02/04/2026: A wonderful evening at this little restaurant in Saint-Larry-la-Grange. Simple, generous, and well-prepared cuisine—exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Special mention to the waiter: attentive, smiling, and present without being intrusive. A welcome like this is rarely seen, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

We tried several establishments in St. Lary, and our favorite remains, without a doubt, "Au Balcon". 18/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Galette d’Or! We were served quickly. The dining room seats about 20, and up to 40 in the summer with the outdoor seating, so it's best to book in advance during peak season. We received a very warm welcome from an extremely pleasant, friendly, and humorous gentleman, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also greatly appreciated the involvement of the owner and his wife, who particularly enjoys making homemade crêpe batter, which adds a real touch of authenticity. The savory galettes are thin, with a truly delicious homemade batter, and generously filled with high-quality ingredients sourced from local producers. The batter, for both the savory and sweet crêpes, is homemade, and you can taste the difference! The sweet crêpes are just as good: the homemade chocolate is excellent, and the salted caramel is simply divine. Special mention goes to the homemade vanilla ice cream, which is also excellent, and you can taste it from the first bite! The prices are very reasonable considering the quality offered. In addition to the delicious food, we learned a lot about the origins of the products, which made the experience even more enriching. A place I highly recommend!

01/04/2026: A little gem in Argelès Gazost. They have a set menu for €40 (starter, main course, and dessert), and everything is delicious. They also offer a small complimentary appetizer. The waitress is lovely. Upon arrival, she offered us a very tasty homemade cocktail (€12), and then we ordered wine by the glass (€6). It's well worth spending some time at this restaurant.

12/04/2026: We were craving raclette. There were three of us. We were happy to be there, arriving promptly at 7:00 PM, and received a warm welcome. We chatted with the waiter. The presentation of the meal was nice. We'd been hiking all day and were hungry. We asked for an extra portion for two of us (which meant the cost of two additional courses) and a dessert (a runny panna cotta). We were told there was no problem as long as we left before 9:00 PM, because there was a second seating! And that's where we were disappointed. We understand there's a second seating, but to be told we had to leave quickly... We didn't find that very professional. In fact, we got the impression that the staff was suddenly less friendly. In short: We ate well (it's still raclette, but the ingredients were good quality). The atmosphere was pleasant during the first hour. But we didn't understand this attitude, especially since we spent over €150 between the three of us. 🤷

13/05/2026: I highly recommend this Asian restaurant where the food is excellent, the pho soup is superb, and everything else is great too. The staff is very welcoming. They serve only traditional dishes. If you're in Bagnères-de-Bigorre, don't hesitate to stop by.

Absolutely nothing to complain about, everything is perfect: very fresh, very tasty, very generous portions, and the service is fantastic—they're lovely! It's become our go-to restaurant... never disappointed
