23/03/2026: Sunday morning, having a drink in the sun at 4 am. And they refuse us a simple bowl of water for a chihuahua. Bravo. Classy.

05/03/2026: This afternoon, I decided to go for a drink with some friends at this bar. When we arrived, we waited a few minutes before a server came to see us, which can happen and isn't a problem in itself. After finishing my drink, I went to the counter to pay. A waitress then told me, in a rather annoyed tone, that I needed the receipt to pay. So I went back to the table to get it. As I turned around, I heard the waitress (whose nickname, from what I gathered, was "Mag") say to another server, "She thinks I can tell what she's been drinking just by looking at her face." I then went back with the receipt, paid, and left. I find this kind of remark inappropriate and unprofessional. It's perfectly acceptable to explain a rule to a customer without making comments like that. A rather disappointing experience.

02/05/2026: The welcome is subjective because the staff is unpleasant (we feel like we are "too much" and I quote "there will be too many customers, which would be a problem" when we ask to eat on the terrace - avoid if you want to have a good day.

11/05/2026: I really like the place and go there every time I’m in the area Its mainstay offering is flammekuche, a kind of French pizza originally from Alsace The food ‘is what it is’. It’s not fine dining, but it’s generally good enough and seriously well served Staff are friendly, polite and professional. The atmosphere is lovely and whist there is music but , main ‘noise’ just the pleasant sound of conversation Just be careful if you wonder away from the flammkuche - I ordered carbonnade and it was by far the worst I’ve ever had.

02/05/2026: A mixed experience. The welcome was excellent, the servers very kind and attentive. The food, however, was not good at all. Prices were quite high considering what was on the plate.

27/04/2026: I used to really like this restaurant, but I've noticed a radical change. The service is fairly good, although you can tell they're rushing, maybe even too rushing. As for the food, it's just catastrophic... I couldn't even finish half my meal.

26/03/2026: The place is clean and quite pleasant, but disappointing in terms of service, not to mention the wait for the meal. We ordered pizzas that didn't resemble pizzas at all; there was so much grated cheese on them that the waiter couldn't tell them apart. They should change the menu description. You can't call that pizza; it was very, very average and disappointing. We certainly won't be back.

21/03/2026: A beautifully decorated restaurant. The food is excellent, the menu is varied, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. We'll be back!

15/04/2026: Great food at a reasonable cost. Hostess pleasant, friendly and helpful. Place is let down by its modern, cold decor which is somewhat uninviting. Mussels were great!

17/02/2026: In the heart of the Channel, a restaurant with excellent cuisine and wine selection. Sometimes the dishes are a little too minimalist, but delicious and sure to make you dream. A very good Valentine's Day menu in a calm atmosphere.

10/05/2026: I love going there because it's welcoming, the staff are friendly, smiling, and very attentive. You can have coffee and pastries while working in peace. I highly recommend it.

18/05/2026: Avoid at all costs. The hygiene of the premises and the owners is appalling. The old folks are worn out; you need to stop! Unacceptable.

14/05/2026: I often get my fries from this chip shop and I've never been disappointed. Until tonight… A piece of plastic was found in my hamburger and the other burgers. Cold hamburgers… I'm very disappointed because I used to give this chip shop a lot of praise…

28/04/2026: Unfortunately, the fish was overcooked in the pan, the mussels were okay, the fries were small and greasy, we only got one glass each of wine and water, and the coffee we ordered with dessert arrived later. In short, we won't be back.

27/04/2026: A nightmare! The service was incredibly slow and unpleasant; you need to have plenty of time and not be hungry. Luckily, the food wasn't bad! I won't be going back!

09/05/2026: We came to try Le Calice after its reopening following the change of ownership, and what a pleasant surprise! We had a wonderful time: a very warm welcome, quick and attentive service—the servers really made sure everything ran smoothly. The dishes were delicious and high-quality, with clearly well-chosen ingredients. The decor is also very well done, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We can't wait to come back and enjoy the terrace this summer! I highly recommend this place! 👍
