11/12/2025: We stumbled upon this place for lunch. The lasagna was good, but the tartiflette needed more Reblochon cheese. The service was adequate. Magnificent view of the slopes. You're paying for the view, too. €21 and €22 respectively. It's still a very good stop for skiers.

08/12/2025: The good old days… A few seasons ago, this restaurant was one of the best in Peyragudes, with affordable prices and consistently high-quality food. Unfortunately, that has changed. Prices are going up, and portion sizes are going down, along with the quality. See for yourself: the two photos accompanying this review show the same chicken burger in 2024-2025 and the following season. Before, the fries were delicious, homemade, and perfectly cooked. Now, we're served frozen fries, lacking any real ambition… What a shame. However, it's worth noting that the salads on offer look promising, and the portions seem generous. In short, a noticeable drop in quality, but a restaurant that still has potential.

27/09/2025: Home-style cooking, good but no frills. On the other hand, the waitresses were not very respectful of the order of arrival; three couples arrived after each other and were served until coffee, when our main course plates had been empty for over half an hour.

02/09/2024: On vacation with my partner, we spotted this restaurant several evenings. (our accommodation being right next door), Seeing that the "staff" were absolutely not...sober. Every evening we traced our path to go elsewhere, I do not recommend at all!!!!!

08/09/2025: Awful buffet: nothing is homemade, everything is processed and of poor quality. There are so few customers that some products are out of date (the blueberry pie is downright moldy, and they dare to leave it on the buffet). I have photos available for anyone who wants them (and possibly the DCCRF!) They don't even know how to make kir, filling the small one with ice cubes to put even less in. No professionalism, no respect for the customer. We understood, unfortunately a little late, why we were the only customers on a Saturday lunchtime when the weather was very nice.

24/08/2024: We didn't eat or sleep in this hostel but we stopped by to buy a bottle of water. Not selling any, the manager gave us a free 1.5L bottle of mineral water, nice!

22/09/2025: Very friendly welcome, simple but pleasant setting. A true restaurateur who loves his job, and it shows. Simple but excellent meal, with well-prepared ingredients and beautiful presentation. Simple but pleasant wine list. Very reasonable bill. All in all, a good place for a very pleasant meal, and a real treat.

12/12/2025: As I was wanted a quick bite to eat in Lourdes (Café Royal) was jam packed! So, I decided to get a quick bite and I ordered the calamari. The calamari wasn’t anything special it was frozen. Most European restaurants french fries are served with every meal. If you think about it french fries are a quick and cheap option. My family member ordered the bone in pork-chops and they said they were mediocre. As for this establishment, I got a quick bite to eat and the staff were very friendly compared to most places in France. (P.S. 21/10/2025: So what can I say? Well, when we arrived, no one greeted us, we had to find a table. Then the waiter came and threw our menus at us. It's UNACCEPTABLE. There was no smile, not at all pleasant, which I find regrettable because we ate well. The restaurant is very well located across from the sanctuary. What needs to change is the behavior of some of the waiters. They should be more welcoming and smiling, making us want to come back. Too bad!

18/01/2026: The offers didn't work, and the employee didn't care at all. We had to pay €10 more for the same thing.

12/06/2025: Smell of damp and mold in the corridors n-1 just awful, moldy shower seal and very uncomfortable spring bedding abandoned hotel it's good to make money with the casino but we will have to review the hotel very quickly

16/09/2024: Great service, and the service was exceptional too. We appreciate the fact that, we didn't have to wait too long for our order to arrive. The kothu chicken curry and chicken fried rice was tasty and the portion sizes are very generous. We went there with a child and the owner very kindly offered him a free rose milk drink. The owner was very friendly and his hospitality moved us. Please do try for authentic Sri Lankan food
