16/09/2025: 10-12 mins from Calais port. Checkin at 1.30am no problem. The reception was polite and friendly. Room was as expected. Basic, clean and comfortable. Ideal for a stop over after a long drive from the UK. Continental breakfast served from 6am to about 10am was good. Even the cool pancakes were tasty. No cooked breakfast. Free parking available but spaces are limited and some bays are slim. Highly recommend this place for a night stop over.

28/12/2025: Kitchen Nightmare!!
I'm giving it one star because there's no way to give less. We ordered two capons that were raw inside. We obviously didn't finish them for fear of food poisoning.
The dish was completely unseasoned. The waiter took our cutlery from the appetizer to the main course. The service was interminable (nearly two hours for the appetizer, main course, and dessert).
In short, run away while you still can!! This was our worst experience in a restaurant supposedly located in a 4-star hotel...

10/12/2025: My worst restaurant experience ever. Inedible pizzas, a strange smell from the pasta, undercooked fries, and a bad Arras andouillette sausage (which is rare!). Luckily, we didn't get sick, but we were definitely not at ease after this disastrous meal. Avoid this place at all costs; Philippe Etchebest should pay it a visit for a kitchen nightmare!
26/11/2025: Avoid this bar! Service until 1 am? The opening hours need to be reviewed; it's misleading. The atmosphere is like a betting shop.
I won't be going back, not twice.
It's a shame because the bar looked quite nice from the outside.

The quantity of fries is paltry. The cheeseburger has barely cooked meat, tough bread, lettuce, and roughly chopped tomatoes.
Friday shop for Parisians.
Nothing like a Belgian fries shop.
Avoid, it's better to eat a homemade sandwich...

Aperol Spritz cocktail = water, no taste, Picon beer = just beer 😵💫
Decent starters, some guests got their main course with mashed potatoes and cold vegetables?!
Deserts served even though the plates weren't completely cleared....
Despite everything, the waitresses kept smiling 👏 too bad for them because they've heard all the criticism.
No positive communication for this restaurant.

You're forced to spend a minimum of €10 to pay by card. Customers are waiting at the games and they're being ignored!
They prioritize the owner's friends over the customers.
A coffee was served and spilled on the table by one of the new waitresses.
Anyway. In short, it's unacceptable.

26/10/2025: A reservation in August for the weekend of 10/31/25 to 11/2/25 for my husband's birthday and this Thursday the hotel calls us to cancel our reservation due to a boiler problem. I ask him if he has an alternative solution because it is a school holiday weekend and a football match so the surrounding hotel is full, he tells me no! I find myself without a solution a week before our departure the only response I got from them is be glad I let you know. I will never come to your hotel!!!
26/10/2025: I do not recommend this hotel at all.
We stayed there last night (October 25-26).
No heating, no hot water, and a dismal breakfast. We had a memorable night 😡
No apologies, no gestures, just a vulgar "I'll take note."
If you're looking for a place to sleep well and take a shower, you're in the wrong place; move on.

02/05/2024: I showed up today, May 2, at the garden center checkout at 5:30 p.m., this Auchan Calais is becoming a real nonsense...... Already the last time I was invited to go to the quick checkout yuck, intervention by the cashiers result double manipulation at 1 p.m., I am told yes but at that time (there is a reboot) 3/4 hours blocked. today the cashier had to prepare a floral arrangement, Ditto..... A queue not possible , customers who ask for a cashier, and people who get angry, and they leave their Cady an impossible tension. I am surprised to see Auchan behave like this. Very sincerely I will think about changing direction regarding this Auchan Calais, anyway today 30 minutes with kilos on my arms (yes I had not planned to buy that much)
I am really disappointed, no respect for the customer

31/08/2024: Extrêmement bruyant dans une salle non climatisée ..nous avions commander de la viande saignante , nous avons été servi (au bout de 30 minutes je précise !) de la viande immangeable car trop cuite 🤮 de la semelle de chaussure ....! Dans la salle il y avait du sable, laisse a penser qu'elle était a peine laver .....beurk horrible je ne recommande vraiment pas ce restaurant de chaîne et je n'y retournerai jamais
