15/09/2024: Taking the slow, pretty route from Bayonne into Spain we came across the delightful village of Ainhoa, listed as one of Les plus Beau Villages de France - and rightly so.
In need of a coffee we sat outside at Cafe Ezkurra, which is by the church, and enjoyed tasty coffee and friendly service.
09/09/2024: Sympa cordiales honnête...seul petit bémol Impossible de les joindre ...pas de téléphone... après un oubli de porte monnaie.. bien récupéré le lendemain

01/09/2024: Quick visit to the rooftop after several years without a visit to the hotel. Smell of sewage, disgusting toilets in the bar... the view doesn't make up for everything. I will go my way from now on
31/08/2024: The place is rather ugly, the floor, the tables, everything is ugly, poorly maintained, impersonal, not at all welcoming. We don't want to linger there and even less want to come back.

Pastries in the sun even if they are refrigerated, perhaps I should not have noticed them during my visit🤔
In addition, no respect for the people who take the trouble to travel to apply and do a test.
As no response from the manager despite my 2 reminders, I leave this notice to let people know the lack of humanity that reigns there... no wonder the salespeople do not stay.
For my part, I was not a customer but I know that will never be the case.

22/09/2024: Nice little atmosphere in this restaurant resembling a chalet. It's warm, you feel good there. We priced starters and mains for a low price, and we were not disappointed. The team is very nice. It's also a bakery, you can buy bread and pastries there. You can eat both outside and on the terrace.

Service très long , nous sommes arrivés à 12h40 et reparti péniblement à 15h

Thon trop cuit servi avec une purée qui baigne dans l huile
Un crumble qui est de la pomme chaude avec dessus du croustillant
Nous n avions pas terminé notre repas que déjà on s activait pour recharger les frigos qui sont dans la salle pour les eaux minérales
J ai failli me lever avant la fin du repas pour partir mais nous étions 3 couples
La veille le restaurant était réservé pour un mariage qui a du se finir tard expliquant peux être le peu d amabilité du personnel …
Vit manifestement sur sa réputation passée

The welcome, the kindness, the service, the starter, the main course, the dessert, nothing to say.

16/07/2024: I only tasted the burgers which are very nice, good meatloaf, nice and not overcooked and home fries. Little plus: fast service and very clean premises.

14/09/2024: Nous sommes mal tombés visiblement . Pourtant le pigeon proposé par le serveur était bien tentant mais il nous est arrivé à peine chaud ( " à cause du vent"...).
Quant à la planche de fromages pour 2 facturée 12 € , c'est tout simplement une arnaque .
Pas très professionnel tout cela , pas très aimable non plus .
La clientèle des retraités de passage ne doit pas être traitée ainsi , elle fait aussi vivre ceux qui se disent restaurateurs .
Nous passerons au large la prochaine fois , de ce restaurant , pas du coquet village .
04/09/2024: Super soirée, je recommande, nous avons eu une serveuse magnifique, souriante, très efficace et je dirais même rigolote 🙂, il me semble qu’elle s’appelait Anna, bravo à elle et aux cuistots !

27/07/2024: Un lieu à ne pas rater, ce restaurant devrait être davantage connu. On y trouve des plats exquis et à des prix très raisonnables, où le cuisinier, Camilo, n'hésite pas à mélanger les textures et les couleurs, du grand art pour les yeux et un régal pour le ventre. Le service réalisé par Christelle et Christian est convivial et authentique, d'agréables moments sont à passer dans ce restaurant qui est pour nous le restaurant incontournable d'Hendaye !
23/07/2024: We ate very well in this restaurant. The plates were very well presented and appetizing.
As a starter, the hot hummus with runny egg and condiments was delicious, as was the tuna steak with shrimp sauce.
I recommend this restaurant.
