04/08/2024: La Renardière est un petit restaurant niché dans le village de Gauchin. Il fait aussi bar et débit de tabac.
La patronne est extrêmement gentille et reçoit ses clients dans une salle spacieuse et agréable avec vue sur un très beau jardin (une terrasse est d'ailleurs disponible si le temps le permet). On soigne bien les clients et on pense confort : nappes et serviettes en tissus rappelant le satin, chemins de table.
Nous avons mangé en entrée : deux ficelles picardes au Maroilles et terrine, en plat burger Maroilles, carbonnade et poutine gallinéçoise et pour finir, un trio de panna cotta. Le tout pour un peu plus de 80€ à trois avec deux boissons.
Des plats maison et frais, un accueil chaleureux et un cadre très agréable. Tout était parfait !

20/07/2024: Very disappointed with the wedding meal as well as the service in the dining room, meals served cold and nothing to do with the test meal which had been served a few months before to validate this one plates and with canteen presentation no replacement cheese served without replacing the cutlery etc. for the arrival of the cake the disaster waitress who cannot open the door not to mention the wine of honor no waitress in the room their speeches not passing sorry that and your problem you are a waitress right? 03/04/2024: This restaurant deserves to be discovered by more people! Its ideal location, just 50m from Blériot Sangatte beach, makes it easy to access with convenient parking.
The interior of the restaurant is nicely simple, offering an elegant and pleasant setting. The story of the two chefs, who poured their hearts and souls into this business five years ago, is inspiring. The fact that the chef is now in the dining room and his second in command is in charge in the kitchen is testament to their passion and dedication.
The menu, although short, highlights fresh, quality products. Our culinary experience last night, with scallops accompanied by a chorizo, parmesan and asparagus risotto, was a real delight! And let's not even talk about the lemon tiramisu for dessert, a real favorite.
The cuisine is authentic and sincere, far from the artifice often encountered in the dining room. However, a slight downside could be the absence of an elegant and smiling female presence in the room.
In summary, we highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning. Many thanks for this gastronomic experience!
