous conseille pas ce restaurant, un jour de foire .

28/08/2024: Fresh and quality products. More than reasonable quantity. Great value for money. Good welcome. There is a bit of a wait because it is cooked on time.

26/10/2025: Despite a change of ownership in 2022, the place remains pleasant. The menu is quite limited, which may surprise some, but the dishes we tried were decent.

12/09/2024: What a pleasure! A very pleasant welcome, a quiet room overlooking the small garden, a warm atmosphere. A very good breakfast with very attentive hosts. It is the ideal place for a peaceful break. Thank you to the owners who, UNFORTUNATELY, will leave this haven of peace and quality.

13/08/2024: The pizzas are very good, the fish and chips too and the prices are really fair. The staff is friendly, nothing to complain about.

20/08/2024: A stay too short but perfect. Truly exceptional restaurant level with quality products and generous plates. We really enjoyed ourselves. On the reception side, great hosts, incredibly kind and caring. Beautiful people who take the time with their customers. Lots of lovely touches 😉 thank you to them for the surprises for our 39 years of marriage. The spa and the rooms perfect! Perfect breakfast too. Everything was there and always with fresh, homemade products. We'll definitely come back, if only to say hello and have a drink on the terrace. 19/08/2024: We spent a pleasant night in a very nice room with a large, ultra-comfortable bed. Ideal for taking a break during your vacation journeys. I recommend breakfast in the morning, ideal for getting off to a good start. Thanks to Frederic for his welcome and his kindness
