07/03/2026: This isn't our first time having lunch at La Bistoure as a family, but once again, bravo! The service is perfect, the young waiters are very pleasant, the food is delicious, and we were served very quickly. Highly recommended.

01/03/2026: So the service and welcome were a disaster, frankly it's lucky the food was good, you book a table and your reservation isn't there, you ask for salt twice and they bring you an empty salt shaker, you ask for bread and they take the bread baskets from the next table, no toilet paper, some dishes are missing from the menu and the wine is out of stock, so I won't be going back!

06/03/2026: I called the blonde waitress over to ask for the dessert menu, and she brushed me off, saying she was finishing up with her customers, even though it was the customers who had told her I was calling her. There are more respectful and friendly ways to be treated than by this waitress, whose dismissive and hurtful tone was truly offensive. Unfortunately, I won't be going back, even though the pizzas are very good. The waitress really needs some customer service training.

29/11/2024: The café is very pleasant, the staff welcoming, and the atmosphere friendly. However, it is really too hot inside, the heating is a bit excessive. With a better adjusted temperature, it would be perfect!

30/11/2025: This place is a disgrace! They make fun of the customers and their employees, especially the new ones. What is the world coming to?! They'll recognize themselves; they're the two oldest in the bakery. I'll never set foot in there again, nor will I give them my money, because they are truly haughty and disrespectful. Ugh! I confirm the other reviews that say the same thing. Where is the manager? Plus, their tarts are undercooked, especially the pastry. They don't taste very good... a real disgrace. And on top of that, these women are like radar guns, watching and peering everywhere. No need for security cameras, as if we were about to steal! The saleswoman serves you with her mouth full, and on top of that, she puts the chocolates on the shelves without gloves! That's completely unhygienic.

23/11/2025: This Sunday morning, I went to Villaret's for Sunday breakfast: croissants and brioche. It was 7:40 a.m. I walked through the shop; I was the only customer. The display wasn't yet set up. I was facing four saleswomen who didn't see fit to interrupt their conversation. Almost a minute passed before the youngest of them deigned to give me a half-hearted greeting. I asked for croissants and brioche. "With sugar or praline?" she asked. "Don't you have any large plain brioches?" I then inquired. The red-haired saleswoman then intervened, telling her colleague, "Wait for the large brioche, I have orders..." After two minutes, and after the saleswoman who was helping me found the right size bag for my two croissants, she asked her colleague again, I received a negative response regarding the purchase of the brioche, because there were orders... it was 7:45 a.m.! I've been a customer of this bakery for over fifty years, but this is the last straw. I left the croissants and went to Grasset in Les Halles. A well-stocked display, a smile, plain brioche. Villaret, you've definitely lost a customer.

15/01/2026: I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Vieux Castillon and I was completely captivated by the venue. The setting is absolutely magical: the architecture, the gardens, the view over the valley… everything lends itself perfectly to an elegant and timeless wedding. An exceptional place to celebrate a marriage.

24/03/2026: The eggplant starter was good. The floating islands dessert was very good. However, the mussels and fries were disappointing; 10 empty mussels, hard and dry.

04/03/2026: Hello, following our visit to this beautiful region, we enjoyed a delightful culinary escape at this traditional hotel-restaurant. The menu featured a lovely selection of fish, and the fisherman's stew was excellent. The bull stew was magnificent and flavorful. Thank you for the warm welcome and service; we will gladly return.

09/11/2025: Very disappointing. Very limited choices on the menu, especially the fish; the scallops had a small amount of burnt meat, and the burger had a dry, barely defrosted steak with no salt or pepper. They did offer a €2 discount!
