08/04/2026: We discovered this place as children, where we were treated to a special dinner. We were spoiled rotten. And served by Romain, the Chef himself, with tremendous humility. All his dishes were a true delight. Bravo!

11/03/2026: Romantic dinner during a ski holiday. Ground-floor premises with a lovely terrace for drinks. Tasteful, slightly kitschy decor (old skis and teapots on the wall), with lighting effects. The tables are well-spaced, and it's quiet. Reservations are essential, as this restaurant is often full. The welcome was very attentive and professional. Modern menu on a tablet with photos of the dishes. The service was quick and efficient. Excellent mountain fondue. It's the resort's upscale restaurant, so the bill was a bit hefty, but the prices are displayed, so you know what to expect. One suggestion: perhaps label the dishes with allergens, especially since the chef uses nuts in the salad dressing and desserts. Overall, a very good experience.

09/03/2026: For several years now, we've enjoyed ending our stay at this restaurant. Once again, last Saturday, we had a wonderful meal, apart from the champagne which wasn't up to the price. The staff was very friendly. The major drawback was the owner who ignored us throughout the evening, completely indifferent to our table. Not even a goodbye; we left on our own, something that hadn't happened in previous years. Disappointed.

15/03/2026: A fantastic hotel in the centre of Val D’Isere with unmatched hospitality! I couldn’t recommend it enough, every detail was perfect, from the warm arrival to the check out. Things that stand out particularly are: 1. The spa is fantastic. Don’t miss the rooftop sauna which has views of the town, and the massage was great too. 2. The hotel restaurant is great. I don’t usually eat at hotel restaurants as I like to explore the area, but this one seemed so popular that we had to try. The raclette is so special, with as much cheese as you want and the best cheese there is! You can also try a raclette with 6 different cheeses, as well as lots of other local dishes. 3. Rooms are spacious and modern. 4. The reception staff was so kind at every possible moment. Special thanks to Ilan - We had a transport problem in the morning and he went above and beyond to help us find a solution. People at reception like him who really go so above and beyond for guests, when he didn’t need to as the problem was our own fault, are rare!

31/03/2026: Excellent dinner with a party of 10! Relaxing athmosphere, wonderfull design, warm wellcome and profi staff. Everyone was amazed with his food, lamb, beef, canard, st.jaques, burrata, desserts. Quite cheap top french wines!

14/02/2026: This restaurant truly deserves the excellent reviews it receives. Its couscous is in my top three (and at 70 years old, I've already eaten it!). In order: my mother, my mother-in-law, and Tassili 😄 A very warm welcome, perfect service, and impeccable cleanliness, even in the restrooms. And the icing on the cake: since the couscous was so generous, we were able to get a doggy bag. We're going to enjoy it again tomorrow at lunchtime... Oh, and the mint tea is amazing! 20/03/2026: The best restaurant in Champagny - the service is great, super friendly and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our food, of which is really good and great value for your money! Will always go to Le Barillon when staying in Champagny!
