17/05/2026: I made a reservation several days in advance on the website. It clearly stated that the day was available. I called today and learned that I'm on a waiting list. I received no prior notification from the restaurant. The service was appalling.

17/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening…all the dishes were delicious: regional products given a creative twist…the flavors were there, yet light… Pleasant and professional service. 2 stars well deserved.

07/07/2026: As part of a training course, I had the opportunity to have lunch at this establishment and I was very satisfied. The service is quick and efficient: a starter and a main course are served in just 45 minutes, which is ideal when you're short on time. The value for money is excellent, with a set menu at €17.50 including a starter and a main course, or a main course and a dessert. The cuisine is varied, fresh, and the portions are generous. The staff is dynamic, professional, and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

26/07/2026: Kudos to the chef for his perfectly executed dishes; the best tapas platter I've ever tasted, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It's a shame there's such a contrast with the service. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful discovery. Best of luck.

18/07/2026: Hello. It's July 18, 2026, and I'm still furious about the terrible experience we had on the evening of July 17, 2026. When making a reservation through TheFork, it stated a 50% discount on all dishes (excluding set menus) and drinks. I admit I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I understand what I'm reading. Even today, I checked by phone and I didn't see any restrictions on the applicable discount. This is the first time this has happened to us through the website. We had made a reservation through the website specifically for dinner with certain dishes. Finally, we arrived, after a 30 km drive plus a €1.20 toll, only to be told that not all items on the menu shown on the website were eligible for the discount. They only offer discounts on certain items. I told the restaurant owner I was unhappy, but he didn't back down. He even dared to say that TheFork clearly states the discount only applies to certain items. I just checked again, and I still see the entire menu says "excluding set menus and drinks." I checked the reviews on the website, and wouldn't you know it, I'm not the first person who's been ripped off. As you can imagine, we didn't stay, we didn't order anything, and we left hungry, having to drive 35 km back without paying the tolls. Who's paying for our wasted trip plus the tolls there? Me. We ate elsewhere for less and had a much better meal. The items he supposedly offers as part of TheFork menu are completely useless to us; we can find them at restaurants closer to home. There's no point in driving 60 km for a ribeye steak or half a duck breast, or even for a Caesar salad, for example. This is the first time we've had such an experience booking a restaurant through TheFork. I wanted to share this very bad experience with you because, according to the website, we supposedly didn't respect and honor the reservation, so it's impossible to leave a review through TheFork. Who is responsible for our very bad experience? The restaurant or TheFork for providing incorrect or withheld information? I don't know the quality of the food, so I won't judge it since we didn't stay. I'm only commenting on a bad experience in a different context. So, to those of you who book through websites hoping to get a discount, be very careful, and especially ask for written confirmation of your options to avoid an unnecessary trip and disappointment, especially if you have to travel several kilometers...

23/06/2026: I can only give a rating for the restaurant: it was simply incredible! A must-try! The meal was absolutely delicious! One of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were truly lovely. I look forward to returning.

15/07/2026: Pleasant place, good and friendly service, but unfortunately the compliments stop there. The €18 menu (starter, main course, drink, dessert and coffee) is quite weak. The mixed grill came with strips of pork that looked more like ham, they were so thin, plus a small piece of chicken and chorizo, accompanied by wilted potatoes. For dessert we ordered the "authentic Portuguese" pudding as advertised, but what we received was something that looked more like a mousse with no texture or flavor whatsoever. Finally, the bill, which should have been €36 for 2 complete menus, came to €43 because they charged for drinks separately. Only the intention remained of Portugal.

13/06/2026: A wonderful place for lunch or afternoon tea. Everything is delicious, the ingredients are high quality, and the service is always warm and friendly. The waitresses are lovely, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I've been twice and had a fantastic time each time!

07/06/2026: A little gem! We came for the pistachio cake and it was absolutely delicious, two teas that were just as good, and the ladies were so friendly and lovely! Absolutely fantastic! And the tea room is really beautiful!

19/07/2026: Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try the food because I was waiting at the counter for some other information (so no food review). The manager or chef, dressed all in black, was leaning on the counter on the customer side (so not behind the counter, nor in the kitchen), so I assumed he was also a customer waiting. After staring at me intently, I smiled at him, and then he told me to "get out of here" because I hadn't said hello to him when I came in (he hadn't said hello either, obviously). This old gentleman is incredibly polite; he really needs a vacation, I think. Response to the establishment's response: Sir, what would be my motive for lying about the reason for my visit, or for lying about actually mistaking you for a customer? Don't be offended; you seem like just an ordinary person, and unfortunately not the amazing chef or manager you think you are. Wearing black doesn't make you stand out any more than a customer. Furthermore, as I maintain, you weren't in your kitchen at all, but rather in the customer area, so my not speaking to you was perfectly justified. When you told me you worked here, I even apologized, explaining that I'd mistaken you for a customer, but you wouldn't listen and kept telling me to "get out." And no thank you, please don't try to teach me your manners, because in addition to not using proper punctuation, you're bitter and acting in bad faith. My "lamentable mind," as you put it, was simply seeking information to help someone homeless who was in dire need for the night.

08/07/2026: We went there, confident given the rave reviews. Huge disappointment. I don't think I've ever eaten such tough meat. In fact, I left half of it, which, considering the price, is a shame. The duck breast was also mediocre: dry and tasteless. A pity.

06/06/2026: I had a wonderful evening at the Blind Test in a friendly atmosphere at this restaurant, which served fresh, high-quality food. The staff was welcoming and very pleasant. The prices reflect the quality of the food but are quite reasonable. In any case, I thank the team for making our evening so enjoyable. It's also worth noting that the establishment has a children's play area where my children had a great time, as well as a shaded area and a pond where you can take a stroll.
