11/05/2026: Cooking and seasoning need improvement; meat was overcooked and some dishes lacked flavor. The waiter was pleasant, but the wait between courses was too long. The atmosphere and restaurant were pleasant.

07/03/2026: This place is absolutely abhorrent and wouldn’t stay here if I was paid. The food was radioactive, not a single bit of variety and felt like I was eating dog food (could be considered an improvement). The rooms are in desperate need of renovation, to list a few: mould on walls and bed sheets, showers that flood, sewage smell, and complete lack of concern for hygiene. Wouldn’t be surprised if the next global pandemic stemmed from this place. The staff were mostly ok but got a lot of funny looks. They seemed completely disinterested in working there as-well. The location was alright as had easy access to the historic d day landing beaches. Overall wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, stay away out of concern for your health. Would give this place negative stars if possible

09/12/2025: Charming hotel, excellent service, and most importantly, a biker-friendly hotel. Comfortable and clean room. Motorcycle parking.

15/05/2026: Very good traditional baguette, practically warm at any time.

16/04/2026: For breakfast, we had a pain au chocolat and a Pepito cookie, which were actually quite good. We then tried a Too Good To Go, but were disappointed by the quality of the products (various hard and dry breads...). On both visits, we noticed the young saleswoman's extreme nonchalance, giving the impression that we were bothering her.

06/05/2026: The hotel is charming and has a nice, old-fashioned feel, with a very warm welcome. The only downside is the bathroom! The shower head and hose are subpar. It's really small and tucked away to the side. Breakfast was decent, but a bit more variety would be better.

05/02/2026: A decent, clean 2-star hotel. The decor is a bit dated, but hey, it's just for sleeping! It could use a few more power outlets, which is a shame considering how many devices we have these days...

24/09/2024: Perfect. Better than around Rue Saint Sauveur, with the leftists and the humanist boomers. Best atmosphere. We still see normal people there.

27/12/2023: A FUIR !!! Serveurs impolis et pas souriants. On demande la carte et il nous la ramène en trainant des pieds. On commande deux chocolats viennois, AUCUN GOÛT !!! Au moment de payer, le prix n’est pas le même que celui indiqué sur la carte, je leur fais la réflexion mais d’un ton très peu aimable (clairement agacée), le serveuse me répond que ce n’est pas son problème, que le patron a décidé que c’était ce prix là donc il faut régler ce prix là ! Apparement elle sait que les cartes doivent être changées mais ducoup POURQUOI VOUS NE CHANGEZ PAS VOS CARTES ???? (ne serait-ce que changer les prix avec un autocollant, même un enfant de 6 ans peut le faire) J’en parle au deuxième serveur en partant mais il ne sait prendre qu’un faux air étonné en guise de réponse… ABSURDE ! (En plus de tout ça, ils abusent clairement sur les prix !)

15/03/2026: What does it mean to call the toilets in such a pitiful state? The bar would do well to offer a small restaurant; it wouldn't hurt. Furthermore, there isn't really a menu. Prices are arbitrary; you'll pay depending on how you deal with the owner.

29/04/2026: The cup I was served was completely yellow inside and smelled bad. I'm all for using recyclable materials, but there's a limit. I took a picture, but I can't post it on this site.

20/09/2025: Arrived today 6.15pm to find it closed and locked up despite website and signs on door saying open at 6pm. Very disappointed

19/06/2025: I ordered by phone, and the person who answered was far from pleasant. I specifically told them on the phone that I didn't want salad in my sandwich. I got home, started eating my kebab, and then I realized there was salad in it, hardly any sauce, and don't even get me started on the meat—it was dry and tasteless. It tasted like it had been cut at least three hours earlier. It's really a shame. In any case, I won't be going back. I wish you all the best.

09/05/2026: All the pastries have a blue snowflake on their price tags. I asked why, and it turns out they're frozen! On the other hand, the croissants and pain au chocolat are very good and not tiny like some bakeries are making now... without lowering the price, of course. We only buy these from this bakery now.

12/05/2026: Excellent experience at the McDonald's in Falaise. Fast service, friendly staff, and a clean and well-organized restaurant. Convenient location for a quick break while traveling in and around Falaise. I recommend it.

10/05/2026: I was served very unpleasantly at 9:50 PM. The burger was poorly made and cold, the wrap was the same, two fries were missing, and the potatoes weren't cooked.

27/04/2026: A hamburger with just a "meat" bun and sauce—where are the vegetables?! 10 minutes for two meals when the restaurant was empty. It's not like they're understaffed. Cold fries, same for the burger. Avoid at all costs.

30/11/2025: Avoid at all costs!!!! Run away!!!! One star, but that's the only way 😕 Not good!! The fish soup tastes like water. The fisherman's pot has three fish, but where are the fish?

20/04/2026: We ordered iced tea and received it 20 minutes later. The glasses were dirty, with fingerprints and lip marks... avoid this place.

02/05/2026: The Smart Menu is €7! While the one in Hérouville is €5 for a small chicken and a small cheeseburger. They're thieves! Normally it's €5, and here it's €1.50 more! Photo 1 is the one from Mondeville because I don't have the Hérouville one anymore as proof. And I can confirm that this one is indeed the one from Carpiquet! And the second photo...

30/04/2026: Disappointed by the lack of professionalism, the unfriendly and indifferent team. 15 minutes to pay for my drive + 15 to get my order. I was the only customer, no rush. For the wait, I asked for 2 luxury sauces, apparently inventory tonight, and they refused while laughing. It seems that customer satisfaction and management are not a priority in this place.
