28/07/2024: We had take away of 3 pizzas, quattro formaggi and reine were delicious! Pizza of the day was burned melanzana! Not recommending!

Excellent service and welcome.
As for the food, it’s a well-made Carr Brasserie.
9 small but tasty oysters.
Salmon salad well served.
The wines by the glass are perfect (white).
A downside, the screens with NRJ12 which only provide background noise and attract the eye. Putting landscape images and soft lounge music would be better.

19/08/2024: Kitchen, cellar, bar, too much too far from the price level charged. It's well presented but the flavors are not there. And Nespresso for coffee ended up killing the game.
Not up to par.
26/07/2024: Moesten nog de tafel indekken toen we er al waren, de kaart bleef weg zoals eigenlijk alles.... de service was beneden alle peil, veel te duur voor hetgeen we gekregen hebben. Bij een 3 gangenmenu blijkbaar ook geen amuse bouche , entree kregen we heel laat, hoofdschotel was duif met mais, dus duif met duiveneten ....zelfs geen aardappel bereiding erbij. En dan de dessert, puur confituur op een koekje en een sorbet erbij. Voor 75€ per persoon had ik hier veel meer van verwacht. Een keer en nooit meer!!!

Trop cher pour ce qu on a mangé, et bu . Service expédié, pas le temps de boire notre apéritif , que le plat arrivait déjà !!!! Ainsi que le dessert , à peine commandé, déjà arrivé . Ce qui veut dire , dessert tout prêt.
Ambiance moyenne dû aux serveuses , car aucun relationnel et pousse à la consommation .
27/11/2024: Viande bonne mais plutôt grasse et pas un goût exceptionnel non plus.
Sauce que l'on choisit avec sa viande = elles ont toutes la même texture gélatineuse = sauce toute faite
Poêlées de légumes de saison = carottes + chou-fleur !
Frites = pas maison
Dessert = tout fait
Ras le bol de ce genre de resto qui fait qu'à force je n'ai plus envie d'aller au restaurant mais je préfère manger chez moi !

Magnificent restaurant (terrace), welcoming and caring staff, very friendly and very helpful.
Quality of the dishes… good, nothing more.
Quantity on the plate: MINIMALIST! From starter to dessert.
Really unfortunate.
Always the same problem with restaurants believing they serve semi-gourmet meals. Stingy with a real lack of flavor.
But once again, the staff was really great! And that is our only satisfaction.
08/07/2024: We really enjoyed the brunch, both in terms of the choice, the quality of the products, the cuisine, the attentive service and the setting.

18/09/2024: I ordered an Old Fashioned here, and it was really excellent! The balance between whiskey, sugar and the little touch of orange was just perfect. Plus, the bar is super well located, with a friendly atmosphere and a beautiful view that makes the experience even more pleasant. I will definitely come back!
29/07/2024: Absolutely unacceptable, I asked for a glass of water for a friend who was not feeling well, the waitress's response: she should not drink so much. I had to insist on having the glass of water. This behavior is shameful.

18/06/2024: L'Alpette in Megève is located in a beautiful high altitude location. However, the service can be quite long. Perfect for enjoying the view and the mountain atmosphere, but be prepared to wait a bit to be served.

The waitress speaks too loudly and is rude to customers
The boss almost threw breakfast on the table, not a smile, I had tears in my eyes, we have never been so poorly received
I think they earn enough without the tourists…. I strongly advise against

22/08/2024: This is very misleading, because there is a very expensive restaurant (that we went to) and a cafeteria (much better value, that we wished we’d gone to!).
We paid €350 for 2 adults and 4 children. The food was very poor, and the service equally poor. The pepper starter was the most bizarre thing we’ve ever eaten. The aubergine dish tasted like a cross between stale liquorice and burnt toast. We thought at least there would be incredible views, but the restaurant is very small with small windows. The views in the cafeteria are far better. Don’t waste your money in the fancy restaurant, just go to the cafeteria!

10/04/2024: Very disappointed with the quality of the dishes, the staff not very attentive. The most expensive dish in the restaurant, €50 (with truffle), does not taste like truffle at all but is accompanied by a piece of string found on the plate. Expensive for the quality. The worst dining experience in Megève, ever.

She is a new manager (since December 2024) very nice indeed, but too young to run a bar!
She wants to bring in money, which is normal, but above all she is irresponsible!
Again last night, March 2, 2025, loud music!
Drunk people banging on the bar, screaming, and she lets it happen...
She has no authority!
It won't last long, because everyone is complaining!
In the 40 years that this bar has existed, this is the first year that a manager has not been able to manage his customers!
If she wants a nightclub, she has to change location, or ask her owner to soundproof her establishment!
Respect the co-owners, miss!
There are people who work and get up early, they need to sleep early too!
There are children who have ski lessons and have to get up in the morning!
There are people of varying ages who are unbearable by your crazy music…
There are co-ownership regulations.
Doesn't the noise at night mean anything to you?
Respect the co-owners and tenants of this building!
18/02/2024: Commentary intended for those who would like to know what it is like to spend a stay in the buildings located around the bar.
The bar is cool, the people are nice and welcoming.
The snacks are good and it’s great for a break after a series of descents.
For context, there were 9 of us with 4 children aged 2, 5 and 10 years old.
The problem is elsewhere, let me explain:
The bar does not respect its surroundings.
Drunk people are shouting and having fun outside, the French windows are open and no checks are made.
The music is too loud and it is impossible to have a clear idea of the times, despite several discussions with the owners (only money counts even if that means neglecting the well-being of the people around on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings: we broke down and left before Friday evening)
Results of a family stay = impossible for young children to sleep before 11 p.m.-1 a.m., they were terrified)
We managed to get the DJ (the owner not wanting to bother chatting with him) to turn down the bass a little (a big thank you to him, because the ceiling and wooden parts of the chalet were shaking and cracked).
In short, the little human side is lacking a little and no avenues have been proposed to improve cohabitation.

19/04/2024: Great atmosphere and a fantastic place to stop on the slopes for food or a drink.
The prices on the menu are really reasonable compared to lots of other locations on the mountain.
Views from the chairs are also great compared to lots of other places
Would highly recommend again!
06/04/2024: Great place to chill after skiing, and have a drink or snack. However you’ll be surprised by the toilet !! 😂
