02/11/2024: Nos alojamos en el Beau Rivage con la intención de comer aquí, ya que las críticas tanto para el hotel y el restaurante eran alentadoras. En una noche húmeda, a mitad de semana, el restaurante estaba ocupado, solo tres de nosotros éramos huéspedes en el hotel, por lo que uno asume que el resto eran locales; siempre una buena señal. El servicio fue rápido, amable y profesional. Como suele ser el caso con los buenos restaurantes, nos animamos al ver la selección de otros comensales antes de que nuestras selecciones llegaran. No nos decepcionaron. Los precios eran razonables, la calidad era buena y bien presentado. Muy satisfecho con nuestra elección de restaurante.

26/09/2024: Although our meal started off a bit on the sad side, we still had a pleasant and tasty lunch. The aperitif was disappointing because the drinks we ordered, advertised as 6cl, were half ice. A bit stingy. The wine list is also on the pricey side. However, the quality of the dishes and the friendly service turned the tide, allowing us to end the afternoon on a positive note.

21/06/2024: Pour une première nous avons été agréablement surpris. Un accueil extrêmement chaleureux. Du personnel attentif attentionné. Un repas très bon simple basique mais qui fait mouche. Rien à redire tout est bon. Un cadre exceptionnel dans les 50's américaines . On y reviendra c'est certains. Merci au personnel pour cet accueil incroyable

04/05/2024: Première fois pour moi aujourd'hui et que dire à part que c'était parfait. Le service a été très rapide ce qui nous arrangeait (en soit il faut assez vite choisir son plat mais nous avions déjà choisis) et les plats sont vraiment bon (2 burgers et un burrito servis avec du riz). Merci beaucoup

19/09/2024: We were passing through Caen and looking for dinner not too far from the station. What a nice surprise! Everything was delicious, very well cooked with fresh produce AND above all an adorable welcome, a team with a smile, accommodating and available. I recommend with my eyes closed for excellent value for money and welcome and I would like to take this opportunity to thank again the team who welcomed us

10/09/2024: Nous avons mangé le menu du midi qui était ma foi assez bon. Petit bémol sur les légumes qui auraient pu être mieux présentés et mieux garnis, mais après tout, avec un menu, on sait que les quantités sont limitées. Le millefeuille praliné avait beaucoup plus un goût de caramel que de praliné, mais il était quand même relativement bon malgré tout. Vu le nombre d'attrape-touristes dans le coin, je trouve qu'on s'en est pas trop mal sortis. Juste une petite remarque. Quand on prend un vin au verre à 11,70 €, j'aimerais qu'on me le serve devant moi plutôt que de me ramener un verre déjà rempli. Le vin était bon, mais rien ne me dit que c'était celui que j'avais commandé, d'où ma réflexion.

31/08/2024: Very welcoming and professional crew. We all ordered different courses and everyone was satisfied. Perfect from starters to desserts. We warmly recommend and for sure will come back.

14/07/2024: The most unpleasant experience ever had in a restaurant. Came for the 2nd time to this restaurant. The first time, the waitress was already not very friendly. The 2nd, we arrive 15 minutes late (1:45 p.m.). We would have completely understood if someone told us that it was too late, but the waitress preferred to accept our arrival while showing all her contempt from the beginning to the end of the meal (we cut the music and turned off the light at 2:10 p.m. to keep us in a hurry anyway). When I spoke with her, she told me, with a tone as contemptuous as ever, that she did not have the right to refuse customers but that “she also has a life”. Just before, I heard him and his colleague attacking other customers: “and they haven’t left there yet?” So I wish this dear waitress to stop attacking customers, and instead to go and confront her boss if he refuses to say no to customers. It requires showing less cowardice though...

14/07/2024: Coming this afternoon with a relative with whom we hadn't seen each other for almost a year, our reunion was spoiled by a waitress in a foul mood. Haughty and unpleasant. We were quickly made to understand that we had to leave the premises after 2 p.m. (music and lights turned off). However, it was enough to tell us kindly. I will never come back and will take care to tell my experience to all my work colleagues who come regularly.

06/09/2024: Un repas fort sympathique, une ambiance familiale pour une très bon déjeuner en rapport qualité/prix. Nous avons mangé en terrasse.
