15/05/2026: A huge thank you and congratulations to Tiphaine at reception who calmly, patiently, logically, with a smile and a touch of humor, managed the disorganization of a group of nearly 80 people for several nights in a row, ensuring everyone had a room to sleep in safely. Beyond her professionalism, she demonstrated great compassion. The hotel is close to the Zenith concert hall, the rooms are very clean and quite comfortable. No complaints whatsoever :)

14/05/2026: A very attentive team. Pets are welcome, even in the restaurant. Breakfast features quality local products. Well done!

14/04/2026: The only bakery in the village was open, but in three days we couldn't get any bread. Once it was closed even though the sign said it was open; the second time, the baker had finished her till and still had bread, but refused to sell it to us; and finally, the third time, the bakery was open but had run out of bread by noon. It's a disaster, and on top of that, the staff isn't friendly.

14/04/2026: Dry baguette, no pleasure in eating.

08/08/2026: Very disappointed, not by the meal... because there wasn't one. We've been several times before and everything has always gone well despite the crowds... And then this! We arrive, are seated, and wait patiently (I should point out that there weren't many people there). Other people arrive... and we're still waiting... And then the young man starts taking orders from the people who arrived after us... Not wanting to cause a scene, we left. This person clearly doesn't know how to run a restaurant.

24/07/2026: We were disappointed. We were served three croissants. I asked if they could exchange a defective croissant (see photo) for a normal one. The manager, Ms. Monier, told me a croissant is a croissant. The cleanliness was appalling. They weren't wearing gloves. Avoid this place; it's filthy. They handle the money and serve you afterward. She told me she couldn't take it back because she had touched it. The croissant was as hard as concrete. It ended up in the trash.

22/02/2026: What a surprise to find ourselves back in the 1990s! Nothing has changed. Same decor, same bathroom. It's high time they brought it up to date. As for the food, it was bland. The buildings are in a deplorable state. It's a shame, but we won't be returning to the Campanile.

18/02/2026: A stay at the Campanile in Thiers followed a certain internal logic. The bathroom was marred by visible mold on the walls, grout, and behind the towels, creating a constantly damp atmosphere. While the bathroom did have heating, its switch moved freely and wasn't connected to anything, rendering any attempt to turn it on futile, even in cold weather. Overall, this demonstrates a particularly questionable level of maintenance and consideration for guest comfort. Not recommended.

14/09/2026: We were ripped off, just like other tourists. The aligot was barely lukewarm when it was served. I sent it back to the kitchen, but it clearly wasn't appreciated. The quality of the ingredients is definitely lacking. A tourist trap! I really don't recommend it.

14/09/2026: A very bad experience. I had ordered a regional specialty, and my partner had too: truffade and aligot. The truffade looked like it had been ladled out and was far too greasy and sickening. As for the aligot, the cheese they used was clearly very low quality because it was tasteless. Furthermore, both dishes arrived cold. We had to ask them to take them back. We didn't risk ordering dessert! Avoid this restaurant! You shouldn't be able to ruin regional specialties like that.

12/09/2026: Cinnamon rolls are simply delicious

31/08/2026: In a charming little bakery just steps from the train station, I enjoyed a wonderfully buttery pain au chocolat. It reminded me of the bakery in my village. The bread looked delicious too, with plenty of choice. Next time, I'll be back to try their croissants.

08/08/2026: Disgusting! I ate a chicken burger, and for the past two days I've been nauseous and very sick. I can't swallow anything anymore. Don't go there!

30/06/2026: Avoid at all costs! I ordered a chicken sandwich and they gave me a regular kebab. When I told them it wasn't chicken and that they needed to stop lying, the staff (it must have been the manager, judging by their attitude) started getting angry, saying, "If it's not chicken, what is it? Camel?" Absolutely no respect for customers!
