28/04/2026: Honestly, the first time I saw Folie Douce, I couldn't believe I'd find a place like this in the middle of the mountains! The atmosphere is incredible (the video is from a very quiet day), there's a really festive energy, people speaking all kinds of languages, dancing, singing, and relaxing! If you're nearby, don't hesitate to go up, because it's a truly unique place.

02/07/2026: L'Arcelle has a much more diverse menu compared to other similar restaurants in the area. We tried the fish fillet, spaghetti pasta and coffee. Everything was great. We chose the indoor seating and the ambience was quiet and pleasant. Service was quick too. We will definitely be back to try more and recommend this place to others.

We enjoyed a perfectly cooked 30-day dry-aged cut, accompanied by a gratin dauphinois cooked in the fireplace—a true delight—and a lovely, generous salad. The wine list is also very well-curated and offers some excellent selections. Marvin's passion deserves to be highlighted: it's increasingly rare to meet people so dedicated to their craft. Surrounded by a fantastic team, you can feel a real cohesion and attention to detail that makes all the difference. I sincerely wish them every success, because they truly deserve it. If you're in the area, I highly recommend a visit to L’Œil de Bœuf! (Remember to make a reservation.) And of course, don't be in a hurry: here, they respect the product. A beautiful cut of meat deserves time… and the result is well worth it.

03/05/2026: The restaurant is very well located on the slopes with a lovely terrace. There's a wide selection of dishes, desserts, and more. I went twice in the same week and thoroughly enjoyed my meals. I'll definitely be back!

02/05/2026: After a week of trying out all the mountain restaurants in Val d'Isère, Les Marmottes is undoubtedly the best value for money, with very reasonable prices! A nice little bonus: a friendly team.

06/08/2026: After a 40-minute wait, our order was finally taken. We waited a few more minutes before being served! Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by the contents of the warm goat cheese salad, which consisted of only two slices of avocado, some artichoke hearts (the tough cores should really be removed), and one tiny toast of goat cheese. The dressing was practically nonexistent. I understand it was the return from vacation, but we've never experienced such a long wait at this restaurant.

27/04/2026: I came once during my stay. At first glance, from the outside, you see this little pizzeria which, to be honest, doesn't look like much. However, we were pleasantly surprised. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, in a great atmosphere, and the pizzas were truly excellent. It had been a long time since I'd eaten such good ones. With many thanks.

07/08/2026: Very friendly staff. I was able to bring my dog ​​on the lift. I'm disabled and use two canes, and the people who take us up slow down the cabins and help us. Great. Up at the top, there's a children's play area, a snack bar, and a restaurant, but it's less welcoming and there's a wait to eat. The burger was very good, €22.50.
