29/07/2024: Not only is the place closed but also the owner takes the liberty of reprimanding us while knowingly asserting that it is our fault if the site is not up to date. In addition, the dog allows himself to add more by barking greedily at it like a madman. What we perceived as a verbal, physical, moral and psychological aggression which we will have extreme difficulty getting past. This was not enough, we were appalled by the exorbitant price of a simple Coca Cola 3.50 (taxes included) these 3€ too much would be justified by the very opening of the drink. To put an end to this ordeal of remembering this unforgettable experience that we would have preferred to forget, I would add that the only reason to give 1 star is the sole fact that we cannot give 0.

15/09/2024: Taking the slow, pretty route from Bayonne into Spain we came across the delightful village of Ainhoa, listed as one of Les plus Beau Villages de France - and rightly so. In need of a coffee we sat outside at Cafe Ezkurra, which is by the church, and enjoyed tasty coffee and friendly service.

01/09/2024: Quick visit to the rooftop after several years without a visit to the hotel. Smell of sewage, disgusting toilets in the bar... the view doesn't make up for everything. I will go my way from now on

31/08/2024: The place is rather ugly, the floor, the tables, everything is ugly, poorly maintained, impersonal, not at all welcoming. We don't want to linger there and even less want to come back.

14/09/2024: Nous sommes mal tombés visiblement . Pourtant le pigeon proposé par le serveur était bien tentant mais il nous est arrivé à peine chaud ( " à cause du vent"...). Quant à la planche de fromages pour 2 facturée 12 € , c'est tout simplement une arnaque . Pas très professionnel tout cela , pas très aimable non plus . La clientèle des retraités de passage ne doit pas être traitée ainsi , elle fait aussi vivre ceux qui se disent restaurateurs . Nous passerons au large la prochaine fois , de ce restaurant , pas du coquet village .

04/09/2024: Super soirée, je recommande, nous avons eu une serveuse magnifique, souriante, très efficace et je dirais même rigolote 🙂, il me semble qu’elle s’appelait Anna, bravo à elle et aux cuistots !

15/09/2024: The dishes do not live up to what we expected from the menu. The entrance not hot enough. The meat was not of high quality. In conclusion it is not worth the 130 euros spent.

29/08/2024: A place to eat simply, the quality of the meals is relative to their price. For years the dishes have been the same so no surprises, but it meets a request. Concerning the welcome which is the subject of criticism, it is rather sober but courteous, as much as the arrogant behavior of certain tourists who settle in and leave without ordering...everything is explained.

19/07/2024: Since COVID, the tacos are less garnished and fried less well. Too bad it was my favorite meal..

11/09/2024: Small break around 2 p.m. to get a little hungry. I had a delicious squid salad, my husband, a bergère plate, good but not extraordinary. The service is very attentive and responsive despite our arrival time for lunch. The only downside is the noise from the nearby road.

26/08/2024: Great discovery of this restaurant in Saint Jean Pied de Port. Friendly welcome despite the local festivals. There was an oversight in our order but the owner came to offer us an extra starter so that the forgotten person didn't feel alone when eating 🙏 Good value for money Good continuation, we will come back with pleasure
