12/09/2024: je connaissais ce restaurant auparavant et il n'y avait aucune critique à faire. Mais la, je m'en mord les doigts, je viens de faire une intoxication alimentaire. EN dehors du fait que les plats ne sont pas terrible, gras, mais la j'en suis sur il n'y a pas du frais, malheureusement j'y suis sensible. Clairement je n'y retournerait pas

30/08/2024: On voulait essayer ce restaurant , connaissant celui de deauville qui avait été plutôt satisfaisant. Mais la !!! Intérieur bien vieillot comme laissé a l abandon , aucun client et la table proposée au fond de la salle coté cuisine… bon il n etait que 20 h Notre choix ;couscous jarret et végétarien pour mon épouse. Et la !!!!un constat surprenant ;Les légumes a force d être réchauffés et baignés dans leur jus etaient mous , aucune saveur ni soupçon d epices , viande bien servie mais …😪 Et pour finir , un thé sans menthe fraiche ,l addition bien salée : seul point positif le service … ca sera la 1 ere et dernière fois. Dommage.

01/10/2024: Very expensive glass of wine, white and red.. Very small mussels. Microwave fries, limp. Nothing special, except a hefty bill.

23/09/2024: Starter was good, fish soup, mussels, many, many, left on fire for a long time, everything cooked to pieces, cook fell asleep or was too busy

15/09/2024: On est arrivé à 12 h 30 10 dans le restaurant et pas de poisson dans le menu ??? Dessert pareil Serveuse sympa dommage car le cadre sympa

30/09/2024: The roadside center where the fries are so cooked that they have become curly, the flank steak is very small and a savatte full of nerves, the homemade cookie is infamous, the parking lot is full but no one eats there, you surprise me, what's more considering the price is expensive, ah yes for the coffee it's not the longest because the water must be expensive for them apparently anyway, in short a cook who sabotages the ship or a stingy boss....to flee...., moreover, pay attention to your truck too many illegal immigrants roaming around since the hotel is nearby.....a Fiasco this pseudo restaurant...

27/09/2024: Go there with your eyes closed 😑! Passed twice this week...(Tuesday Friday)! €16.50 Starter buffets. Daily specials [Tripes à la mode de Caen- Hampe with Roquefort sauce, all with 🍟 Homemade 😜👍! Cheeses and Desserts...💪👊👍for the Chef in the Kitchen. Dynamic, Smiling Waitresses 😁. Listening to you 🙏! Manager 👍, Sandra, Mélodie, Véronique and the others 🥰😘! I would come back... that's for sure! SMCAEN’s 🤷‍♂️🚍🔴🔵!🤫🙋‍♂️

02/12/2024: Odeur de vieux à peine rentrée dans le restaurant, suite à un racolage fait par le patron en nous promettans que c'est des produits frais et fait maison. Serveur sympa, mais en contre parti les moules inondé de crème, et camembert pas de gamme, sans goût. Et le fish and chips avec ce petit arrière de goût de je ne sais quoi, vraiment pas terrible ! Déçu d'avoir mangé ici et d avoir dépensé 80e !

02/12/2024: Je suis toujours circonspect lorsque je lis des avis très désagréables sur un restaurant. Vraisemblablement des adorateurs du guide Michelin qui aimeraient trouver de la cuisine gastronomique dans un restaurant qui pratique des tarifs de menus abordables à tout un chacun, bien loin des prix délirants de la nouvelle cuisine aux assiettes quasi vides ( mais goûteuses, je l'accorde ). Donc, nous avons déjeuner attablés dans la salle du Channel, pour nous nourrir. Et c'est très bien ce qu'a fait ce restaurant avec des plats fort corrects qui étaient bien loin d'être insipides, le tout pour un tarif fort raisonnable pour ce type d'établissement. Nous avons été très satisfait du Channel de Ouistreham, restaurant que nous n'hésiterons pas à recommander, et cela sans réserve.

13/09/2024: Unsanitary water in the spa! We stayed at the hotel for one night in May and came out of the pool with a completely bleached swimsuit that I had bought that day and my hair stuck in bunches and bleached! I can't even imagine the damage to the skin! I contacted the hotel to ask them what had happened, and they said that in fact, the water in the pool was not up to standard, and that apparently a pool specialist had come by the next day following complaints (we had left so impossible to prove). Reimbursement request refused for the night and for the swimsuit. The management has stopped responding by email and despite my reminders, I have not received any feedback... In short, a stay to be avoided, at least if you do not want to risk swimming in corrosive water!

25/08/2024: Accès refusé car présence d'un chien guide d'aveugle : réponse du patron : j'en n'ai rien à foudre des aveugles!!!!!! Honteux !!!!
