31/05/2026: The service was far too slow, which is a shame. I didn't find the same quality as a few years ago; it's nothing like it was.

16/05/2026: We weren't offered the daily menu, we were asked what we wanted for an aperitif without being shown the menu, the requested carafe of water wasn't brought back, and the wine was served in water glasses, which weren't very clean. Several waitresses at our table kept repeating "no problem." The owner had come to eat with his daughter in the dining room: he had no manners, saying hello to some without having a conversation and not saying hello to others, not even introducing himself. Amateurish service, like a training restaurant. The decor has never changed; it's stuck in the past. It lacks modernization. It lacks warmth. There's not enough space between the tables. (In fact, only the tables have changed in the last four years.) The petit fours arrived a good five minutes after the coffee... I expected better. Judging by the other comments, it's clear they've been turning a blind eye at the distillery for a long time. What a shame. It's disheartening! They only want the money and don't put in any effort; even the garden and courtyard aren't very clean (it's not like they're going to be that bad), and there's junk lying around in the tall grass. I don't recommend it.

19/04/2026: April 19th, 4 PM, tobacco shop closed. It's a real shame to have two tobacco shops and both be closed at the same time. Check their opening hours on Google because it says they're open.

21/03/2026: Hello, a few details to consider: It's no longer a 24-hour gas station and closes early on Saturdays before 8 PM. Otherwise, everything else is perfect.

22/01/2026: We came across Le Normandy on a bank holiday when many places nearby were closed. At first, I didn’t realise it was part of a hotel, as it looked more like a traditional restaurant or pub from the outside. There were four of us dining, and when we arrived the waiter mentioned a minimum spend for dining, which wasn’t an issue as we were planning to eat properly anyway. The menu was quite focused, with a small number of options, so we didn’t spend too long deciding. What stood out to me was a cold seafood platter, even though it was a chilly day. I went with that and it arrived as a large plate with a mix of seafood, including crab, prawns, mussels, and oysters. It was generous in size and easy to take time over. The others at the table chose warmer dishes, including a chicken dish with mashed potatoes. Inside, the space felt cosy and rustic, with lots of wood and a slightly old fashioned feel that suited the setting well. The waiter was friendly and took time to explain things, which we appreciated, especially as we were speaking English in France. I skipped dessert and finished with a coffee instead, and by the end it felt like an easy place to settle into for a relaxed meal.

03/04/2026: The shop is in a prime location. I bought croissants there yesterday and was really disappointed when I ate one. I was expecting a fresh croissant, enticingly fragrant, crisp, and delicious. That's exactly what I didn't get at this bakery. There are several reviews like this. Unfortunately, I read them too late. I won't be coming back either.

20/03/2026: Lovely bakery. Friendly welcome. The "traditional" baguette was a bit disappointing.

06/06/2026: The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the wait time was short (approximately 25 minutes for 3 menus). I highly recommend this establishment; you won't be disappointed!

30/05/2026: We ordered two pizzas and a side. Everything arrived cold. The "Cannibal" pizza was clearly leftover, not fresh from the previous evening, and had no flavor. As for the goat cheese and honey pizza, we searched for the taste of cheese and honey, and we're still looking. And the hard cheese balls were cold and tasteless... Disappointing for what they were.

22/11/2025: Excellent food, a real treat. The €35 set menu is perfect with several choices. Generous portions.

23/08/2025: I had booked for 3 people for my birthday on August 8th. I specified this on the booking, along with a request for a particular dessert, but there was absolutely nothing, not even a "Happy Birthday." Frankly, I was very disappointed.

17/05/2026: Absolutely terrible, impersonal welcome and service. It took over two hours for a meal for a party of five, and the restaurant was far from full 😓 The food was completely uninspired… Avoid at all costs!!!!!

12/07/2026: Good evening, I just got back from Flunch on July 11, 2026, where I had all-you-can-eat mussels. A word of advice if you're thinking of going: be patient because there was a 15-minute wait for the mussels, and then another wait for the fries. Plus, it was incredibly hot. Frankly, I'm not ready to go back. And I'm being kind, but I think that one starter (mixed vegetables with egg), one glass of melon, one full chicken breast, one plate of mussels with Roquefort cheese, one small bottle of water, and one small bottle of Badoit mineral water... well, it's expensive! 47 euros for two people without dessert. I'll go somewhere else.

07/07/2026: Good, but some vegetables were cooked better (peas and beans), and there were fewer fried options than at other Flunch restaurants (no noisette potatoes). Otherwise, the hostess was great 😉

30/04/2026: The setting is nice, yes. But apart from that, everything else is a failure. No service worth mentioning: no toothbrush, very few amenities, no shuttle, and a location 3 km from the center that quickly becomes a problem when nothing is provided to compensate. But the worst part is the soundproofing, or rather, its complete lack thereof. You can hear absolutely everything, constantly: the slightest noise in the hallway, conversations in neighboring rooms, footsteps upstairs… absolutely everything. Sleeping in this hotel is a feat. A hotel is supposed to be a place of rest; here, it's the complete opposite. We endured a wedding with intoxicated guests: shouting, slamming doors, coming and going all night long. The result: a sleepless night. At €350 a night, it's simply outrageous. And as if that weren't enough, customer service is nonexistent. A manager was supposed to call us back on Monday: no call. We called again on Tuesday, they promised Wednesday: nothing. We called again on Wednesday, they mentioned Thursday: still nothing. At this point, it's not just an oversight, it's pure and simple contempt. We clearly feel like we're being treated like walking wallets. This establishment is completely unworthy of the reputation it claims to uphold.

01/07/2026: A warm welcome, delicious and satisfying food. We appreciated the atmosphere and the peaceful setting. The waitress was excellent. We returned the next day. Just as good and delicious as before.

23/06/2026: Friendly but inexperienced staff: The champagne was served warm without any accompanying accompaniment, and after 10 minutes, at my request, the bottle was plunged into an ice bucket. The Chablis I ordered by the glass was impossible to identify... However, the bouillabaisse was excellent, rich in aromatics, with salmon and cod. Unfortunately, there was no haddock.

11/01/2026: Very disappointed with the service and the handling of reservations. Yesterday (Saturday) at 3:30 pm, I called to order two galettes des rois (king cakes) for six people (frangipane and chocolate-hazelnut) for Sunday. I was told to call back the next day but assured they would have some. Today (Sunday morning) at 7:00 am, I called again when they opened: confirmation over the phone that the two galettes for six people had indeed been set aside. Upon arrival, I was told I would receive one galette for eight people and one for six people, as they were out of the frangipane for six… even though a sales assistant confirmed having sold two that very morning. The result: €7 more to pay, without any apology or gesture of goodwill, even though the error clearly came from the bakery. Very poor customer service. Especially considering the price of the galette!

27/12/2025: The Napoleon Yule Log needs improvement...!! The clementine mousse is barely present, the vanilla cream is barely there, the Grand Marnier cream is decent, but the shortbread biscuit is completely unsuitable for a Yule log as it's too difficult to cut with a spoon when eating and lacks any crispness....€38 for a 25cm Yule log with all these flaws....A bit pricey!

10/07/2026: I just went by 17 minutes ago (9:30 PM), and I was refused entry due to an exceptional closure. I'm across the street every evening, and every evening they close early. Someone is currently being served; it's 9:48 PM. But no problem, since it seems to be a friend of the servers. Avoid this restaurant.
