23/09/2024: Very disappointing. We ordered the set menu at 35€ and chose main + dessert. The food arrived literally 2 minutes after the waiter took our order and was very overcooked (salmon and skate wing). The side dish of leeks was nice but very small, and the side salad of chopped iceberg lettuce with half a cherry tomato on top was partially frozen. The dessert - apple terrine - tasted fizzy so we didn’t eat it as I suspect it had been hanging around for a while. Unless you are desperate for a sea view I would avoid this restaurant.

24/08/2024: This place is so famous, the waiters are so rude, we took some champagne and they poured half of it on the table, they brought one of the requested dishes very late, it's a shame because the quality of the food was very high

18/08/2024: Our platter was good, but the prices are really high for a meal directly in a fishmonger. The equivalent in the restaurant would cost 30% less, with real service.

06/09/2024: It's a short straw, nothing extravagant but you eat well there. Good meat and good cooking, fries...anything. service...ditto and atmosphere....ditto. it's missing a little something to take it a notch above. I can recommend it with my eyes closed for those looking for a place to rest between two stores or when you are passing through.

05/09/2024: Having left for two days on a business trip, I decided to eat at Courtepaille. Warm and caring welcome, customers are respected and considered, which is different from certain chains. The meals are of good quality and in sufficient quantity. I recommend this service. The chocolate mousse is excellent! The only constructive criticism I can make would be about the sauce with my chicken which was not very lemony (too bad). Good luck to the teams.

26/09/2024: My friends and I came during the week. We had ordered a “large” aperitif platter which the quantity-price ratio left something to be desired since it was made up of portions for 4 whereas there were 7 of us… (it was not specified, too bad a second one could have been possible). When we expressed our dissatisfaction following this “large” board for 4, the waitresses as well as the manager did not demonstrate professionalism and lacked friendliness… We were clearly taken down by justifying themselves with “l 'andouille is expensive, so it's worth the price' Finally, the dishes ordered did not correspond to the dishes received and to top it off several of us were sick… Very disappointed with our last visit compared to our previous visits last summer.

02/06/2024: Avoid, this restaurant is no longer what it used to be. The person who answered the phone when I booked spoke to me as if we were friends. Frozen fries and only a small ramekin for 2, poor service, not surprised that it was closed administratively

09/09/2024: Very nice reception when we arrived. Changed to a room with a bigger bed! A bit hard beds!! Good breakfast!! The restaurant was superb - mussels super tasty!!! Parking nearby for a fee. Bus up to CAEN. Nice walk to the sea!

02/09/2024: Bsr. Aucune mauvaise critique. Lieu agréable disposant d'une très belle terrasse, une très belle salle pmu Beaucoup de choix en presse. Le personnel top du top. Les patrons sont très agréables . Facile d'accès. Tout est réunis pour y passer un agréable moment. Et un joli sourire vous attend, celui de Sandrine, humaine avant tout et très professionnelle. (Ps: la coupe de cheveux le top.) Merci à toute l'équipe du merville pour ces bons moments. Yestheday 🙃 .
