17/06/2026: Drinks, crepes, waffles, ice cream—the perfect combination for a little break by the sea. Otherwise, this establishment is nothing special, except that they serve the delicious Anostéké beer.

20/05/2026: I really appreciate this friendly brasserie. Unbeatable value for money. The deviled eggs as a starter are a must. I'm looking forward to trying the special "Whit Monday" menu and I hope to have the chance to try the calf's head with gribiche sauce.... A rare and welcoming establishment.

07/07/2026: We had a wonderful meal at this excellent seafood restaurant! The place is elegant and the staff very friendly. We were even able to bring our cocker spaniel in, and one of the waitresses offered to bring him a bowl of water. Absolutely lovely! A place we will definitely return to.

02/07/2026: We came as a group with an agency from Le Havre. The day started off very well with a guided tour led by an exceptional gentleman who knew all the history of the magnificent cathedral and the Boulogne-sur-Mer town hall. Afterwards, we went to the restaurant "La Fleur de Sel," where another story began. We all arrived, went up the stairs opposite the entrance, and entered a rather ordinary room where two waitresses were waiting for us, their smiles barely concealed. We were seated, and the starter arrived immediately: a shallow ramekin presented as a crème brûlée. The top was sweet, and underneath was supposedly foie gras (we were trying to figure out what this foie gras tasted like). We devoured the starter in a minute. Then came the Flemish carbonnade, which on the plate consisted of two small pieces of meat and a ladleful of mashed potatoes (homemade, at least). Small portions, but it was good. Next came dessert: a slate with a mini apple, core removed, thankfully, and covered in a small amount of milk chocolate. The apple was very hard. The worst part is that when you pay for a day through an agency, everything is supposed to be included. But here, the aperitif was extra: €4.50 for a small glass of sparkling wine, without even asking what flavor you wanted, and the coffee at the end was also extra. It's outrageous! I definitely don't recommend this restaurant.

11/06/2026: Posts from 2025: As a big fan of Flemish carbonnade, I was very disappointed. The sauce was too strong, even sickening. I even asked the man at the next table what he thought, and he replied, "Well, not great, I've had better." We agreed. I mentioned it to the waiter, who passed the information on to the kitchen. They think they used too much gingerbread (to each their own, of course), and apparently, they threw it out to make more for the evening. And my husband's poutine had meat that was a bit dry. It wasn't our first time there, but this time we were very disappointed, and the service was very slow. We arrived before other people and were served after them. Anyway, apparently, the poutine took a long time to prepare. We ordered again this Sunday, June 7, 2026, for our daughter's 19th birthday with family (a table of 10). Everything was perfect, the only downside being, once again, the beef cheek (which resembles Flemish carbonnade) was too sweet. Chef, please taste your dishes more thoroughly before sending them out. Sorry, no photos this time; we had a phone-free meal ☺️

29/04/2026: The waiters and waitresses were very courteous. I recommend them.

25/04/2026: Avoid this café at all costs! The hygiene is deplorable, and the service and welcome are catastrophic. If you want to have a good time, definitely don't go to this café or brasserie! It was the worst experience we've had as a family with children in a very long time.

24/05/2026: The staff are really very friendly. We were received with great kindness.

26/03/2026: The place is clean and quite pleasant, but disappointing in terms of service, not to mention the wait for the meal. We ordered pizzas that didn't resemble pizzas at all; there was so much grated cheese on them that the waiter couldn't tell them apart. They should change the menu description. You can't call that pizza; it was very, very average and disappointing. We certainly won't be back.

17/02/2026: In the heart of the Channel, a restaurant with excellent cuisine and wine selection. Sometimes the dishes are a little too minimalist, but delicious and sure to make you dream. A very good Valentine's Day menu in a calm atmosphere.

04/06/2026: Very crowded, not always easy to find a seat! But the staff are welcoming!

31/05/2026: Going through the checkout with the family… the employee was anything but friendly and unhelpful!! (I'm not sure even the dishwashing sink could withstand that kind of disdain!) Two inedible rib-eye steaks, one prepared dish not served, explained three times that they were out of it, with no alternative offered other than "you'll have to go to the register." So much for the French language! So, back to the queue again, but be careful which register you went to the first time!! Otherwise, it doesn't work!! So, back to the queue again… to negotiate a new dish… pay for it and get a refund for the first one! Seriously?! Awful meal!! We know we don't come here for excellence. Luckily, the waitstaff were smiling. I didn't go there before, I know why now, and I'm happy to warn those who want to avoid such a punishment.

20/01/2026: A café like it should be: cheap and delicious coffee, friendly people, even though I didn't speak a word of French. I would definitely go back here again.

02/05/2026: Fast, tasty and affordable — exactly what you need after a long day of sightseeing. The atmosphere is really pleasant. Highly recommend!

15/04/2026: Great food at a reasonable cost. Hostess pleasant, friendly and helpful. Place is let down by its modern, cold decor which is somewhat uninviting. Mussels were great!

27/06/2026: The bar is nice in the evening, however, I paid for a drink I never received. The waiter told me I didn't want to pay, even though the payment went through to my account. If you want to be ripped off like that, go somewhere else. Apart from that, the atmosphere in the evening is good…

06/04/2026: A real gem! The food is absolutely excellent, with flavorful and generous dishes that make you want to come back again and again. The atmosphere is simply perfect: warm, friendly, and always lively, just the right amount. But the real highlight is the team: incredibly friendly, welcoming, always smiling, and attentive from start to finish. You truly feel right at home. Honestly, a must-visit, I recommend it without hesitation!
