29/07/2024: Beyond excellent mussels with piquillios, everything is to be reviewed in this restaurant in which we ate with my friend last week. Disastrous service: more than an hour of waiting for two poor plates ordered as soon as we arrived, we then had to beg for napkins which we have never had at this time, a carafe which we are still waiting for too... we can be thirsty ...servers at the end of their tether who share their bad mood by blaming their machine. “We’re going to go back to pencil and paper,” said one of those who appeared to be a room manager. Despite the gourmet coffee offered to try to catch up after 2 hours spent at the table, we will not return to this restaurant, nor to its toilets, where mosquitoes and flies live, drowned in a bath of urine, in the depths of the kitchen. Better than I expected: -the large comfortable bed -the very large bathroom (suitable for people with disabilities) - Diversified savory and sweet breakfast in buffet style - The calm of the hotel - Very pleasant staff who gave us advice for our hike on the GR 10 the next day and for taking the bus to the beach to visit the same evening -the personalization of the hotel: in the bathroom there was a little note to say the name of the person who prepared the room and at breakfast the name of the person who prepared Cons: I searched a lot, I found nothing. Maybe a small fridge would be a plus.

06/07/2024: Bonjour, je constate que le ravitaillement en pain aux alentours de midi reste à désirer, je suis un familier de cette boulangerie mais cela fait 3 fois que je suis obligé de me rendre à la boulangerie Rue Gambetta . Les vendeuses de la Boulangerie des Halles ne peuvent peut être pas jouer sur l'anticipation ??.

15/09/2024: L'intérêt est l'emplacement face à la plage. Pour cela il faut réserver. Autrement dans la moyenne. 90 € pour 2 vin et café compris.

07/09/2024: Je recommande le menu à 22euros qui est correct avec une entrée plat et dessert ce restaurant a une jolie vue sur mer pour admirer le coucher de soleil.

21/09/2024: We had an excellent meal in Chez Eugenie . We had a table at the window which overlooked the promenade and Grand Plage, stunning. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, very helpful and had excellent English. Our food was hot and we were not rushed during the meal. The price which included wine was very good. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

19/09/2024: The aperitives are good but they arrive a long time before the tapas. We appreciated the sea view as requested but some plates are better than others. The sea bream wasn't really tasty but the meat was very well cooked. Well, the overall is good but so so.

19/09/2024: Pleasant welcome, the service is relatively fast. the place alone is worth the trip. This part concerns the adjoining Petit Suisse. The tapas are excellent as are the oysters.

19/08/2024: Definitely don't go there, unworthy of the Basque country and its values. A sandwich for 6 euros with 2 sausages in a poor piece of bread with nothing in it, reheated frozen pizza, paninis without any flavor. It's a shame to have such little consideration for the people who come to discover this magnificent region. A service full of hypocrisy with a boss who gets up just to raise one. Barrier to make people pay 10 euros to enter their private car park even though there are enough places to park just a stone's throw away. You are the shame of the Basque country and its culinary culture. In a snack bar we don't expect gastronomy, we know that, but you have exceeded everything that could be envisaged in terms of poor quality. This comment is sincere and true, this establishment should no longer operate because it simply harms the happiness that this superb ascent to the top of the Rhune provides us.

19/08/2024: N y aller surtout pas , indigne du pays basque et de ses valeurs.Unlsandwich a 6 euros avec 2 saucisses dans un pauvre morceau de pain avec rien dedans,pizza surgelé rechauffé,paninis sans aucunes saveurs. C est une honte d avoir aussi peu de considération pour les personnes qui viennent découvrir cette magnifique région.Un service rempli d hypocrisie avec un patron qui se lève juste pour lever une. Barrière pour faire payer des gens 10 euros l entrée de son parking privé alors qu il y a assez de places pour pouvoir se garer a 2 pas. Vous êtes la honte du pays basque et de sa culture culinaire. Dans un snack on attend pas de la gastronomie on le sait mais la vous avez dépassé tous ce qui peut être envisageable en matière de mauvaises qualité . Ce commentaire est sincère et vrai ,cet établissement ne devrait plus exercer car il nuit tout simplement au bonheur que n' ous procure cette superbe ascension en haut de la rhune.

25/08/2024: Notre bar préféré à Biarritz ! Compromis parfait qui propose à la fois des cocktails délicieux (on conseille vivement le basil smash, un délice!) et une ambiance de fou avec des dj sets qui varient chaque soir ; le bar de la plage ravira autant les amateurs d’electro (surtout house) que de rnb, hip-hop ou pop selon la soirée. On regrette juste que ça doive fermer à 2h parce qu’on y aurait bien passé la nuit ;) Les barmans sont par ailleurs très sympas et souriants malgré les rushs qu’ils se prennent. Bref, on vous conseille de tester la team

15/08/2024: As soon as you walk in there, the saleswoman makes you not want to buy... she talks to you like an animal... but what is this person doing behind a counter..!??? As for the Basque cake, well we were disappointed, very little cream and the next day it was even worse, didn't keep well. Too bad all that because the place is very pretty, charming.

12/08/2024: Very disappointed, not by the quality of the products, but by the deplorable reception of a saleswoman, a priori responsible, in a hurry, disdainful and unpleasant! Not to mention the impossibility of being able to pay by card, unless you are at Crédit Agricole! It's difficult to defend craftsmanship and be so dependent on a bank!
