11/11/2025: Drove from the UK to Belgium but stopped off in Dunkirk on the way. Stopped at this place for a drink and a snack. Lovely location on the promenade with a lovely view of the beach. We were were a party of 8 and seated straight away. Immediate service. We ordered coffees, soft drinks, ice cream and chips. Service was quick and friendly. Overall a very nice place to stop, have a drink and relax. Would be lovely in the summer ☀️

29/09/2025: Been here twice already, the food is a good size with lots of flavour. It's a budget friendly place, you won't spend more than 20-25€ per person in food, drinks and desert. The staff is very friendly and the location is perfect next to the beach.

12/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome, even though we hadn't booked, as we were just passing through the area. The food is simple but well-executed (a special mention for the fries, which I don't usually like, but here they were excellent!) and in the end, it was very, very good. The decor is tasteful. The restrooms are spotlessly clean. Everything I love when I go to a restaurant. The owner, a petite woman, is always buzzing with energy and very cheerful. She greets her regulars with kisses, and clearly, there are many regulars. In less than half an hour, all the tables were taken. Good places are passed on by word of mouth... And besides, I say that small businesses that do a good job should be encouraged! So, go there! It's worth it! The dishes are homemade, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. One small but important detail: the menu is displayed on the paper menu you'll be given, but look around too! There are also small chalkboards on the walls offering other dishes! Keep your eyes peeled!

23/02/2026: The servers and the welcome were PERFECT. The star deducted in this area mainly concerns the wait time: almost an hour for a single course... As for the food, nothing to complain about, everything was delicious! Well done! However, there wasn't much on the plate, even the salad was quite small, which is a shame, especially since the plates are enormous, making this flaw noticeable quite quickly.

20/02/2026: We were cycling through the beautiful Pévèle countryside on a lovely summer Sunday when we happened to pass by the restaurant "Le Pavé Gourmand." The parking lot was full, and we were immediately struck by the place. We approached, and through the window, we could see a packed dining room. A few days later, we made a reservation, and finally, we were seated. The atmosphere was very warm, and we were instantly enveloped by the pleasant ambiance. The staff was very friendly, and we placed our order. A few moments later, we were completely blown away. The dishes were so original and refined that they left us speechless. Traditional cuisine where regional products are showcased with the chef's personal touch. A concise menu confirms that everything we ate was cooked fresh in the kitchen. Originality is the order of the day… Even the tiramisu would make our Italian friends blush… and I know what I'm talking about. Everything was perfect, worthy of a gourmet restaurant, if not more, with unbeatable value for money. It had been a long time since we'd found such a wonderful place. A huge thank you to this fantastic team. We've already made our next reservation.

15/02/2026: Very disappointed. Online reservation for Valentine's Day. To begin with, it wasn't mentioned anywhere that we wouldn't have access to the full menu. The set menu was very expensive for the portion size. Both courses included seafood. I asked for no crayfish sauce, but I received it anyway. I didn't send it back because we would have had to wait even longer. We had warned them to send the dessert quickly, but it still hadn't arrived after a 35-minute wait, despite the chef coming by several times and telling us it was on its way. We left, and the waitress kindly gave us a doggy bag with our desserts. EDIT: Judging by your response, it seems unfortunately that the criticism wasn't well received. The reservation was made via Google; therefore, the information regarding the set menu wasn't included. We're not the only ones in this situation; some customers left without eating for this reason. I also want to clarify that I never said there was "nothing on the plates," but simply that the price seemed high considering the portion sizes. Being "in a hurry" (and we were there for two hours) doesn't negate the right to dine at a restaurant; we were only asking for dessert to be served quickly. It's sometimes better to listen to feedback than to dismiss it. Finally, we also found ants in a glass, a point I hadn't initially mentioned. I'm simply sharing my experience; everyone can form their own opinion after reading the comments.
