28/08/2024: On vacation in the bastide of dreams, we followed Corine's advice and went to Lou Lubéron. It’s a simple and friendly place, you feel good there. The interior has a lot of charm. The service is perfect. The waitress is very attentive and anticipates our requests. We tasted Provençal dishes: pistou soup and octopus stew. Everything is homemade and very tasty. Special mention for the octopus sauce. Congratulations to the chef.

23/08/2024: The only downside being the sometimes waiting time for sushi when there are people, this restaurant is a must if you are looking for original and relatively high-end sushi

02/09/2024: At the bastide, time stands still in a magnificent setting, the very pleasant team takes great care of its customers. The cuisine is subtle and delicious, we will return there as soon as possible.
We strongly recommend.
31/08/2024: Musical evening. An excellent guitarist in the background.
We took advantage of the garden and enjoyed cold dishes with local cold meats. A pleasant time and we will do it again this evening. We went back and were enchanted by François Bérody who provided the musical atmosphere for this evening. For the rest, nothing to say, it was very good!

It is a small restaurant in a 'cave' where the two owners are in the business themselves and deliberately choose a limited number of tables.
This means they pay full attention to their guests, who they spoil with their knowledge and enjoyment of the profession.
The food is of absolute top quality.
Worthy of a Michelin star.
Fantastic location.
Highly recommended. Make sure to reserve well in advance.

01/05/2024: We had lunch here before and returned expecting the same standard , to find out it had recently changed hands, all I can say is wow they have taken the restaurant to a new level, this is Michelin star quality and service, it’s like a culinary journey of what is in season with a twist. Cannot recommend this enough we will be back if we can get a table now the secret is out

There is a set menu with a few options to choose from.
Ambiance is great and service is excellent.
Be sure to plan and reserve in good time!
07/09/2024: Following a meal for 2 people today consisting of 2 aperitifs, 2 starters, 2 main courses, 1 dessert, 2 coffees and 1 digestive, the waiter asked us to pay 160 euros.
My wife being surprised we asked for the details of the note.
The waiter arrived apologizing for having counted incorrectly and refunded us 30 euros.
Pretext "I counted you 1 extra dish" (no dish at their place costs 30 euros).
They are crooks with more than mediocre cuisine and prices worthy of the French Riviera.

19/09/2024: The place is magical. The food is good, the welcome is exemplary, the setting is very pleasant.
14/09/2024: Don’t miss the revisit of the summer truffle pizza: a real treat. This dish is definitely worth the detour.
On the other hand, the quality of the dishes is uneven, too bad!
Some times, everything is excellent from the starter to the dessert, and others like yesterday, à la carte dish (chicken ballotine) with "splattered" puree in the middle of a split and chipped plate, not at all appetizing, poorly presented and sold 24 euros anyway!!
The smiling staff are very friendly and attentive.
We will do a fifth try anyway…..

01/11/2024: Excellent accueil et excellente nourriture. La carte change régulièrement, les plats sont fait maison et sont excellents.
Nous avons été très sensible au menu pour les enfants qui sont servis avec une quantité raisonnable (afin d'éviter le gaspillage), mais pour lesquels nous pouvons redemandé du rab si l'enfant a encore faim. C'est la première fois que nous voyons cela et nous trouvons cette idée remplie de bon sens.

03/09/2024: Buon ristorante tipico in Avignone al centro. Buoni piatti discreto rapporto qualità prezzo. Porzioni normali, non particolermente abbondanti qualità buona. Un buon standard per un ristorante francese.
Ambiente informale, simpatico in una bella piazza pedonale, perfetto con amici. Buoni cocktail.
