27/03/2026: Long Wait despite reserving in advance. We booked in advance, but when we arrived, we were made to wait in a queue of people outside the restaurant for about 15 minutes. I don’t understand this as there were empty tables including the one we were eventually given. It felt very unwelcoming. Once we were actually allowed in it was OK. Food was reasonable, service slow (clearly staffing issues) & pricing was good. It’s off the piste, so you need to look for it & the ski back out is a narrow run with not much snow. Unlikely to return due to the initial unnecessary wait.

25/03/2026: We had a wonderful time 😁 The service was professional, friendly, and pleasant. The cuisine was sophisticated, made with passion, and truly exceptional. The prices are reasonable compared to many restaurants in the Three Valleys. The view from the terrace, nestled in the mountains, is superb and peaceful. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back! 👍

15/03/2026: Le Grill de Challes awakened my taste buds; the meat was excellent, prepared to perfection. The cooking was exactly as it should be. The foie gras sauce was superb, seasoned just right. Thank you for this convivial and delightful Sunday evening. Excellent value for money. The staff were welcoming and helpful; I highly recommend it!

29/03/2026: This restaurant has become our "must-stop" on our way to the ski resorts: both on the way there and, if possible, on the way back. The "frogs' legs" menu is excellent and consistently high quality. The ravioli are delicious, etc. The prices are very reasonable considering the overall quality. The view is breathtaking.

29/03/2026: A wonderful stay at this mountain hotel! The location is truly ideal, well-situated and convenient for enjoying the resort and surrounding activities. The hotel is very pleasant, welcoming, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. Special mention to the staff, who are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available. You feel right at home from the moment you arrive. I highly recommend it!

A magnificent view overlooking a stunning landscape, a simple yet airy dining room, and a superb, original, and locally sourced meal served on beautiful wooden and porcelain tableware! With discreet and efficient staff and a very interesting wine selection, everything is in place for a truly excellent experience! Congratulations on this third star, richly deserved, which confirms the high quality of Les Morainières.

18/03/2026: Delicious lunch, sensational view. Exquisite dishes, meticulously prepared and impeccable. Minor drawbacks: the cardoons were overcooked and therefore tasteless, the service wasn't very warm, and the chef didn't come to our table to discuss it. The waiter simply said, "I'll make a note of it."

05/04/2026: It's always a pleasure to dine at this restaurant. Fresh, high-quality ingredients. The dishes are delicious. The "trust the menu" concept is fantastic; you don't know the menu beforehand, you let yourself be guided by the chef's inspiration—a real treat for the taste buds! A warm and welcoming place where you're always made to feel very welcome! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good restaurant!

04/04/2026: As a family of 8 we had a great meal here. An authentic Savoie restaurant with a cosy atmosphere, wonderful service and delicious fondue and Raclette. The accompaniments to these were perfect and it was plenty enough for us all (we didn’t even use the second chunk of raclette). It was busy so we were glad we booked a week ahead!

20/01/2026: Pleasantly surprised by the decor and atmosphere. I ordered a vegetable stir-fry and made the owner laugh by saying I was surprised to find pieces of beef in the dish 🐂... The cook explained that they were meat substitutes. Well, I loved it!!! A very nice experience for a meat lover like me. And the dessert was original and delicious. I'll be back... #### January 20, 2026: I returned to enjoy a hot spiced apple juice 🍏. Original and delicious, just like the Bohemian decor. I'll be back.....

18/01/2026: An incredible experience! A must-try. They've succeeded in creating amazing vegan alternatives that are virtually indistinguishable from whipped cream. We recommend the waffle and the crumble. The service was incredibly friendly. A lovely break that will refresh your taste buds. Bonus: you'll feel light after your meal.

26/03/2026: If you have celiac disease, you absolutely must try this crêperie! Just be sure to ask them to thoroughly clean the griddle, as they use the same ones regardless of the batter (I didn't experience any symptoms, but it's not necessarily recommended for those with high sensitivity). They also make sweet crêpes using buckwheat batter. They are very attentive to detail, and their website specifies that their buckwheat flour is gluten-free.

26/03/2026: The most delicious crepes we've ever had in Tignes for a reasonable price. Very cosy restaurant and super friendly staff. The waiting time for food was literally 5 minutes. Highly recommended.

05/04/2026: The mountain pass in winter. What a magnificent 360-degree view! I highly recommend it. I'd love to go back in summer to see the difference.

11/02/2026: The toilets were horrendous. It's unacceptable to see something like that these days. The owners are just clean. But there's no choice if you're feeling peckish. The food was decent.

19/03/2026: A small, very friendly restaurant; the dishes are delicious and generous, and the service is excellent. For our part, the sea bream was simply superb, and the lamb shank was apparently very good as well.
