19/08/2024: Kitchen, cellar, bar, too much too far from the price level charged. It's well presented but the flavors are not there. And Nespresso for coffee ended up killing the game. Not up to par.

26/07/2024: Moesten nog de tafel indekken toen we er al waren, de kaart bleef weg zoals eigenlijk alles.... de service was beneden alle peil, veel te duur voor hetgeen we gekregen hebben. Bij een 3 gangenmenu blijkbaar ook geen amuse bouche , entree kregen we heel laat, hoofdschotel was duif met mais, dus duif met duiveneten ....zelfs geen aardappel bereiding erbij. En dan de dessert, puur confituur op een koekje en een sorbet erbij. Voor 75€ per persoon had ik hier veel meer van verwacht. Een keer en nooit meer!!!

15/09/2024: Allergic to strollers. We came for a drink around 4 p.m. this summer, not many people... 0 welcome, except the owner who boasts in a low voice with his table of regulars. I quote: “Oula, I’m going to put on some music”. For your information, our 6 month old baby was good and quiet. And it continues with whispered chatter. So when 6 people + the boss stare at you and laugh, it's clearly insulting. I agree with the other comments: tourist trap + change jobs, gentlemen!

18/06/2024: L'Alpette in Megève is located in a beautiful high altitude location. However, the service can be quite long. Perfect for enjoying the view and the mountain atmosphere, but be prepared to wait a bit to be served.

14/08/2024: Great welcome, the boss is open to discussion. The sandwiches and salad are super good. Nothing to say. Reduced service due to the weather but honestly nothing to say we adapt. And that’s completely understandable.

10/08/2024: Epic food at very reasonable prices. The cakes are to die for. Also do a range of savory food on the left hand side as well as hand made chocolates. Great place for take away lunch, mini pizza or baguette with filling.

01/09/2024: Un esperienza orribile. Insalata con salmone affumicato, servita senza salmone. Carne chiesta al punto, servita cruda. Richiesta di fare più cotta, due minuti dopo servita cotta fuori e cruda dentro. Servizio quasi inesistente. Posto da evitare. Prima e ultima volta

01/09/2024: A terrible lunch. A good restaurant. But terrible service and terrible food. Seafood salad with smoked salmon, arrived without salmon. The meat requested more cooked, arrived raw. Ask to cook it over cooked, cooked on the outside and raw on the inside. Plus almost non-existent service. Horrible experience. First and last time.

04/09/2024: Suite aux avis sur le site nous avons testé et nous n’avons aucun regret personnel au top le Burger et le tartare très bon ainsi que la mousse au chocolat maison le grand plus la gamelle d’eau pour le chien des notre arrivée. On reviendra

23/08/2024: Table of 8 people, everyone has a drink including some pints of beer. Only 1 person wants nothing and asks for 1 simple glass of water. Response from the waiter: we do not serve water here, take 1 bottle of mineral water...so you have to pay. A shame!!!!!!! Response to the owner following his response: we did not settle in for free as you suggest, we are well behaved. We paid over 50 euros with the 7 paid drinks. So refusing a glass of water I maintain is a shame!!!!!

06/05/2024: become my bakery for some time. Quality/very fair price. and affordable and good pastries. fast and friendly staff. Pastries, bread, special breads (Chorizo/olive strings), tarts and well-filled sandwiches.

03/04/2024: Having come by boat to Thonon, I was looking for a place to eat not too expensive near the port. They offer small catering quiches, salads and pastries but also more elaborate cuisine with dishes, all at rather low prices. Possibility of eating on site. A certain number of elements, or perhaps all of them, are cooked on site. Friendly couple.

10/08/2024: L ´Attitude du gérant une vrai horreur. Restaurant à fuir niveau qualité des produits et du professionnalisme. Le gérant se permet de mal parler que ça soit pour une la réservation téléphonique ou meme quand nous sommes sur place. Champagne sans bulle il me dit sait normal je l’est ouvert ce matin … Mon filet de bœuf était de la bavette et bien nerveuse …. Bref ne vous arrêtez pas!!!!

15/09/2024: Si vous remontez un an en arrière, vous retrouverez mes 5 étoiles a cet établissement que nous avions adoré. Nous décidons d’y retourner et prenons le soin de réserver sachant qu’à cette époque en montagne, difficile de prévoir le personnel. Et effectivement seules 2 personnes pour un service et pour autant vous continuez d’accepter des tables sans réservation alors même qu’une bonne partie des plats proposés ne sont plus disponibles. Nous commandons l’apéritif et une entrée de tartinade à partager pour l’accompagner, l’apéritif est servi et les tartinades… 40mn après !. La palme est décernée à la Tomate et tomme blanche où le reblochon remplace la tomme sans nous prévenir… des fois que nous serions des touristes ne connaissant pas la fameuse tomme blanche de lorette. C’est tout simplement honteux. vous vous en fichez probablement M. Loubet, vu le peu de considération que vous tolérez vis à vis de vos clients, mais vous ne nous reverrez pas.

07/09/2024: We wanted to go to this establishment for a drink and a break. We were received by an unfriendly waiter who did not hesitate to ask an 85-year-old lady to push herself quite hard... long live respect even if it is not very young. Almost threatening also by saying that mountain people are angry people, that's good, I'm also from the mountains. We left without consuming to go a little further where the welcome was much better. So moral of the story TO FLEE!!!!!
