11/12/2025: It's unacceptable to order drinks without proper protection when other restaurants provide suitable containers. As a result, all the food got soaked. This isn't the first time this has happened, and it's not the delivery driver's fault, but your packaging.
You can clearly see the drink opened and spilled…
09/12/2025: The staff is beyond unpleasant. We asked for changes to our burgers, and they were unable to make them because they supposedly don't have the right. Your food arrived looking like it came straight from the freezer. They can't even tell the difference between a cheeseburger and a double cheeseburger. The staff needs to be re-evaluated because we were ready to punch them! It's shameful and pathetic.

A career change in another field would be advisable because the image of the restaurant industry is taking another hit

28/01/2026: Listen, I was sitting down, ready to eat my Big Mac, and then a seagull came and snatched it away. So I asked them to make it again, and the manager said, word for word, "That's not my problem." She added, "I can give you some ketchup if you want." So I completely lost it, went into the kitchen, and made myself a Big Mac like a big boy. Bye!
28/01/2026: Very disappointed with the manager who took it upon herself to communicate poorly with my friend and me; she even went so far as to douse us with hot oil and barbecue sauce.

The €26.90 ribeye steak, advertised as Angus, was inedible, full of gristle, and served rare on the thickest part, even though we ordered it medium-rare. The vegetables looked like they came straight from a can. No sauce was included; everything was extra.
We had to send the plates back because the dish was so disappointing. Instead, we ordered a poke bowl-style salad… but we were still charged full price for the ribeye. The owner offered no compensation whatsoever and even charged €3 for the small green salad that was supposed to accompany the dish.
A very disappointing experience; clearly one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to.
20/01/2026: I arrived today at 1:11 PM. Upon arrival, the waitress told me, in a rather unpleasant tone, that I should "hurry up because we close at 2 PM." Yet there were still nearly 50 minutes before closing time, and the restaurant was completely empty.
I'm a regular at this establishment, which makes this situation all the more disappointing. I wanted to introduce my friend to it, especially since the menu had really appealed to her. My lunch break starts at 1 PM, and if at 1:11 PM I'm made to feel like I'm inconveniencing them, I simply can't eat anywhere. Giving the impression of being rushed out like this is very unpleasant and completely ruins the experience. It's a shame, because customer service is an integral part of a restaurant.

03/02/2026: On Saturday, January 31st, I bought a King Cake (a king cake). I asked the saleswoman if it was fresh. She replied: YES!! Dessert arrived, and the guests were waiting impatiently... When I cut into it, I could tell it was stale. Everyone else noticed. When I tasted it, it was INEDIBLE!! A €20 cake, straight in the bin. What's more, I placed a large order with them that same day for a wedding anniversary!!! I canceled my order and went to another pastry shop. I'm hoping to find one in Grau du Roi... Also, you can't call to cancel an order; their phone number on the website is incorrect. So, I strongly advise against buying anything from this baker!!!! STAY AWAY. Just look at the REVIEWS. IT'S ALL TRUE. This bakery is terrible. I should have checked the REVIEWS beforehand. The pastry chef should take courses or retrain if she's truly a pastry chef. It's a disgrace!

21/09/2024: Mare that we are taken for imbeciles. This is the second time that I have been so disappointed by McDonald's. Takeaway meal, I don't have the dressing for the salad, no fork either! And what about the cafes? Sock juice! Obviously when you take out, there is little chance that you will come back to complain. I am disappointed and frustrated. Never again mc do.

05/11/2025: Absolutely not up to standard! €110 in November for an overnight stay in a dated room with freezing tiles, no heating in the bathroom where you're absolutely freezing, and what a bathroom it is (see photo). You have to wait 10 minutes for hot water with no pressure, and there's nothing to hold the shower head while you shower, plus an old shower curtain that sticks to you! No duvet cover. It's not even up to the standard of an Ibis Budget, and as for the food: terrible! A set menu, not good at all. Putting parsley everywhere to make it look pretty is pointless; it doesn't magically change the taste. We were freezing in the restaurant; I kept my coat on the whole meal. Coke was served in a glass hidden behind a counter: was it really Coke? And breakfast? What a treat! They bring one croissant per person, no more! Even an American wouldn't drink the coffee: it's just water! And apart from a small piece of bread and some yogurt, nothing else, that's all!
Oh, but where are we going with this? €110??? Stop treating people like idiots!
21/09/2025: Regarding the Esquielle restaurant,
Disappointing.
No choice of dishes.
112 euros for two for a salad and a stew with pasta
when we went to a restaurant to eat something other than the usual dishes.
Dessert: a cake with a scoop of ice cream.
As for the service, it's best not to mention it.
For a Saturday night, "Nobody" and the atmosphere was very cold!
Apart from the very pretty decor, nothing else!!!
We won't be going back and we don't recommend it to our friends!!!

On vous amène 2 dorades grillées au barbecue.... qui sont froides, idem pour le riz. Des brochettes de crevettes tièdes avec des frites froides... et une entrecôte à la place d'une pizza. Finalement la pizza arrive 1 minute après et quand on signale que les 3 plats sont froids (on les a depuis 2 minutes seulement), la gérante nous balance avec son chewing-gum en bouche (très élégant...) " je vous préviens, ce sera réchauffé au micro ondes" , en même temps on n'a pas trop le choix du coup.
Au lieu de s'excuser pour ce souci, c'est nous qui devons accepter l'incompétence du service.
Pour continuer la série, en plein repas, un serveur ramasse les pots de sauces individuelles dans demander si on en veut...
merveilleux !
Compte tenu de ces mésaventures successives, nous nous sommes abstenus de prendre un dessert.
Aucune ristourne bien sûr.
Donc Fuyez ! Nous aurions dû lire les avis google et trip advisor avant.😏
Et ne pas nous fier aux premiers sourires pour attirer les clients car après on vous fait comprendre que vos demandes (légitimes) les agacent.
03/11/2024: Poisson correct, moules marinière sans goût, frites sûrement congelées pas assez cuites, vin accroche . service tellement long on a évité dessert et café. Impression d un self à table: peu de sourire et d attention envers la clientèle. L établissement bénéfice du cadre de la place principale et d une belle progression cependant notre essai ne sera pas transformé
