07/03/2026: The owner was very kind and welcoming! We received a wonderful welcome. Even though we're from Réunion and France, the welcome was truly warm and respectful. Honestly, don't necessarily pay attention to some of the negative reviews: our experience was very positive. Thank you again for the welcome, I highly recommend it!

I'm glad the owner responded to my comment this way, so other (potential) tourists will also see the defiant attitude, lack of hospitality, and many other qualities needed to run such a business. I would like to point out to this "distinguished" lady that the French Restaurant is not characterized by arrogance, discrimination against tourists of other nationalities, or a lack of professionalism among the staff (and especially the manager). I am a lover of France and French cuisine; I have traveled all over France and eaten in restaurants where I had enriching experiences (even at Le Troll Gourmand), but this last time it was terribly bad. I recommend that the lady venture out a bit further from the region where she was born and where she operates. The world and restaurants have changed a lot, and attitudes are much friendlier towards tourists, regardless of where they come from. Indeed, I went there twice in January 2026 and both times I encountered the same disrespectful attitude. The terrace was almost empty at the end of the lunch break, and the children each wanted a burger. We couldn't leave the children alone on the terrace, being minors, so we adults stayed too, with a hot drink. The owner became quite agitated, saying that we also had to order food if we wanted dessert—an attitude I've never encountered, even in the most mediocre restaurant, let alone a French one. I haven't encountered this attitude in any of the countries I've visited (and there are many): USA, Mexico, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Luxembourg, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey, Greece, Iraq, Morocco, Egypt, UAE, Malta, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Moldova, and France. If I do not receive a public apology for this attitude, I will address the French institutions for discrimination, offensive behavior, and lack of respect.

30/01/2026: 2 hours before closing, they refused to take the order

24/01/2026: We ordered just one pizza for our little one because he didn't want to eat raclette with the adults. The pizza was delicious, and the two people inside were very friendly. This pizzeria is a great find; next year we'll order pizzas for everyone during the week.

21/02/2026: Very disappointing. We were sent away after being given a table because we only wanted to order pancakes with sugar… A bit odd for a creperie.

14/03/2026: We were able to get a table without a reservation, and they were incredibly kind, which was quite a feat. The server explained the concept very well, and there were no surprises on the bill! The meats were amazing, and the attention to detail in cooking them was perfect. Let's celebrate marbled beef and generous rib steaks!

08/03/2026: Our stay at Altapura Hotel & Spa was a true delight. We felt welcomed like family in a beautiful, comfortable setting, perfectly located at the foot of the slopes. The restaurants are very pleasant, with good choices and a friendly atmosphere, and the spa is ideal for relaxing after skiing. A huge thank you to the entire team for their kindness and constant attention. We will definitely be back!

08/03/2026: While Altapura responded to my post, I can confirm there was little to no interest in solving the situation throughout our stay or post stay. We had to flag serious issues multiple times during outr stay. Everyone apologized but no changes happened

20/02/2026: The meal was good, but the service was simply appalling. The staff were particularly unpleasant and unprofessional, which greatly marred the experience.

20/03/2026: A very sunny terrace. Very pleasant service and meal. I recommend it.

19/03/2026: We just witnessed a rather unbelievable scene at the Lo Soli bar. An English tourist ordered a bottle of red wine right in front of us. The very unpleasant waiter openly mocked his accent. He then asked another waiter to fetch the most expensive bottle. Surprised by the price, the customer asked if there was anything cheaper. The waiter insisted there was only one left. Dishonesty and disrespect are what we'll remember about this bar.

10/02/2026: Best chicken dish I had in a while! I wasn’t hungry and came just to kill time, but this chicken was just magnificent! Tender with rich flavour pallet.
