04/09/2024: We came, convinced by the very good reviews of this family inn. We were not disappointed. The menu is very generous and offers unbeatable value for money. We were able to taste house specialties, the basic product of which traveled around ten meters. It's nice to have such a short circuit.
Finally, and for us this was the most important, the bosses are of a simplicity and kindness that makes us happy. It's almost like a Sunday meal with the family.
Just come and you will be received like kings. What is certain is that I will come back.

Don't look for small dishes in the big ones, we eat REAL

Small garden plastic table and paper trivet: I love it, it feels good next to all the so-called local restaurants.

The staff is very welcoming.
The rooms are spotless.
Breakfast served at the table offers a lot of choice.
The restaurant offers refined and inventive dishes. Chef Régis Ongaro takes the time to share a few moments at the end of the service.
We had a superb stay.
Congratulations to the entire Belle Étoile team ⭐️
09/08/2024: We received an excellent welcome, the server was very attentive. The dinner was incredible, with flavor, presentation and quality produce served on the outdoor terrace overlooking the Dordogne. Our room also had a view of the river. Place to recommend!

Well located for visiting lots of sites in the region.
Parking very close to the hotel.
We were very well received by the whole team. A family atmosphere, we stayed 2 nights as part of a gift box and we were well received (not the case everywhere).
The rooms are clean and welcoming. We would have preferred a room with a shower because the bathtub was not very suitable for taking showers (this is really the only negative point).
The setting is magnificent.
Very good breakfasts.
We will definitely come back.

23/09/2024: quelle belle découverte ! c'est tout à fait par hasard que nous avons poussé la porte du restaurant, très belle expérience culinaire et humaine, excellente cuisine, très bons vins; nous sommes retournés une seconde fois pour déguster le cassoulet maison... excellent. Les échanges avec le cuisinier et le personnel ont été également de bons moments. ALLEZ Y !!! Le cuisinier est un passionné de rugby !

11/05/2024: Absolutely fabulous little restaurant in a lovely peaceful square in the midday of Perigeaux.We was warmly welcomed by i assume the owner who fortunately spoke English as our French is limited and shown the lunchtime menu which although some would say was limited it covered all your requirements.We both had the crab to start with my wife having perfectly cooked (medium rare) steak for her main and me the sweet breads cooked in a mushroom sauce with the obligatory cheese to finnish everything was excellent,washed down with a lovely rose wine all for €100 outstanding value,food,service and setting DO NOT miss this restaurant if your ever in the area.
