15/09/2024: Il ne faut pas être pressé ! Le service est long. Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais le jour de notre passage, l'ambiance était électrique. Une dame charmante au service mais son collègue, lui, était peut aimable. La chantilly (en bombe) est à température ambiante, dommage. Sinon, la charcuterie est bonne. Mais j'ai pas été conquise pas le côté typique ou atypique. On l'a fait une fois, c'est bien.

14/09/2024: Toujours endroit très charmant , la patronne et très souriante, mais le serveur, on avait l'impression de l'embêter.on a beaucoup attendu pour le plat , c'est la 1 ère fois que sa arrive, car d'habitude c'est super .

27/01/2025: Having had the opportunity to come and eat for my birthday, my partner and I were won over by this restaurant. Located in the old Bergerac, this small, warm and very intimate restaurant has everything to please you. Great team including a chef, who also has a sumptuous talent for cooking, and is very pleasantly kind. We recommend that you try this culinary delight with your eyes closed, especially for the gnocchi with Monbazillac sauce. One of the best restaurants in Bergerac!

Une belle découverte sur tous les plans quant au menu de la burrata de chèvre, en passant par au pavé de lieu sur son lit coco et le fondant au chocolat accompagné de pistaches ;quel régal des papilles... Bravo et merci au chef , à toute l'équipe pour ce moment harmonieux que vous nous offrez en partage ..Il n'y a que de l'amour dans tous ces actes... Merci infiniment, à bientôt avec plaisir.. 07/12/2024: We went there with our eyes closed, based on previous reviews. As a result, we are extremely disappointed. Passionate about bistros in the four corners of France, even in the most remote countryside. The one in Montpazier welcomes a lot of people, however, the welcome is not warm as people testify. The waitresses greet us with a haughty attitude, a forced smile which disappears immediately when our backs are turned. Perhaps fatigue, weariness of the world….so be it, but still!! Meals, very skinny pizza, ……a small piece of smoked salmon in the middle of arugula and cherry tomatoes. The duck breast, nothing to say, perfectly cooked. Dessert, very good crème brûlée, a “burifo” ice cream sundae, pear ice cream on pear brandy….to be avoided. A ball of ice cream drowning in very poor quality brandy. Dessert for €8 without any presentation or decoration (no whipped cream or other frozen dessert decoration) Don’t hesitate to come and eat there if you like canteen meals!!! Only one qualifier for us, who are really not difficult: really bad. What saves the bistro is its undeniable tourist location, it's shameful for all the others which are well above

Magnificent setting, splendid castle, warm period-style atmosphere. Exceptional restaurant for affordable prices. Smiling staff with whom it is easy to discuss our stay plans to get their advice.
