08/09/2026: We was recommended this restaurant from Adrian Kenyon, the local artist and it turned out the best thing we did. They fitted us in and we enjoyed a superb dinner there. Fantastic waitresses, no note pads all by memory, a good sign of experience. Food and wine was top shelf

07/09/2026: We had lunch today and it was delicious. The waitresses who served us were very friendly, the meal was good (we tried both options on the menu), and the setting is charming. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, away from the hustle and bustle of the main square.

19/09/2026: I'm revising my review because the experience during the tourist season is nothing like the off-season... 1: A discovery for us locals, who are disheartened by some local restaurants. The food is well-prepared, generous, and very good value for money. Almost like a bistro. There's a lot of care put into the dishes served. For locals who are tired of foie gras and other duck breasts, or ready-made meals from Metro, the menu offers some great options like Thai-style tuna, a sublime perfect egg, and fish! For duck lovers in all its forms, you'll be well catered for as well. A pleasant spot, with a terrace and air conditioning, 2: We returned in August with guests from our gîte, certain we would treat them… Total disappointment, and a bad image for our 5-star gîte: the portions were much smaller (half-portions), the presentation of the dishes was appalling, the service was catastrophic… no menu, no bread… mistakes with the drink orders, the staff were running around like crazy 🙈 We waited 20 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation, and above all, a huge disappointment with the dishes served, which had switched to "tourist" mode: same price but nothing on the plate! Nothing like what we had eaten before. A big disappointment then… for us and our guests! A good restaurant should be good all year round…. Another restaurant in Le Bugue and Les Eyzies that will be blacklisted…

15/09/2026: Absolutely delighted! Everything was delicious and piping hot. Very good, very refined, generous portions without any fuss, and the plates were hot. And the staff were very efficient and very friendly. We were here two years ago. We'll be back! We want to try the roasted Camembert, grilled beef, and Sarladaise potatoes. Thank you to the team! 17/08/2026: A wonderful restaurant we found on our holiday route: delicious smoked trout, excellent duck rillettes, roast black pudding… And above all, the service was very friendly, all in a lovely setting.

16/08/2026: Beautiful, peaceful setting. Large terrace. We went for lunch; there was a choice of the daily menu or the "Petrocore" menu. Both were excellent. I personally chose the latter. The starter was local trout, the main course a hand-carved carpaccio of local meat—the best carpaccio I've ever had. Even the after-dinner drink was local! Thank you to the owner for explaining the dishes when we were served and also for his good humor. Even though it's a bit far for us, we'll be back.

23/08/2026: Made a reservation for 830 arrived with elderly parents at 8pm and were immediately seated and made welcome on lower level as mum cant do steps Drinks were prompt. Food ie fish and chips were gorgeous huge portions and couldnt eat it all. Made to feel welcome Highly recommend but please remember to book you cant just drop in as always bpoked up

26/08/2026: Best pizza for miles, and indeed stand up to comparison internationally. We came back at least five times this summer and will be going again. Great setting and service for a very reasonable price.
