19/03/2026: We went there for lunch on a weekday. We received a warm welcome. The dishes were beautifully presented, mouthwatering. And what's more, the food was delicious. Afterwards, we enjoyed the sunny terrace overlooking the Sorgue river. Very pleasant.

17/01/2026: Fantastic welcome! The owner has been there since 2012. I first went in 2017, and it was an excellent experience. I went back yesterday to confirm my excellent memory. I'm extremely picky and a purist when it comes to pizza quality, and I've finally found THE pizzeria in France! The only downside: I live 130km away. So either I travel there, or the pizzeria moves! 😉 I highly recommend it in any case!! And I'll be back!

25/02/2026: I don't understand how anyone could give less than 5 stars to this extraordinary place. Everything is delicious, including the staff and the wood fire. The cuisine is exquisite and generously portioned. It's even recommended by the Michelin Guide! Also recommended by Lonely Planet.

15/02/2026: The food was so-so. The ingredients were very good and fresh, but the cooking wasn't done carefully enough. The beef was perfect, but the vegetables served with it were almost raw. The scallops were the same: very good, but the sauce was underdeveloped, bland, and served almost cold. The sea bass was also good, but the sauce was the same as the scallops. The presentation was quite nice, and the service was pleasant and smiling, with occasional touches of humor that were a nice touch. The location and ambiance were appropriate. We appreciated the gesture of being offered a glass of wine after we commented that the scallop appetizer was too warm. In short, nothing to write home about. The price is excessive at €75 per person without wine, but then again, this is Gordes, which shouldn't be reflected in the price.

13/11/2025: For 26 years we've been coming on holiday to this beautiful village and we've always enjoyed the restaurant Le Cercle; we eat very well there, using good quality ingredients. The staff are very pleasant, as is the owner, Christian, who is very frank and a bon vivant—I love him. See you next year, I hope.

16/02/2026: For Valentine's Day, we were supposed to be there at 8 pm. The wind was blowing and it was very cold. We finally got inside at 9 pm. We waited an hour. The service was very slow. But the waiters were very kind. The meal, at €110 per person, was good but not enough, and the drinks were very limited! Very disappointed for the price; €220 is outrageous. Sorry, but I had to say it. No boat trip because of the mistral wind, no romance. Frankly, I expected something else!

20/12/2025: I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn't know this place. The welcome was very warm; the two ladies were incredibly friendly, kind, and smiling. The couscous was very good, just a touch lacking in chickpeas, but otherwise, nothing to complain about. And the orange salad for dessert was a delight. Thank you so much; we're adding this place to our list of favorites.
