29/08/2026: Edel and Jules provided wonderful service and were friendly and considerate throughout our stay both in Eylau and L’Esprit Nouveau Restaurants! They made our dining experience very pleasant!

21/08/2026: Although I waited longer than I should have for my food the restaurant manger con’d me for it. This was an excellent gesture which I accepted. Other than that the hotel restaurant ambiance was very relaxing. Thanks staff!!

30/09/2026: The food wasn't very good; I was disappointed with my meal for 18 euros. For me, eating is a pleasure, and I had indigestion and the food was poor.

06/10/2026: Very good and tasty food. The quality was as expected good. Typacal Burgundy good. Amazing wine menu. Top address to have good food and wine in Beaune. The prices are fair. I would highly recommend you to make a reservation as it was super busy and packed.

23/08/2026: We were received by the hotel with a very kind and warm Joaquin. It was a one night pit stop in Beaune, carrying on to Calais the next morning. The rooms were clean and the service was pleasant. The bathroom was also clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable which is what you want after driving for 6 hours! We will definitely be staying in Le Central Boutique again as we like Beaune due to its rich heritage in wine and beautiful location.

18/07/2026: We stayed here two nights to escape our unbearably hot Airbnb - and the air-conditioned room made it totally worthwhile! Huge thanks to the manager who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Le Central is ideally located in the historic centre, moments from fantastic restaurants and bars. We'd gladly stay again - and not just for the AC!

05/10/2026: A simple place with a covered terrace. Two friendly young waiters with smiles, one of whom was a student but managed to meet our expectations. We laughed with him, and that made a big difference. We encouraged him because we've also worked in restaurants and know that stress and the fear of not doing well can be frowned upon by some customers, but we put him at ease. Well done to him (we don't know his first name). The €44 set menu (there were four of us, so we were able to see each other's plates, and everyone enjoyed it) was well-presented, with sufficient quantity and excellent quality. We savored the soft-boiled eggs with Époisses sauce and parsley ham, the chicken with Gaston Gérard sauce, and the coq au vin with fries—yum! Just one small complaint about the cheese (three small portions of two different cheeses: perhaps the portions could be reviewed, and there should be a choice, and a few salad leaves added—just an idea). The savory and sweet faisselle cheese and the gourmet coffee/tea were delicious! The chef was friendly, came into the dining room, and had a laugh with us! It's a pleasure not to be rushed to eat. We'll be back, hoping everything stays this way because we love it! No fuss, no frills. BRAVO!

19/10/2026: The burgers and fries are homemade and excellent, as is the charcuterie and cheese board. The portions are generous and high quality. I recommend it.

24/09/2026: As a lifelong resident of Dijon, I was unaware of this superb restaurant. Everything was a delight; each ingredient was expertly prepared, and you could feel the passion in the kitchen. Congratulations on your remarkable work! :)

10/08/2026: What's missing is a smile and friendliness from the person who I think is in charge or managing the place. Otherwise, the servers are pleasant and the young man at reception is perfect. I certainly won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it. A foreign couple came in and this same person turned them away in such a... You should change careers, madam; you can't run an establishment like this and be so unpleasant.
