03/03/2026: I absolutely loved the soufflé for dessert! 😍

27/02/2026: Intestinal worms in my fish. It was horrifying; I'm still getting chills eight hours later. The cook didn't even apologize, just justified it by saying, "They're just intestinal worms." Basically, I'm nitpicking. Thanks a lot. And as a gesture of goodwill, they didn't charge us for the main course from the set menu, but only the starter and dessert at the individual price, a €7 discount plus the coffees. I'm frankly disgusted.

12/03/2026: Ate her while visiting Tignes last year. Has the fondue with mushrooms which was simply perfect. Came back this year just to have the same dish and it was every bit as good.

08/03/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. RIP-OFF. We went to this restaurant for raclette, as it was the only one with tables that evening. We immediately understood why. The menu stated that the raclette included 250g of cheese PER PERSON, but our piece of cheese was barely 200 grams for two people! The smoked raclette was bland. The potatoes were undercooked, and the charcuterie was very average, probably from the supermarket. All this for around €90 for two people. I do not recommend it.

06/12/2025: We went in the summer, on our way home from the Alps by motorbike... The place isn't luxurious, but the setting is unique. Absolute tranquility. Very clean and comfortable shared bathrooms. Our room had a bathtub and sink. Many thanks to Teo for his hospitality. We arrived in our rain gear completely soaked, and he let us undress in the lounge, where it was nice and warm from the fireplace. You can also read Nacho de Rivas's review. 22/08/2024: Very friendly little store which offers good local products: cold meats, cheeses, alcohol, jams... and souvenir gifts from your holidays. The welcome is very pleasant, the preparations: raclettes, fondues are excellent and in good quantity with equipment ready to spend a pleasant evening with the family after a good hike! the address can only be recommended!

21/04/2025: Excellent restaurant and super friendly staff. We were there for the end of the ski season and not much was open in town so we went to Le Rastro all three days of our stay. They have an amazing terrace in the sun too a f great food (try the pizza!). We celebrated the end of the season with them and hope to be back soon!

13/02/2026: A truly beautiful and authentic place. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and professional staff. Super fast service. Delicious food: the men tried the daily special (slow-cooked pork confit, 7 hours) and loved it! The children were delighted with their meals; their plates were empty when they left, and the fondue was excellent! We will definitely be back!

06/02/2026: We were looking for a restaurant for lunch, being skiers and hikers... L'Ancolie is perfectly located. The service is excellent, the terrace has a breathtaking view. The menu is very good with great value for money. Plus, you'll be greeted by Jambo, a very handsome and super friendly dog. Our dogs were able to play on the terrace. Thank you!

22/03/2026: Despite the crowd, we received a very warm welcome and had a drink at the bar while waiting for a table. We ended up spending three hours in this bar/restaurant, which was much more pleasant than being stuck in traffic on the way back from skiing.

20/03/2026: After the first visit ,I came here 2 more times. The wine list is impressive, but being alone I stuck to wines by the glass. The service from Camille was commensurate with the wine list – exceptional. I was greeted each time in a friendly and professional manner. Everyone spoke beautiful English, but I’m sure that my experience would’ve been even better (if that’s possible ) if I spoke French. The charcuterie board was artfully laid out, and the burrata salad and roasted vegetables excellent. I wish I was here longer to experience more of the menu . Highly recommend.

11/03/2026: A delightful time shared with friends who are regulars. We enjoyed a tasting of a very good St. Joseph Gripa, recommended by the owner. The shared meal was fabulously delicious. We'll be back to treat ourselves again.
