The only option was to dine outside under a pergola (no indoor seating available)! Well, it is summer.
The fondue was enough for two, but not very hot, which was a shame! It wasn't excellent either!
The blueberry tart wasn't local either; the pastry wasn't homemade.
Total price including table wine: €40 per person. Not justified!

03/09/2026: Three of us came to this restaurant on Tuesday, September 1st, around 1 p.m. to eat a Savoyard fondue, and 24 hours later we all got sick with gastroenteritis!
I strongly advise against this restaurant, despite the fact that the fondue was very good.

Authentic cuisine, refined dishes, impeccable service—what more could you ask for?

Great value for money, and the fondues are simply AMAZING!
But the most incredible thing is the owner, Karim. Professional and incredibly friendly, he knows how to make you feel at ease and ensure a fantastic experience.
Thanks again, Karim, we'll be crossing paths again. The Besançon and Marseille crews.

27/08/2026: It was a wonderful culinary discovery, but also a wonderful human one. Piou and Joëlle are two radiant and warm people, and their warmth shines through in this mountain restaurant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
17/08/2026: Excellent welcome and very good food at a good price! The restaurant is open for the few summer holidaymakers, which is very much appreciated!

Be warned, the portion was very generous (the ribeye was over 400g...). It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
The staff were super friendly.
Highly recommended!

27/08/2026: Great resort for ski lifts.
Incredible views from Cime Caron and Pointe de la Masse.
Plenty of activities for everyone: tobogganing, swimming pools, downhill karting, the lake, Chez Pépé Nicolas, etc.
However, many businesses don't participate until the end of the season (last week of August), so it lacks atmosphere, which is a real shame.

The portions were generous, but the welcome was still lukewarm! (Perhaps due to overcrowding?) We'll be back…

One small drawback: they don't accept holiday vouchers.
I highly recommend eating there at least once if you're ever in Valloire!

Excellent continental breakfast.
Welcome and service were top-notch.
Only one urgent area for improvement: completely renew the equipment in the fitness room.
In conclusion: A very good stay - I recommend it and I will return.
