17/08/2026: A very good restaurant in Hautefort, a great menu with not too many dishes and very affordable. Always friendly service and air conditioning inside when the weather is warm. Definitely recommended if you are in Hautefort. We return every year.

31/07/2026: Fantastic... Everything you could want when visiting this region. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the setting is lovely, and the food is delicious. The duck breast was perfect and generous, the fish was delicious, and the sweetbreads in brioche were also excellent. In short, a superb and authentic discovery, far removed from tourist traps. I highly recommend it and extend my sincere thanks to the restaurant team for this wonderful experience.
30/07/2026: We came to celebrate a family reunion, and the Rib of Beef & Concert themed evening was magical! The service was perfect (despite the crowd), the rib was cooked to perfection, and the atmosphere was festive and friendly. A place to remember for those who want to enjoy a delicious meal and have a great time ✨👌🏼

The only downside is the price… Aside from the tourist appeal of the area, we found it difficult to justify the cost of our meals for the quality of the food.

18/08/2026: Canoe and kayak rentals with several possible routes on the Dordogne River. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The driver is very careful. The trip down the Dordogne is very pleasant and peaceful.
17/08/2026: Booked through our campsite. 22km descent... It was perfect, a beautiful, accessible route, without any difficulties, and with lovely views of the sights we had visited on foot beforehand. The staff gave us a very warm welcome and explained everything.

14/07/2026: 35 euros for three lettuce leaves, a spoonful of lentils, and a few pieces of gizzard, not even seasoned, followed by duck confit served with reheated potatoes (nothing like the picture of the dish), two scoops of ice cream for dessert or a small bowl of strawberries with sugar. Add a bottle of wine, an aperitif, and a coffee... 50 euros per person... and for that price, not even air conditioning... seriously, a tourist trap, avoid it.

The prices are reasonable and the staff are incredibly friendly. It's the perfect place to cool off on a hot day, and you can also visit the nearby caves to aid digestion.
