20/09/2024: Weekend offered by our eldest daughter. (Every year she offers us a weekend in a castle ❤️) We thought we would have a pleasant time in this wonderful setting, but it was quite the opposite. The castle is beautiful but lacks a lot of maintenance, there are no guidelines. The tables from the day before are not cleared (glass, bottle, etc.) Lack of maintenance at the swimming pool (old deckchair without mattress, no towels available) Regarding the cleanliness of the room = everything needs to be reviewed, or even changed certain things (broken lampshade, dirty window that does not close, spider web, etc.) For the evening meal, we are going to have an aperitif at the bar, no one!!!!, the person at reception always with his phone sees us entering the bar (at least I think) but nothing happens. We bother her to get more information about wanting to have a quiet drink before our meal, well that's not possible, you have to go directly to the restaurant. The meal time was pleasant for us unlike those around us. The crowning glory was breakfast. I don't know how much breakfast costs in this castle but we were expecting something fantastic, well no we didn't eat anything because at 9:30 a.m. there was nothing left (no pastries, no bread, no omelette.. .) everything was empty! Leftover ham and cheese. We had a lot of trouble finding a place because no table was cleared, we drank our coffee and ate a madeleine. And that was it! In short, for this type of establishment, please recruit managers with trained staff so that the customer is satisfied. We still thanked our daughter for this gift which must have cost her an arm and a leg but we do not recommend this castle (there are much better ones elsewhere and close to this one).

01/09/2024: Great place for a romantic weekend. I only gave 4 stars for the room as there was no air conditioning and it was a hot day so difficult to sleep. Otherwise it is a very nice place.

06/08/2024: We tested for the first time the pizzas which are excellent and at least the best we have tasted in the region, service which keeps its promises.

29/08/2024: After a rafting trip, nothing could be nicer than having lunch in this small, unpretentious but oh-so-pleasant restaurant! Flawless all round (welcome, pleasant staff, delicious dishes, etc.) And everything is “homemade” (or almost). The setting is very pleasant with the trees and the river right next to it.

27/08/2024: IMPECCABLE service, very smiling and pleasant waiter, homemade dishes, everything was delicious, the terrace at the edge of the watercourse and next to the reservation site for rafting or other outings is top notch!

12/10/2024: We ate there twice during our vacation this summer. The cuisine is excellent and the dishes are very generous. The duck breast is succulent. The team is very nice. I recommend 100%

28/09/2024: Very disappointed, very pleasant welcome and setting but very disappointing food. The cheese was industrial and the potatoes reheated. We wanted to eat local products, we were very disappointed.

Le service était irréprochable, et chaque plat, plus délicieux que le précédent, a été un véritable régal. Vous l'aurez compris, nous avons passé un moment exceptionnel et recommandons chaleureusement 'La Table de Mon Grand-Père'.

27/08/2024: allergic to nuts, I specified this to the waitress even before ordering the dishes. first bad experience the hot starter was served to me during the aperitif which did not allow me to enjoy my margarita quietly and enjoy my hot starter as planned. I had also specified to the "sommelier" that I wanted to follow the tasting of the dishes with wine in the glass - which was not the case..... for dessert blueberry tart from the first bite I immediately felt the taste of fine... the waitress had done her job well because it was specified on the voucher my intolerance I site Mr. the director: "this lack of communication" would have could be dramatic! in order to apologize, the manager gave us a discount on the room but I still paid for the menu in full....
