19/04/2026: We went there yesterday. The first time we ate there it was perfect (4 or 5 years ago), but this time... oh, it was different. The price wasn't as cheap as we expected. There was a price difference on the bill; we had to pay for something extra, but what can you do when it's full? Anyway, the portions weren't as generous as we'd hoped in the €24.90 stew.

18/04/2026: The only positive thing was the welcome, but the food was really bad. The fish (roasted cod) was incredibly bland, with no flavor whatsoever—no pepper, no salt, no marinade. There was also a bad smell from the seafood and fish. We really didn't enjoy our meal; it's not even worth it as a last resort.

02/05/2026: At Le Petit Marin Thirsty? Feeling a little peckish? Come to Le Petit Marin! The owner, his wife, and staff are very friendly. Their specialty? The Banana Split, a 2-scoop (sorry, 3-scoop) ice cream to eat alone or share with family or friends because it's really very generous! Long live Le Petit Marin's ice cream! 💪👏👏👏👏👏👏💪

02/03/2026: I wanted to congratulate Fabrik on the birthday cake for my daughter's 18th birthday on Saturday, February 28th. The cake decoration was exactly as I'd hoped. The cake was excellent! Thank you again! I highly recommend them.

12/02/2026: Since the change of ownership, I haven't been disappointed! I've also ordered from "Too Good To Go" and haven't been disappointed either! I don't understand some of the reviews!! Honestly, it's a great bakery, the owner is friendly and attentive!! I highly recommend it!!

07/04/2026: We had become accustomed to the distillery's high-quality service over the past few years. However, during our recent visit this past weekend, we were particularly disappointed. The two young waitresses made a series of mistakes: - the drinks menu wasn't provided - they reused the beer glass to pour the second beer - they removed the dessert plate before the end of the meal… We weren't the only ones to experience these inconveniences: - half a table had an order wrong - the steak tartare was prepared with long, fake nails (not very hygienic) - the coffee was served, and it overflowed into the saucer. To top it all off, the presence of Spotify and its background ads isn't exactly appropriate for the setting and only reinforces the amateurish nature of the service. It's a shame; after Robert 2, we've lost another great spot! Let's hope Vasco doesn't follow suit!

24/03/2026: The setting of this restaurant is truly magnificent, the decor is exquisite, and you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. Unfortunately, the service was completely inadequate. The waiter who served my table seemed utterly lost from beginning to end. First, there was a major mistake with my order: I was served the daily special (lamb shank) when I had specifically ordered cassoulet. Then, regarding the wine, he pretended to be knowledgeable and tried to advise us, but it was obvious he knew absolutely nothing. There's nothing wrong with being a beginner or not knowing something, but pretending is truly a shame. In short, a beautiful place, but a serious lack of front-of-house training. The second waiter was excellent; I must have just been unlucky! Anyway, the lamb shank was good.

23/12/2025: Brasserie not offering a brasserie service at lunchtime, very disappointing, too much noise inside due to the very limited space.

09/04/2026: We came for dinner this evening (April 9th). We received a very warm welcome, the waiter was excellent, and the meal was delicious from start to finish! We will definitely be back!

26/04/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. We came after the kite festival, and the quality was disappointing. The Welsh rarebits were very basic, with meager fillings and no presentation. The children's menu was served carelessly, and the desserts weren't homemade (the apple tart was still in its aluminum tray...). We had barely sat down when the main courses arrived before we'd even started our aperitifs, which really gave the impression of assembly-line cooking. For €60, we expected much better. We won't be back.

25/04/2026: The meal was bland; I got the impression the ingredients were really low quality. The fries weren't very good. And the Welch sandwich was made with a slice of white bread, not wholemeal bread. The kids' menu was expensive for what it was: the nuggets weren't great, and the applesauce wasn't good. In short, expensive for the quality of the food. The service was friendly, quick, and efficient.

03/04/2026: The shop is in a prime location. I bought croissants there yesterday and was really disappointed when I ate one. I was expecting a fresh croissant, enticingly fragrant, crisp, and delicious. That's exactly what I didn't get at this bakery. There are several reviews like this. Unfortunately, I read them too late. I won't be coming back either.

16/05/2026: An absolute disgrace. We have rarely been greeted with such disdain. The staff is unpleasant from beginning to end, giving the constant impression that we are bothering them by daring to eat there. When we pointed out that the dishes were inedible, the waitress literally sighed and pulled her head as if we were the problem. The famous "chicken supreme with Maroilles sauce" at €18 is an industrial disaster: cold chicken, undercooked skin, a rubbery and elastic texture, a dubious taste with a strong aftertaste of reheated food. The sauce was hot, but the rest of the dish was ice-cold… a classic microwave disaster. We sent the dishes back. They returned in less than five minutes, placed back on the table without us even knowing who had what. So yes, they were simply thrown in the microwave before being served again. And despite that, still just as bad. Honestly, just buy a chicken breast at the supermarket and make your own Maroilles cheese sauce: you'll eat 100 times better for a third of the price. To top it all off, a friend of mine got sick during the night after this meal. We decided to leave before dessert, the food was so awful. As for the man who calls himself the owner: haughty, arrogant, borderline rude, absurd stories… his bizarre behavior perfectly sums up the place. Keep walking. There are dozens of much better places to eat without feeling like you're bothering anyone or risking regretting your meal all night.

22/01/2026: We came across Le Normandy on a bank holiday when many places nearby were closed. At first, I didn’t realise it was part of a hotel, as it looked more like a traditional restaurant or pub from the outside. There were four of us dining, and when we arrived the waiter mentioned a minimum spend for dining, which wasn’t an issue as we were planning to eat properly anyway. The menu was quite focused, with a small number of options, so we didn’t spend too long deciding. What stood out to me was a cold seafood platter, even though it was a chilly day. I went with that and it arrived as a large plate with a mix of seafood, including crab, prawns, mussels, and oysters. It was generous in size and easy to take time over. The others at the table chose warmer dishes, including a chicken dish with mashed potatoes. Inside, the space felt cosy and rustic, with lots of wood and a slightly old fashioned feel that suited the setting well. The waiter was friendly and took time to explain things, which we appreciated, especially as we were speaking English in France. I skipped dessert and finished with a coffee instead, and by the end it felt like an easy place to settle into for a relaxed meal.

29/04/2026: What can I say? Ugh, very disappointing. I ordered a salad and half the container was empty. I called to explain the situation, knowing that I had one last week and was satisfied. And this time, they told me the portions were normal. I told them I was disappointed and that it didn't encourage me to come back. The response: "I'd love to see you again, but there's nothing I can do." No compensation offered. They don't care about their customers (I get a sandwich meal about every two weeks). Anyway, my habits will change. Goodbye Subway.

03/05/2026: I liked the restaurant; the dishes were good. I tried a regional specialty, but it's a shame that the sharing platter didn't include local cheese. I would have preferred local cheese.

06/05/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I had a terrible time at this place because of a disrespectful and rude customer who was extremely drunk and insulted the tourists. I was also very disappointed with the owners and staff, who seemed to prefer serving a drunkard rather than tourists.

05/05/2026: We stopped by for a drink, but a customer (a regular at the bar) insulted us… apparently a regular, so I wouldn't recommend going there. I'm forced to give it one star. It's a shame.
