22/01/2026: Delicious food, the fries were warm and looked like they were made from potatoes. The wait wasn't long. The hot dog from the bar was delicious.
20/01/2026: The view is fantastic! Absolutely amazing!
We ordered 2 burgers and a salad. The burgers were dry and boring. The meat was tasty, but the bacon almost uncooked. The bread was dry, and not prepared in anyway. The fries were not done and did not taste good.
The service were alright.
We will not come back.

26/06/2025: I was staying at a nearby farm with a host who wanted to show me local food, but things were generally closed because there were no tourists. He took me here and I had one of the best meals of my entire month in France. Small community where the locals know each other, and they were in league to load me up with fondue, wine, and génépi. I bet after a day of skiing I would've fallen asleep on the table. As it was, I needed to hang on extra tight on the moto ride home.
06/02/2025: A ritual for us, each year the fondue is unmissable. Local atmosphere always pleasant and friendly.
I highly recommend.

24/01/2026: There were three of us, and we arrived at 1:15 pm on the day of the snow sculpture competition. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal: Savoyard pasta with a Reblochon cheese sauce. The setting is magnificent. I highly recommend the ice cream dessert called "The Squirrel"—the ice cream is excellent—as well as the "Colonel" dessert. We'll be back in the summer for our next motorcycle trip.
14/01/2026: Without a doubt one of the best fondues in Valloire, morel mushroom fondue, I recommend it.

30/12/2025: Cold accommodation, a towel warmer in the living room that wasn't very effective for heating. The ski slope was terrible, lots of black ice. No toboggan run. Not much to do in the area. La Norma is better for skiing. And look closely at the wooden chairs; my wife fell backward and they came loose.

A roadside diner-style establishment, it combines a simple and typical setting, a warm welcome, traditional cuisine, and excellent value for money.
A set menu of "starter, main course, cheese, and dessert" for under 20 euros! It's fantastic.
The food is simple but good quality, the bread is fresh, and the restrooms are clean.
I recommend it.
10/11/2025: I was looking for a restaurant during a visit to Vouglans. I stumbled upon La Française restaurant and had a wonderful meal. From the service to the food, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic atmosphere and delicious, home-style cooking.

We ate really well, from starter to dessert, thank you chef! We even finally decided to extend the pleasure with the staff because we felt so good. 21/11/2025: It's become rare to find a brasserie that serves such a generous and well-balanced meal. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the precision of the preparation.
Moreover, the service was impeccable. The entire team was smiling, attentive, and very professional. It's truly a pleasure to be welcomed with such good cheer.

Beyond the delicious flavors, the presentation is sophisticated and meticulous, whether it's for the à la carte dishes or the daily special. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which enhances the experience. If there are no tables available, don't hesitate to venture to the village of La Biolle, just a few minutes away, where the owner runs another restaurant, Winfizz, which is just as good!
