05/03/2026: Very good food with original and successful blends of flavors, unfortunately we happened to be there on an evening when the atmosphere was very/too noisy for us!

02/03/2026: We tasted the foie gras and found it sorely lacking in flavor. We then tried the fish with beets: what a surprise to find only a single small cube of fish and a piece of onion! The rest was just beets and a walnut sauce. Again, the taste was nonexistent; this dish was a real disappointment. We also tried the beef tartare with mayonnaise. It was literally minced meat, mayonnaise, a few chopped green onions, and half an egg. It was slightly better, but it absolutely did not justify the price. Regarding the wine, you have to be very careful: the servers don't warn you that the style of wine offered is much more acidic than traditional wines. (I'm not saying the wine was bad or flawed; it's simply the style the winemaker was aiming for, but you should be informed.) The service is practically nonexistent; you have to search for the servers to order anything. Finally, when it came time to pay the bill, we pointed out to the waiter that we were leaving the wine bottle almost full. We tried to explain the lack of information during the service, but his only reaction was to smile and leave without a word.

16/03/2026: We went to eat at this restaurant on Monday at lunchtime, the three of us. The manager is friendly and very professional. The chef caters to vegetarians (I was even given a special menu just for me), which I really appreciated. Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. Homemade with fresh ingredients, and it shows. The lemon cake is divine. I highly recommend this restaurant.

08/06/2026: A real stroke of luck for our cycling group!** We stayed at the Hostellerie Bourguignonne with our cycling group and were absolutely thrilled. After a long day on our bikes, we received an incredibly warm welcome. The rooms are stylish, very clean, and offer exactly the comfort and peace and quiet you need after an active day. The culinary highlight in the evening was also fantastic; the kitchen spoiled us with first-class dishes, and the next morning a generous breakfast with a great selection awaited us, so we were perfectly fueled for the next leg of our journey. For cyclists and anyone who appreciates warm hospitality and excellent food, this place comes highly recommended – we felt completely at ease, would love to come back, and would like to thank the entire team!

10/08/2026: While the food was alright, and the atmosphere was too. The horrendous service completely outweighs the good. We reserved for 12:15 got here at 12:10, by the time we received the starters it was 14:15. A 2 hour wait for starters! Thankfully the main course came only 30 minutes after we were done eating the starters, but still absolutely horrendous service. They ended up giving us the wrong main dish as well. Everyone around us had a minimum 1 hour 30 minute wait for the starters and no one was happy, many people left with complaints, many of which were made heard. I seriously cannot recommend this place to anyone. Do not come.

17/09/2026: Hello, the store is great with a wide range of products, but I have a slight reservation about the evening service. I come here regularly and you get the impression you're bothering them because some people are rushing to close, so they're in a hurry to serve you, sometimes even serving at the same time as you're closed. It's a bit annoying, especially since you arrive at 7 pm and you close at 8 pm. The service isn't great; they want to get rid of you quickly, and it shows. I'm giving it a 5 because I don't like to criticize a store, but it really needs improvement. However, this problem isn't for everyone.

04/05/2026: The welcome is always so friendly, the setting traditional, the atmosphere convivial. But the couscous is simply amazing. We've been coming for several years now, and it's always just as delicious and generous. This couscous reminds me of my grandfather's; it's homemade, with fresh ingredients, the meat is cooked to perfection (the lamb falls apart with a fork), the merguez sausage is juicy and flavorful, the veal kebab is perfectly cooked, the vegetables (unlimited, but plenty) are crisp and cooked, the broth is fragrant, and the semolina is real handmade semolina (unlimited, but plenty). I'm a big couscous eater and always leave completely satisfied without even asking for seconds. They also do takeout (bring your own containers, and it's also very generous; we've done it before). The service is very friendly, welcoming, efficient, and discreet. In short, a very good address in Chalon (we go back regularly and we are never disappointed).

23/04/2026: Excellent meal!!! We enjoyed absolutely delicious couscous and tagine, and the portions were so generous we could barely finish them!!! On top of that, we had a very pleasant time chatting and joking with the owner!!! It's an experience we highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back when we're in the area again!

08/04/2026: Since the change of ownership, the food, service, and atmosphere have all changed. I went to this restaurant in January or February of this year. Now the food is inedible. What a shame! Avoid it. I don't recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves: the food was delicious and generous, beautifully presented. A huge thank you also to the entire team for their service, which was elegant, discreet, and attentive. Always ready to help, available, and with a smile, they greatly contributed to the success of these two wonderful days. We leave with very fond memories. Thank you for these precious moments!

31/07/2026: We organized a dinner the night before our wedding for 45 people at Bistrot du Golf, and everything was absolutely perfect. The setting is magnificent, with a superb view that made the evening even more memorable. The two menus offered were excellent and ensured there was something for everyone. Every dish was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. A huge thank you also to the waitresses, who were remarkably kind, always smiling, and exceptionally efficient despite our large group. Finally, the value for money is impeccable. A restaurant that is truly worth a visit. We highly recommend it!
