29/07/2026: We ate there evening of Monday 27th July, group of 6 with our dog. We were inside and very warmly welcomed (including doggo). Food was excellent the duck parmentier being the favourite! It's very reasonable, great food attentive service... great to be on the terrace if possible. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

28/07/2026: A very good restaurant, found by chance on Google. You can tell there's real care behind every dish. The service was excellent, a warm welcome, smiles, and politeness—essential qualities. My only slight criticism is that I find the appetizers and desserts a little too expensive.

09/06/2026: So, it's been almost a year. We decided to book La Chartreuse du Bignac for our wedding. It was a natural progression for us, since the proposal took place in this breathtaking setting. For the past year, La Chartreuse has been with us every step of the way, helping us choose the menu, the wines, and organizing everything. The big day was on June 6th, with exclusive use of the estate so our guests could extend the celebration. This weekend was unforgettable for everyone, from the planning to the culinary delights. Everything was wonderful, from the cocktail hour to the meal, and even breakfast. Thank you to Jean Twari and his team for the culinary creations, thank you to Marina Arfeuille for the organization and her support, thank you to Pauline Lavignerie and Bastien for the service in the rooms. Thank you to the entire team at La Chartreuse. For a truly unique and unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this estate; it's simply perfect.

25/05/2026: An authentic country house, renovated with great care and taste. The ideal place for a charming and very relaxing stay, whether by the pool overlooking the surrounding hills, in the shade of the chestnut trees or on the terrace of the excellent restaurant.

17/08/2026: A wonderful restaurant we found on our holiday route: delicious smoked trout, excellent duck rillettes, roast black pudding… And above all, the service was very friendly, all in a lovely setting.

16/08/2026: Beautiful, peaceful setting. Large terrace. We went for lunch; there was a choice of the daily menu or the "Petrocore" menu. Both were excellent. I personally chose the latter. The starter was local trout, the main course a hand-carved carpaccio of local meat—the best carpaccio I've ever had. Even the after-dinner drink was local! Thank you to the owner for explaining the dishes when we were served and also for his good humor. Even though it's a bit far for us, we'll be back.

08/07/2026: In historic Périgueux, near the cathedral. Very friendly welcome. Pleasant setting, whether on the terrace or inside. Delicious, well-prepared dishes. Excellent, original cocktails. Pleasant service. We will be back. A must-try for a great time.

02/08/2026: We are motorhome travelers, and in Vaunac, a rest area next to the village hall gave us a very warm welcome. But a must-see is the inn "L'Auberge de la Sobronade," where the welcome is more than warm and the menu features many homemade dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. The short detour was well worth it.
