26/08/2024: We came for a Sunday brunch with friends.
Beautiful setting and quality/good food. The buffet is however a little small compared to the price (65 euros) especially since the brunch does not include any drinks (tea, coffee, fruit juice).
The service really needs to be reviewed for a restaurant of this caliber, very little attention from the staff, and sometimes rude and inappropriate staff.
To do at least once for the setting and the food which is tasty but the welcome does not encourage you to come back

24/09/2024: I went to Flunch Quetigny today (09/24) for a quick lunch before leaving for the office. Once there, a crowded tourist bus had just had the same idea.... The manager and his staff were able to manage the situation without other customers suffering. BRAVO for this organization and for the welcome.

At the entrance a sign sets the tone by telling you not to sit at a table and to wait for a server to come and contact you.
Bread crumbs and the like stuck in the grooves of the table do not inspire cleanliness.
At the end of the menu card, a whole text justifying the prices applied by the restaurant (VAT, electricity, etc.) and a call for non-waste. We get a good moral lesson with this feeling of becoming a primary school student again, so we tell ourselves that after that the bar will be set high.
An endless wait for sad plates, sparsely garnished and without any embellishment. Sauces except mustard and mayonnaise in tubes are extra.
The prices seem high compared to the services.
We expected much better because the restaurant is magnificent and very typical.
In short, a disappointment for us because when we leave, we have this strange impression that we would surely have eaten better at home...minus the moral.
01/09/2024: Very good restaurant that listens to customers and their wishes I was able to benefit from it today because there was only cereal bread they did their best so that they could have some from the other hat

17/11/2024: Excellent pizzas with a thick dough that we love! I devoured my pizza in just a few minutes! Impeccable delivery service with a little note noted on the box. This is the first time I've seen this and it's really a very welcome bonus. I recommend this pizzeria 100%!

Très bonnes viandes et plats copieux.
Vins au verre honnêtes et prix raisonnables.
27/08/2024: Un restaurant qui sert des frites maison (extras) mérite un intérêt particulier et dans le cas de l'Auberge du Val d'Ouche, à juste titre: tous les plats que nous avons goûté portaient la marque d'une gastronomie locale fort honnête cuisinée à échelle humaine. Ambiance chaleureuse et détendue. Merci pour ce moment!

18/07/2024: We have been coming to this restaurant regularly for 3 years. Of all, it is the one that remains the best in our eyes. A location in a quiet little street in front of the old courthouse with its terrace in summer. Delicious dishes very well presented. And the little extra, a welcoming boss who is helpful and very, very friendly. Thank you, it’s always a pleasure to come and eat at your place.

14/09/2024: On a voulu déjeuner à midi à 3 vers 14h. Il n'y avait personne. On a commandé 3 menus Kebab. Le cuisinier a allumé le grill. Je ne suis pas 1 idiot et je sais comment ça se passe... Allumer le gril pour faire croire tout en remplissant le sandwich avec une viande froide qui sort de je ne sais où.... La serveuse me dit de m'installer. Je répond poliment que je préfère la viande sur le gril. Elle me répond que je ne choisis pas. Alors s, justement. Je préfère être remboursé et partir. Je ne recommande pas évidemment.

26/08/2024: Unfortunately I had a very bad experience in this restaurant. Yesterday, I was with my husband and ordered a salmon with leek sauce and I received the plate, the salmon was dry, very small and there was a cold pasta that had a sour taste. Was very frustrated. My husband paid full price and the waitress couldn't offer a solution. We don't speak French, but German and English. We felt that was a problem too. Definitely, not a recommendation.
25/08/2024: Overcooked fries impossible to prick them with the fork burger good but it was missing some smoked bacon elements which were brought back to us on a plate...in short not a great experience..

06/09/2024: It’s ok. The service is great. The food is good.
But… at the end of the day, the menu is dull. Nothing a relatively experienced home cook couldn’t pull off on a weeknight.
It’s a very good chicken and lovely whipped potatoes at a mind numbingly ridiculously high price.
Honestly, I expect way more at a Michelan restaurant. It seems in Beaune, they are given out as party favors, where in the rest of the world the food must be spectacular, innovative, special and memorable.
If you are going for the wine and the service, decent but boring food, and a really high bill, look no further.
30/07/2024: Between the description found in the Michelin Guide of this so-called “chic” bistro honoring local flavors and products and reality there is not a gap but a gulf. The welcome is basic, a guest's napkin has a hole in it and although we drew the attention of a waiter to this subject, it will never be replaced. The dishes follow one another and only reinforce the idea that we would have been better off booking elsewhere. If the price is right, the quality of the food is absolutely not. The puree is messy and inedible. We report it to the waiter who offers us a new one. As a precaution, to preserve our taste buds, we prefer to ask for the bill... salty, very salty, too salty and leave the establishment. Wine by the glass is offered to us but that is no consolation because the latter (32 euros per glass) was not up to par either. We leave this place relieved that the experience has ended but with the unpleasant feeling of having been the victim of an imposture. We don't know when this establishment shone for the quality of its cuisine but it must have been a long time ago. A serious questioning is necessary before the shipwreck.
