03/06/2026: A wonderful discovery, our second visit. The welcome was pleasant and courteous, with a good selection from the menu and suggested options. We've already tried the mussels marinière and spaghetti with cheese, and this time we opted for the Lyonnaise and spaghetti carbonara – both equally delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the service was quick and friendly – ​​a truly delightful change! The restaurant and tables were clean, making it a really nice place. I highly recommend discovering this restaurant and its staff. We will definitely be back. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

04/01/2026: We were very disappointed. Upon arrival, we asked if it was possible to turn up the heat. We were told no, and in a rather unpleasant manner. Two people were eating wearing hats, and we had to put our coats back on to finish our meal. There were no hand dryers in the restrooms; we had to ask for them. Again, the answer was positive, but not friendly. Not a word of apology (it happens!). The young waitress was very friendly, which was not the case for the other waitress (the manager?). The meat was tough, the fries were soggy and overcooked (reheated?). Some of the potatoes in the morbiflette were undercooked. We didn't dare say anything because we were embarrassed for our friend from Autun who had accompanied us and recommended this restaurant. The pizza, however, was very good. The apple tart was very average (store-bought?). We do not recommend this establishment. It's a shame for the young waitress who was doing her best to make up for it! The setting is very pretty, though.

07/06/2026: We were a little put off by the bad reviews, but what a great find! The service was fantastic, efficient, and fast, the food was excellent, as were the desserts and drinks, and the servers were really friendly. The setting was magnificent. We'll definitely be back!

30/05/2026: The location was great! But the food shouldn't be called Italian. It took a long time, and the food was far below par! Really, none of the dishes were okay.

26/04/2026: We had a wonderful lunch on the terrace. The dishes were generous and flavorful, just the way we like them. The service was perfectly timed. What's more, a singer (not from the restaurant) came to make the moment even better—how lucky! The only surprising downside was the lack of tea that day, which was a real shame, but we'll be back.

22/05/2026: What a shame. The establishment is in poor condition, with soulless food and sluggish service. It would take very little to restore what must once have been a shining example of its former glory...

24/04/2026: Frozen food, unpleasant waitress. Frog legs, over-breaded. Way, way, way too expensive for the quantity: €94.50 for three people. Storefront needs updating, and it looks like it's closed.

22/03/2026: Best pizza for miles around! In all of Chalon, I'll only go there. Pleasant, helpful, welcoming. They make everything, not just pizza. I highly recommend them, and they're open until 2 am 😊

27/02/2026: Very welcoming place, friendly staff, perfect! I ate the Savoyard dish and it was delicious. I highly recommend it, the place is clean and spotless.

07/06/2026: I received a terrible welcome today. I arrived at 2:40 PM for a drink. I went in and asked the waitress if we could have a seat. She said yes, she'd come and take my order. Then I heard a voice from another room, which I never saw (facing the customer is difficult), speaking very loudly, saying no, no, no, we're not taking anyone. The restaurant closes at 3:30 PM. It took 50 minutes for a drink; we would have left well before closing time. Frankly, the welcome was extremely unpleasant. What would be helpful, madam, for next time is to introduce yourself and have the decency to come and speak to the customer.

26/05/2026: Bad experience. Our arrival, six of us at 1:10 pm, clearly bothered the staff, even though the restaurant was far from full. The menu wasn't even traditional, but a copy-paste job, with no light options—it's 2026!!—like a salad, for example. The food was mediocre: overstuffed burgers where they thought it necessary to add a layer of rösti under the meat, in addition to overcooked fries, and a meager snail casserole. Although we're often in the area, we won't be returning.

18/05/2026: Valentino's pizzas are excellent! At my house, Valentin picks them up after we order them for the family: keep up the great work!

28/11/2025: We were so happy to share a moment as a family. We enjoyed the terrace during the last days of summer and savored some absolutely delicious frogs' legs in cream sauce. Many thanks again to Alain for this wonderful time and to the waiter who was so attentive.
