26/07/2026: Last night we had dinner at this restaurant and were thoroughly impressed. The menu features fresh, homemade products. The portions are generous and the dishes are delicious. The duck breast with foie gras was a real treat for me! We will gladly return.

23/09/2026: A wonderful discovery in Tarbes! I had the opportunity to have lunch at L’Ardoaz for a business meeting and I had a fantastic time. The food is entirely homemade, the menu is carefully curated, and the daily specials are very tempting. The staff is dynamic, professional, friendly, and attentive. A pleasant setting, a lovely atmosphere, and quality cuisine: everything was perfect for a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

02/08/2026: I've stayed at several seasonal hotels by motorbike, and this one is definitely one of my favorites, both for its location and the condition of the hotel. The room is quite large, and the beds are comfortable (at least in our case). I'd like to thank the receptionist for speaking to us in Spanish and also for the excellent service we received at breakfast.

22/08/2026: We stopped by Cacaril in Saint-Lary for an afternoon treat, and what a wonderful discovery! 🥰 A warm and inviting place, perfect for a delicious break. The treats were delicious, a real delight for the taste buds, and the service was very friendly and welcoming. ☕🍰 A lovely family moment in a friendly atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

05/05/2026: A well-located hotel for a stopover or short stay in the Pyrenees. Simple rooms but comfortable beds. Generous, home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Very warm welcome; a place we recommend.

14/04/2026: Dinner and breakfast were great. Our room was on the 3rd floor, but there was no handrail. The second bed was very cramped.

06/09/2026: We were lucky enough to discover this café-theater (about 50 seats), and also two artists, Soso La Barbe and Nawal, and we absolutely loved their performances. Two different styles, lots of energy, humor, and above all, a wonderful atmosphere. A truly enjoyable evening full of good cheer! 21/08/2026: It didn't reflect the photos. Sadly nothing was open and the owners left the auberge locked up. This is a mixed review. The rooms are beautiful, the bed was a super king. But everything was locked up and we had no access to the bar, the games room or the garden. When we checked in the owner told us to always keep the front door locked as the guest house is very large. We went up to our room but when we returned downstairs to explore the lounge and billiard room we found everything to be locked and the owner gone. I decided to explore the outside but there was a huge oak barrel blocking access to the decked patio so we weren't sure if we could go there. I decided to take a look. It was quite neglected and not like the photos. When I turned back I found a huge St Bernard dog blocking my way and growling at me. I'm not the best with dogs and so I had to turn my back so he would lose interest in me which he did for a while. I called my husband to try and distract the dog so I could escape past the barrel. It took me quite a few minutes and I thought I was a gonner but he turned to hubby and I sneaked out. Later I had to make friends with same giant growly dog when we went to our car by feeding him some paté from out of our car boot. He liked the paté and I think we made friends. However, I find it a bit worrying that the owners would leave a giant and possibly dangerous dog unattended and allowed to free roam around the auberge. Well, after that there was no chance we would try to enjoy the beautiful garden for fear of Mr growly attacking us. And so we were stuck in our hotel room. We tried to go for a walk but there wasnt much to see. As the restaurant was closed we went for food. At 7.30, it was a Tuesday and nowhere was open! Trudging around town we eventually found a pizza takeaway but it had just closed! We did manage to use it's self serve machine so we didn't starve. All in a a very disappointing stay, if only the bar and games room was open we would have had a lovely time.

27/08/2026: Takeout delivery. The sushi is still just as good. However, the restaurant no longer handles deliveries itself, and as a result, delivery is more expensive than before. Furthermore, delivery orders must now be placed on the website; phone orders are no longer accepted. As a result, I've lost the 10% discount I used to get through my employee benefits program, which usually reimbursed me at least for delivery. What a shame.

27/08/2026: Tarbes' sushi plan! Original and classic maki and sushi for all tastes. I'm never disappointed and it's become my favorite sushi restaurant in France :)

26/08/2026: It's an iconic spot in the valley. We've been going there every year for over 20 years, and the garbure (cabbage and bean soup) is always exceptional 😋, and the owners are wonderful. Can't wait for next year!
