22/01/2026: We came across Le Normandy on a bank holiday when many places nearby were closed. At first, I didn’t realise it was part of a hotel, as it looked more like a traditional restaurant or pub from the outside. There were four of us dining, and when we arrived the waiter mentioned a minimum spend for dining, which wasn’t an issue as we were planning to eat properly anyway. The menu was quite focused, with a small number of options, so we didn’t spend too long deciding. What stood out to me was a cold seafood platter, even though it was a chilly day. I went with that and it arrived as a large plate with a mix of seafood, including crab, prawns, mussels, and oysters. It was generous in size and easy to take time over. The others at the table chose warmer dishes, including a chicken dish with mashed potatoes. Inside, the space felt cosy and rustic, with lots of wood and a slightly old fashioned feel that suited the setting well. The waiter was friendly and took time to explain things, which we appreciated, especially as we were speaking English in France. I skipped dessert and finished with a coffee instead, and by the end it felt like an easy place to settle into for a relaxed meal.

31/01/2026: We were surprised, we always walked past it, and we were foolish because today we went in, drawn by the chalkboard on the sidewalk: a filet mignon express deal with a drink and a coffee. It was nicely presented, the fries were perfectly cooked, the salad was well-seasoned with lettuce, small cubes of tomato, and four pieces of filet mignon with a delicious sweet and savory sauce. Don't hesitate to go into this restaurant.

05/02/2026: The hotel is in need of a major renovation. It's very well located, a 5-minute drive from the sea. The rooms are large, with king-size beds. The staff is very friendly.

02/02/2026: APPALLING!!! The room was unsanitary, the hotel extremely noisy, and I sent emails of complaint to management. They justified it by saying I had been given a slightly lower price for the room, so it was "normal." Avoid this establishment.

23/02/2026: Honestly, this is the first time I've ever ordered anything from them, and it will definitely be the last! We ordered waffle fries and crispy chicken, but there was nothing crispy about them; everything was microwaved... Absolutely disgusting! Money down the drain!

04/01/2026: We just enjoyed an absolutely delicious galette des rois à la franchipane... Generously filled and truly flavorful. The cakes are excellent, but this galette deserves a special mention.

23/08/2025: I had booked for 3 people for my birthday on August 8th. I specified this on the booking, along with a request for a particular dessert, but there was absolutely nothing, not even a "Happy Birthday." Frankly, I was very disappointed.

07/03/2026: Expensive hotel for what it offers, old carpet that smells of stale tobacco, €75 without breakfast and €2.39 tourist tax!!!! Perhaps because there aren't many other options in the area! Avoid it anyway!

28/02/2026: The staff were very friendly, and the room was very clean. However, I was a little cold, and there was no way to adjust the heating, which was a shame. There was also a slightly unpleasant smell of tobacco in the hallway (it's not great if you don't smoke), but apart from that, I had a good stay.

11/01/2026: Very disappointed with the service and the handling of reservations. Yesterday (Saturday) at 3:30 pm, I called to order two galettes des rois (king cakes) for six people (frangipane and chocolate-hazelnut) for Sunday. I was told to call back the next day but assured they would have some. Today (Sunday morning) at 7:00 am, I called again when they opened: confirmation over the phone that the two galettes for six people had indeed been set aside. Upon arrival, I was told I would receive one galette for eight people and one for six people, as they were out of the frangipane for six… even though a sales assistant confirmed having sold two that very morning. The result: €7 more to pay, without any apology or gesture of goodwill, even though the error clearly came from the bakery. Very poor customer service. Especially considering the price of the galette!

27/12/2025: The Napoleon Yule Log needs improvement...!! The clementine mousse is barely present, the vanilla cream is barely there, the Grand Marnier cream is decent, but the shortbread biscuit is completely unsuitable for a Yule log as it's too difficult to cut with a spoon when eating and lacks any crispness....€38 for a 25cm Yule log with all these flaws....A bit pricey!

03/10/2025: A warm and unconditional welcome. The owner is a real joker who cracks joke after joke. A special mention goes to his Belgian accent (it's like being in Bruges!). Costume parties are a must-see in Le Touquet, with the folklore that characterizes the establishment. We love them, we go, and we come back! As the owner says: "Tata Yoyo les Copains"! A single word, a single gesture, and everything becomes magical at La Savane!

15/02/2026: Honestly, avoid this place. It's like a Flunch from another era, filthy. Someone defecated in the urinal and nobody seemed to care... not to mention the mess on the floor, the tables, and everything else! The staff was unwelcoming. I wanted a latte macchiato —> the machine was out of order. My partner ordered a Dame Blanche with ultra-liquid whipped cream, and the woman just pointed out that it was runny, but that's how it is. We wanted to take a short break after visiting Nausicaä... we should have stayed away.
