From the outside, a rather unassuming restaurant with formica tables, bright lights, and table mats from a local men's wear shop - inside, you are met with a friendly smile, magnificent dishes, and an atmosphere where you just want to spend the whole evening. The place is run as a 3-woman band, and they are efficient, competent, great cooks and staff - the menu holds classiques as well as new dishes, I had a perfectly cooked cod (not easy to cook) on a bed of bright and colourful vegetables, my husband his favourite riz de veau, cooked to perfection (not easy either). We would love to come back!
25/08/2024: I reserved a table for a romantic dinner and we spent a very good evening on the terrace 🙂 the menu is small (so we immediately have the assurance that everything is carefully homemade!) and there is a choice and of variety. The staff is very friendly and we had a great time.

20/09/2024: Nice little restaurant in the center of Besse. Located on a square with a pretty fountain in front, the terrace will offer you an atmosphere of calm and well-being. If the weather is not good, the interior is just as warm. You will be welcomed by competent and pleasant staff, you will eat very well, the dishes are good, beautiful and generous. Finally, all this for a more than reasonable price.
In short, my friends and I have been going there many times for motorcycle outings and we will continue to enjoy this establishment which deserves to be known.

02/08/2024: A small inn that doesn't look much from the outside. Inside, a simple and original decoration.
We had a great time, there were two of us.
The man who looked after us was very helpful and kind. When I said that I didn't eat meat, he offered me a mix of accompaniments for the dishes and for the tastings he gave us one side without meat and the other without. It was very nice.
The quality of the cuisine was excellent, you can see that it is home-cooked and with passion.
Thank you for everything.

Atypical restaurant
First for us this type of Restaurant with jazz atmosphere it's super pleasant
As for the top cuisine, the convivial truffade where everyone eats in the mm casserole, it's excellent
We enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere.
17/08/2024: Super petit restaurant en toute simplicité où nous avons pris un dîner. L'hambuger était un pur délice et les frites une tuerie.
La truffade était bonne .
Le patron et le personnel sont vraiment serviables et sympathiques même aux petits soins.
Il vaut la peine de s'y arrêter

20/08/2024: Globalement très déçus, par rapport à la recommandation qui nous avait été faite !
L’emplacement en terrasse devant une ouverture de sous sol remplie de mégots.
Nous avons pris un apéritif tout à fait classiquement.
Pour le plat il n’y avait plus de poulet d,Auvergne alors qu’il n’était pas 20h !
J’ai alors voulu opter pour du cabillaud risotto à l’encre de seiche, bah non, c’est au curry ce soir…
Les plats sont bons, mais plutôt juste en quantité.
L’addition, c’est au comptoir ! Poli et expéditif !

Tomates pas mûres, sauce aux poivres que je cherche encore et alors le dessert pêche rôti sablé breton.....je ne sais même pas si ça vaut le coup d'en parler...

04/09/2024: A restaurant that I visit regularly, unfortunately the kitchen has changed the chef and part. And this is felt on the plates, I'm not saying on everything but there is a big improvement to be made. Some dishes need to be cooked a little better (gourmet salad etc.... I will try it again in a while if that doesn't change. I won't be going back.
