31/03/2026: I came at lunchtime, as usual, to eat at Crocodile. It's alright, but the so-called manager, a young, dark-haired man with glasses, is clearly exhausted! He sits at a table between courses, and when it's time to pay, he's slumped over the cash register. I sincerely hope he's ill and that this isn't normal behavior, or perhaps it's some kind of hidden camera prank. He must be the owner's son to be kept on.

12/04/2026: We've been to this restaurant before, never had a problem until today when, due to a mishap (we forgot our credit card at home), the owner immediately called the police, claiming "the customers don't want to pay." This reaction was a bit disproportionate for such a flimsy pretext (petty theft?!). Especially since the problem was resolved a few minutes later—in the presence of law enforcement—with payment for the meal being made properly. We had called a relative to bring us the card, which he did immediately. Why go so far as to call the police? A little understanding and patience would have sufficed instead of treating us like dishonest people, which we weren't. It's simply shameful. We had previously apologized to the staff for the delay caused by the incident, but the owner wouldn't hear of it, as if we were going to run away to avoid paying less than one hundred euros... I've worked for a long time in contact with the public (travel guide and contributor to the Guide du Routard) and I've never encountered such rudeness, and I've been to many restaurants all over the world! We will never set foot in this establishment again after being treated so arbitrarily... I think some people should find another line of work... Apart from that, nothing to complain about except the food is okay and the waiters are absolutely charming...

12/12/2025: First visit to La Scène restaurant, and certainly not the last! I tried their guinea fowl stuffed with chestnuts for the first time: a real treat. The meat was perfectly cooked and tender, and the stuffing was very flavorful. The dish was generous and beautifully presented. Pleasant service and a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

14/12/2025: We were very disappointed by this so-called pub, which is anything but. The decor is downright creepy and the service incredibly slow. The menu is unappealing, hastily printed and stuffed into a plastic sleeve. As for the food, it's all reheated leftovers. In short, don't go!

29/03/2026: The staff are rude, disrespectful, and arrogant when you point out their lack of respect. And on top of that, the prices are outrageous. I hadn't been there in a long time, and I never will again. I can only advise you to go to another establishment; it's not like Lille doesn't have other restaurants with friendly staff, reasonable prices, and quality food (everything that's missing here, basically).
