29/06/2026: Traditional regional cuisine, made with local produce, served in generous portions. Simple and welcoming atmosphere and service. Short but interesting wine list. A minor drawback: the cheese, which lacked flavor (a shame given the abundance of high-quality cheeses in the region). The same goes for the bread. Free parking is available in front of the restaurant (but be aware that spaces are somewhat limited). A good place for a relaxed and enjoyable dinner at a reasonable price.

We tried several establishments in St. Lary, and our favorite remains, without a doubt, "Au Balcon". A welcome change from the tourist traps at the bottom of Lourdes. Thank you, Tontons, don't change a thing! Returned 7 years later, even better: an exceptional tiramisu for €3 after a chef's salad that was to die for. The icing on the cake: a complimentary small glass of liqueur at the end of the meal. The dishes were seasoned to perfection, and the side salad had the perfect flavor (rare, as most restaurants offer bland salads without dressing). 02/07/2026: They accepted a last-minute reservation for dinner at 8:12 PM for 8:30 PM – incredibly kind! The welcome was fantastic, the staff were top-notch, and the owner was delightful. As for the food, the plates were beautifully presented, decorated with vegetables and flowers. The cuisine was generous and excellent! I recommend it 100%! As always, a mountain inn that doesn't disappoint. Thank you!

The dishes are homemade with love and are served quickly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Whether with a large group or just the two of you, you'll create wonderful memories and meet new people.
