12/08/2026: We went to this restaurant for dinner. We ordered a bottle of water, two glasses of wine, two appetizers, and one main course. The final price was excessive at €90. There were no vegan options at all. Only one vegetarian option. A negative mention goes to the tartare, which was inedible: too spicy, the sauce completely covered the meat. Nice place in a central location. Friendly and reasonably attentive service.

08/08/2026: This is a restaurant where the food is excellent, the value for money is good, and the daily specials are even very attractive. The staff are lovely and genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend it.

05/08/2026: This is the second time I've eaten at this restaurant, and I thoroughly enjoyed it; the meal was perfect from start to finish. It's in my top three favorite restaurants in Beaune. The atmosphere is pleasant, the dining rooms are located in vaulted cellars, it's lovely, and air-conditioned. I'll definitely go back. I will go back.

23/07/2026: Horrible experience and health risk - avoid this place! We visited this restaurant on July 23rd and ordered two full menus. Starters were fine, but the main course was a major issue - the chicken served to us was partially raw. ​When we pointed this out, the waitress just seemed bewildered. She took the plate away and returned with a much smaller portion of the same chicken, which had clearly just been thrown back on the pan for a minute. Out of concern for health risks, we declined to eat any further and asked for the bill for what we had actually consumed. ​Instead of proper resolution, they initially billed us for the full menus, including the undercooked chicken, only deducting the desserts. Only after further discussion was the bill slightly adjusted. We ended up paying €70 for basically nothing, along with the health risk of undercooked poultry. A decent restaurant would offer proper compensation. Very unprofessional service - I definitely do not recommend this place!

29/06/2026: I had reserved a table for 6 people on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 7:30 PM (acknowledgment of receipt received + personal details provided). Upon arrival (after several hours of driving), the establishment was closed due to a "heatwave." No call, no email received to cancel or inform customers. We were simply presented with a fait accompli upon arrival. A complete lack of respect. Calling or sending an email to cancel would have been the least they could do.

13/08/2026: We ordered two pizzas to go on August 12th, at the last minute. Despite the restaurant being busy, we were served quickly. The welcome was exceptional, the staff very pleasant. And to top it all off, we thoroughly enjoyed the pizzas. You can immediately tell that the ingredients used are of very high quality, that the pizzas are made with professionalism, and the dough is truly delicious. So yes, some might say the price is a bit high, but ultimately, with the quality ingredients and the effort put into making the pizzas, it's well worth the price. We will definitely be back.

20/06/2026: We made a reservation as a couple and were the only guests – they opened especially for us. They cooked just for us. It was fantastic: great service, helpful advice, delicious food, creative, seasonal, and lovingly prepared cuisine – highly recommended. The ambiance is traditionally simple but charming. English was no problem.

16/06/2026: We were delighted to dine at this charming inn in the heart of a beautiful, peaceful village. The owners are incredibly kind, and I personally thoroughly enjoyed the snails and the coq au vin, which I digested perfectly. My wife appreciated the attention given to her gluten-free diet (she has celiac disease) and is very grateful to the chef. In short, a highly recommended place. The real Burgundy, indeed.

01/08/2026: After reading several reviews, we managed to book a table at the last minute this afternoon at this bistro. The lady was kind enough to find us a small table on the terrace. We had booked for 7:00 pm. The waiter, who was incredibly kind, even let us choose our table. He was the perfect example of someone passionate about their work. What followed was a delightful and convivial evening, with excellent food and very good drinks. We will definitely be back!

01/08/2026: This bistro is clearly overrated on Google Maps. The service, like the food, is basic. Orders are taken quickly without even a smile. A minimum of presentation, or at least reheating what should have been warmed up to make it look decent, would have been the bare minimum. The beef tart tastes like it's been dressed with the same vinaigrette as the salad starter. The risotto seems to be made with standard rice. Go get a pizza; you'll get more for your money. And don't trust their website, which looks better. A huge disappointment during our visit to Beaune.

24/07/2026: Is boring local without “local charm”. The food is basic Burgundy dishes of reasonable quality. The meat is dry and boring in Boeuf Bourguignon which is the “claim to fame”.

18/07/2026: Passing through Dijon, we decided on "Le Piano qui fume" (The Smoking Piano). Dinner was perfect from start to finish: an aperitif with an excellent olive cake to whet our appetites, followed by a chilled zucchini and Comté cheese soup as an amuse-bouche (very refreshing in the heat). For my discerning partner: roasted duck breast with red pepper and Savora mustard emulsion, then a cheese plate from Burgundy and Franche-Comté, and to finish, a soft dark chocolate cake with passion fruit sorbet. For me: "Fresh from the market" fish (salmon that day) and a peach salad with lemon and olive oil, served with verbena ice cream. The meal was divine, the service impeccable, and the setting pleasant with beautiful exposed stone walls. I'm keeping the menu for our next trip to Dijon.
