28/10/2025: Lunch on the terrace this October 28th. I thoroughly enjoyed two fillets of Pyrenees trout served with fluffy rice and small vegetables. Thank you to the chef!

03/10/2025: We wanted to have an aperitif there in the evening. The restaurant was supposedly full despite the empty tables. I can understand, but we had a drink and ate pizza across the street and an hour later, the tables were still empty!

17/01/2026: This was my third visit, and incidentally, my last. I ordered a calzone and was unpleasantly surprised to find my egg undercooked (not quite cooked, not cooked at all), but oh well, these things happen, I won't hold it against you. However, the staff's blatant disingenuousness, with their constant "yes, it's always like that" when I pointed out: Firstly, it's not the first time I've ordered a calzone (in my life, and certainly not at your establishment), and it's the first time it's happened to this extent. Secondly, would you eat your child's mucus when they have a cold? I think we can agree on that. So, talking to me as if I were asking for the impossible is unacceptable. There are some things in life that annoy me more than others, and bad faith is one of them. If you had simply said "Oh, sorry," I would have moved on immediately, but a "So what?" "When I politely point it out to you... oh dear... I could have overlooked the frosty atmosphere you create (which I also could have chosen not to mention, but you're forcing me to; I'm excluding the young waiter, who is the complete opposite of what I'm saying, hence my two stars for service). You wanted to be there as much as I did, so at least we have that in common. The lack of professionalism, the sloppiness—if I want those two things, I'll just make a hamburger and pasta at home; I'll be much happier. For those who don't know this establishment, I obviously don't recommend it. For those who have already been, don't go back. And for those who like it, what do you do? I know that after reading this review, you'll want to reply, showing me your kindness and understanding once again. Don't worry, I couldn't care less." (I was wearing a green-necked sweater at a round table, in case we ever cross paths)

17/02/2026: Customers for 40 years, we are light years away from the early days: Regarding the royal couscous: Only one skewer instead of two, filled with four tiny pieces of meat instead of the five or six large ones we used to have. Semolina is served in an open dish, not a closed tagine that retains heat. Vegetable couscous is served alongside the royal couscous, which is meant to be shared, but the entire portion is for one person, not two. The dining room is very cold, portable heaters (gas cylinders) are prohibited, and the overall heating is woefully inadequate. General cleanliness leaves much to be desired.

09/12/2025: A nice little restaurant... Honest food for the price, unpretentious, simple but good. Not all ingredients are fresh, which is a bit of a shame, but for the price, it's understandable… (although homemade fries and mayonnaise aren't much more expensive than frozen ones…). The service and welcome were impeccable and very warm. The dining room decor could perhaps use a little more warmth, although the fireplace was lit, which is a real plus, but it's really a minor detail. Hygiene was impeccable. And as a bonus, it was open on a Sunday (which is becoming rare!). If you're looking for a good little bistro, simple and affordable, this is the place.

19/11/2025: Today's menu was excellent: Piedmontese soup, veal stew, chicken, and walnut cake (all homemade) for €14.90 👍👍👍

10/11/2025: Very disappointed with this restaurant. The wait was incredibly long: we arrived around 12:30 pm and were only served one course at 1:45 pm. And even then, we were the first on the terrace to get our food; other customers who arrived before or at the same time as us still hadn't received anything after an hour and a half. Items listed on the menu weren't available (Camembert). We chose the trout, which was a huge disappointment because the menu stated "whole trout" for €22.50, but we were served a small fillet (see photo). The draft beer was lukewarm because it was served too late. The waiter, clearly overwhelmed, forgot orders and didn't give us cutlery. The only positive point was that the lamb chops were very good, but they were served with overcooked fries.

10/11/2025: We waited two hours just for drinks... we left before we'd even eaten. Avoid at all costs!

21/01/2026: Everyone should come to this restaurant. Everything is homemade. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the set menus (starter, main course, dessert) for €19 are incredibly affordable—unbeatable compared to other sit-down restaurants. We highly recommend it. Go for it!

28/09/2025: We had just come from an 8-hour motorcycle trip and arrived at the restaurant shortly before 9 p.m. Despite closing at 10 p.m., they wouldn't let us in because they said the kitchen was already closed. We asked them for something cold to eat, and they said no. It was clear that they didn't want foreigners... clearly.
