27/04/2026: Excellent welcome, comfortable and quiet room. I had a truly enjoyable 3-week stay! The added bonus was the garden furniture outside the room, perfect for enjoying the sun!

13/04/2026: A pleasant surprise to discover this motel. Spacious room with a large bathroom (admittedly a bit dated, but very clean). Very comfortable beds. A good, varied breakfast (sweet and savory options). And a very warm welcome. Thank you.

24/04/2026: Frozen food, unpleasant waitress. Frog legs, over-breaded. Way, way, way too expensive for the quantity: €94.50 for three people. Storefront needs updating, and it looks like it's closed.

18/04/2026: I really enjoyed my visit. Beautifully cooked steak (entrecot Charollais) with really hot delicious fries and salad. I had a green salad for starters and a lovely warm tarte au pommes with food ice cream for pudding. With a glass of kir, a glass of Macon rouge and a coffee to finish I thought good value for €44. There was a nice atmosphere and good prompt service. I'd certainly go again.

24/02/2026: The restaurant has been replaced by an unidentified Asian place (Le Mekong), which I would avoid at all costs. I ordered gyoza as a starter; apart from the shape, they were nothing like the originals—saturated with oil and made with the wrong ingredients. Then I had a green chicken curry, which I've never seen before: hot water with lemongrass stalks and a chicken breast swimming in it. They should be told to remove the lemongrass stalks before serving, just like the other aromatic leaves; it's inedible. In short, avoid it. The value for money is disastrous.

16/11/2025: A terrible experience. No respect for the customer. I had a reserved table for four, but when I arrived... the door was locked! There was a light on inside the restaurant, but it was closed! I had left my number, but I wasn't notified.

17/04/2026: The Hotel Saint Régis is a haven of peace and elegance, a perfect place to recharge. Good value for money. Excellent stay, very pleasant and spacious room. Well-designed, functional bathroom with appropriate lighting. The room service is very good. I only had one minor incident: a gentleman who was there to clean the air conditioning asked room service to open the door (he had already knocked, and I was in the shower). He didn't realize someone was still inside. It was a minor incident. The breakfast was superb, and the customer service was impeccable, both at reception and in the restaurant. We had dinner there one evening with family, and the quality of the food and the service were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chalon-sur-Saône. A truly deserving four-star establishment.

15/11/2025: Passing through Gueugon, my son and I wanted to grab lunch before heading home. We stopped at this lovely kebab shop! The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a pleasant meal. I highly recommend it. See you soon and greetings from the 03 :)

21/01/2025: It's very rare that I give the maximum score but here frankly, very well received by a lady (the wife of the boss) who welcomed us very well 🤣, service (by a young beginner waiter) impeccable, you can consume the menu of the day or à la carte and for someone like me who is a driver (and yes), you can take a shower. Seriously, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

30/11/2025: Sorry, but I ate a pizza with undercooked ribs. It's supposed to be goat cheese, honey, and cream-based, but you're giving me a tomato base? Tomato doesn't work with honey. Go figure. Anyway, your 14.50 pizza had no taste.

27/11/2025: The only thing here that's Italian is the sixties music playing on repeat. The rest? I would have been better off ordering from Picard; at least you know the quality. When they brought me my Milanese veal cutlet, it practically drowned in all the water on my plate. The tomato sauce looked like it came straight from the local wholesaler's jar. I asked for mayonnaise: they don't make sauce! First time I've ever heard that one. Plus, there's a whole page on the menu listing what the chef is willing to do or not. Want to change your pizza? Impossible, except to remove the mushrooms. Thanks to those with allergies who can now rest easy. At this lost Italian restaurant in Cluny, what a beautiful death for an ingredient they can't remove because it's too much to ask on a pizza. We wonder why people go to restaurants less often? Here's part of the answer.

08/03/2026: Lunch on a Sunday at 12:30 pm. One hour for the starter, nearly two hours to finish the main course. The food was decent, if simple (the only side dish was dauphinoise potatoes). At 2:35 pm, after more than two hours at the table, we very politely asked if it would be possible to speed up the cheese course or move on to dessert. The response: if we were in a hurry, we should have said so when we arrived… and it's already a good thing the restaurant is open on Sundays. So we moved on to dessert: no fruit, unlike at other tables. When it came time to pay, the bill was incorrect. When I calmly pointed it out, the chef replied: "You won't be back anyway," then added that I would have been better off saying nothing since the Mâcon wine was more expensive. He then accused us of having changed the menu… confusing us with the next table. And concluded: "If you're in a hurry on a Sunday, go to McDonald's." “At 50, and after eating at many restaurants, this is the first time I’ve been treated like this. The food was decent, but the welcome and service were truly regrettable.” Everyone will have their own opinion.

31/01/2026: A wonderful culinary experience during my lunch break last Wednesday. The setting is lovely, and the food is exquisite. The welcome and service were excellent, perfectly matching the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend it. (Sorry about the photo of the appetizer; I started eating it because I was so hungry 😋😉)

12/04/2026: I just went to the drive-thru at the Colosseum: two of my meals were missing a side dish. I went to complain, and they told me I was lying and that nothing was missing. They asked for my receipt. When I brought the receipt and they realized a side was missing, they accused me of asking for an extra sandwich. When I raised my voice, they told me to "get out." I'll never set foot in a McDonald's again: unfortunately, this isn't the first time something like this has happened, but usually the employees admit their mistakes and remain polite...

25/11/2025: Starter: Canned mixed vegetables and deviled eggs—my mother's were so much better… Main course: Canned beans, dry, uncooked frozen cod, and sticky mashed potatoes… Dessert: Frozen cake and canned custard… The only thing that's even remotely decent is the wine, so that's something… It's getting worse and worse, and this is the last time I'll ever go to this place!!

14/11/2025: Excellent food, generous and flavorful portions for a set menu of starter and main course or main course and dessert for €21.90. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, highly professional, and always offered helpful advice, especially regarding wines. In short, I had a wonderful family lunch.
