29/08/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed a mountain-style mushroom fondue, accompanied by very good charcuterie (even though, as Savoyards, we have a certain level of expectation for fondue 😜), the desserts were also excellent, the setting magnificent and all the staff super friendly, responsive, well organized, despite no doubt a high level of fatigue at the end of summer!

27/08/2026: A wonderful experience at La Maison à Colonnes! The owner is very friendly and the servers are professional, attentive, and patient. Children and pets are welcomed with great kindness, which is truly appreciated. A warm and friendly atmosphere, ideal for spending quality time with family. I highly recommend this place! 09/05/2026: Perfect location for accessing the thermal baths. Excellent continental breakfast. Welcome and service were top-notch. Only one urgent area for improvement: completely renew the equipment in the fitness room. In conclusion: A very good stay - I recommend it and I will return.

09/08/2026: The "Do It Yourself" concept taken a bit too far For €10 a pint, I thought I was paying for typical station bar service, but apparently, I've just funded my own waiter training. The wait to order is interminable. When you finally get seated, surprise: they provide you with everything you need to clean the table yourself, and you're also responsible for setting your own cutlery. I almost asked for an apron to go help in the kitchen. The highlight of the show is the staff organization. The servers don't communicate, so a second server came to bring us cutlery... which he literally dropped on me. What followed was a great juggling act as he tried to pick it up, only to drop it back on my shoulders several times. A new kind of fork massage, perhaps? The last time we went, they messed up the same order three times in a row. I thought they'd improved, but no. As for hydration, the carafe of water they served was so dirty you almost expected to see a mutant goldfish swimming in it. We had to send it back (and the water itself really wasn't good). A little adventure bonus: bring your own equipment if you're looking for the restrooms; the journey is pure urban exploration. Once you're there, the choice is strategic: no toilet paper in one, no light in the other. So basically, you either wipe with your hands or pee blindly. To be perfectly honest: the beer is decent and the crepes are good. However, the filling must have been an extra that wasn't on the menu, because it was served almost empty. And to top it all off: the bill. When I said, "I'll take the rest," the waiter completely froze. He didn't understand the concept and didn't know what he still owed... even though the receipt was right there in front of him. A truly baffling moment of mathematical confusion. But at that price, you expect real service, not some kind of participatory circus act. Avoid at all costs!

31/08/2026: During our day trip to the Maurienne Valley, visiting from the Tarentaise region, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Despite the late hour, we were able to have lunch. The portions were generous and featured excellent ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The ice cream sundaes were enormous! 😜 The service was quick despite a reduced staff due to the end of the season. The team was very friendly. The complimentary digestif was much appreciated (it's a shame we didn't get to try the owner's homemade génépi liqueur!). We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

28/04/2026: Right in the heart of Albertville and perfectly isolated from the noise. The reasonably priced garage is next to the hotel. The lounge and bar are very comfortable and inviting. At least this isn't a standardized hotel. The welcome is charming. The rooms are charmingly rustic and perfectly maintained. The bathroom is top-notch, with everything you could need. We weren't able to have dinner (it was closed weekly). The breakfast was perfect. Special mention for the original fruit juices. We know where we'll be staying on our next visit.

18/04/2026: Lunch on a Saturday after returning from vacation. The staff is truly very welcoming. The food is definitely worth the trip. A timeless place not to be missed under any circumstances.

25/07/2026: I highly recommend this inn! A very welcoming inn with attentive staff. We went there for a family reunion because it was perfect for large groups. The food was delicious and plentiful. The hay-cooked ham was incredible. The setting is very pleasant and peaceful. There's a large playground next to the inn where children can play safely.

24/07/2026: We chose the Auberge Campagnarde Ailloud, a local venue whose owners we already knew very well. What a joy to be able to celebrate our wedding in a place so dear to our hearts, in the heart of the village where the bride grew up. Just a stone's throw from the village center, yet nestled amidst greenery and traditional buildings, the inn offers an absolutely magnificent setting. The natural charm of the place is almost self-sufficient and ultimately requires very little decoration. The large tables with their wooden tops create a real "wow" effect on their own, enhanced by a few carefully chosen decorative touches. We had access to the venue from Friday morning to set up our secular ceremony, and then inside the inn as soon as service was over. This allowed us to calmly prepare for our wedding, without any stress, and even to enjoy dinner on the terrace with our wedding party and close families the night before the big day. Catherine guided us throughout the entire setup process, offering invaluable advice and allowing us to arrange the spaces exactly as we envisioned. This allowed us to comfortably accommodate our 130 guests for the cocktail reception and 75 for the meal. We held our secular ceremony in the meadow adjacent to the inn. The space was more than adequate for all our guests while still providing a dedicated area for refreshments during our couple's photo session. We had also planned for gazebos as a backup in case of bad weather, but thankfully, they weren't needed! The inn's parking lot, along with another just a few dozen meters away, made parking incredibly easy for all our guests. The cocktail reception then took place on the inn's terrace, shaded by trees and surrounded by lush greenery. The setting was absolutely stunning and was a hit with all our guests. The group photos were taken in front of the magnificent flowerbed near the terrace, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the cocktail hour. All the activities we had planned took place, including the ribbon game with the groom's bottle. As night fell, we lit the garlands and lanterns we had added to the bistro lights already set up by the Bazin family. The atmosphere was magical. We served the cake and champagne outdoors before being dazzled by the fireworks display that our loved ones had arranged as a surprise. The evening continued on a dance floor that was packed all night long. Our guests danced until after 5:00 a.m. in an incredible atmosphere. A huge thank you to Catherine and the Bazin family for their availability, kindness, and trust. We couldn't have dreamed of a more beautiful place to celebrate our wedding.

25/08/2026: Excellent restaurant and a very warm welcome. Fondue, burger, daily special, dessert – we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I have a few minor complaints about the portion sizes of some dishes, and the fact that the "mussels and fries" advertised on the terrace wasn't available. The prices are high, but that's typical for a ski resort... We'll definitely be back to try the pizzas 😉

01/09/2026: We took Marco's advice on everything. Super delicious appetizers, the excellent and unmissable polenta, the dessert, and an amazing wine pairing. All the dishes were perfectly balanced, prepared, and presented down to the smallest detail. I would have loved to photograph the rest of the meal, but the atmosphere was such that it made me forget about anything superfluous, like my cell phone. We'll definitely be back! Ready to try new pairings and new delicacies!
