28/02/2026: The owner's welcome was unpleasant; okay, it's busy, but that's unacceptable. And the hygiene of the women's toilets was scandalous: dust on the toilet brush and bin, and the tiles weren't clean. It's a real shame, but for a public place, it's unacceptable.

16/02/2026: We went there as a couple. Excellent welcome, impeccable service, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate very well; high-quality food and superb presentation. We go there every year when we come to St. Lary. Highly recommended.

16/02/2026: I'm not usually one for reviews, but this... The staff is not customer-oriented. Not even a greeting upon entering, despite a steady stream of customers. My 14-year-old daughter paid for two pizzas that were supposed to arrive in 15 minutes. After an hour, nothing arrived, even though she was waiting by the entrance. My daughter asked, and the person told her there was no order under her name. My daughter had to justify herself by showing the credit card receipt at her request because they didn't believe her. In the end, I went there myself. I didn't receive a greeting either, nor an apology, or any of the basic courtesy one would expect from a restaurant owner in the heart of Saint-Lary. Making a mistake happens, but there's a minimum level of responsibility to be shown. Instead, I received a very sarcastic "goodbye" and "have a good evening," which is unacceptable.

13/11/2025: Café le Genève is a traditional brasserie-bistro with a friendly atmosphere, located in a very touristy area. We enjoyed an excellent duck breast with pepper sauce and crispy fries. The prices are more than reasonable, truly affordable. I highly recommend this restaurant!

23/10/2025: Choice of several dishes, very friendly staff. As for the food, the meat was delicious but the portion was too small!!!!!! Potatoes were bland and cold... a shame

16/02/2026: Positive points: Fairly friendly staff Very good products (especially the mashed potato cookies) Negative points: The prices, perhaps a little high in my opinion. Sometimes the amount of coffee isn't quite right compared to the size of the cup. Otherwise, a very good place. I like going there because I know I'll get a good meal, so it's a pleasure. Keep it up! Just a better quality/price ratio, for example, pastries with better flavor or slightly lower prices, would be perfect.

02/02/2026: The pastries and breads are really good however, they lean on the pricey side. I have to rate the service 3-star because the staff seems to have no grasp on basic English words. It was so hard to place our order, considering Tarbes is a tourist destination, especially for non-French speaking pilgrims en route to Lourdes. The cafe has limited dining tables and chairs located on a busy sidewalk so keep an eye on your personal belongings.

30/01/2026: Excellent Asian caterer where everything is homemade, and the takeaway portions are very generous. Good value for money. And the service is always extremely friendly!

19/02/2026: The food was very unhelpful, the pizza was very thin for the price, and the service was unpleasant and unfriendly. The atmosphere was nonchalant; when I asked for information, I was practically brushed off with very unpleasant remarks. In short, I do not recommend it at all!

21/12/2025: We came to eat as a group of eight without a reservation and were warmly welcomed by the mother. The whole team is incredibly attentive; they are kind, caring, and genuinely nice people who also take excellent care of the owner. The food is simple but very well prepared and the portions are very generous. I highly recommend it!

21/02/2026: The last time I came was two years ago. The sushi was good overall, but some pieces had a strange taste. That same night, I had severe stomach pains, resulting in food poisoning. I decided to give this restaurant a second chance—wow, I never should have! I ordered two takeaway platters for €50. When I got home and started eating, I noticed something was wrong: the fried chicken (which was already pointless) had a weird crunch. I looked at it more closely, and sure enough, the fried chicken was RAW ALL OVER. Seriously, guys, you don't have to be a complete idiot to actually look at live sushi before sending an order. It's all well and good to use frozen chicken, but just so you know, you have to cook it a little longer. I'm not going to tell you how to do your job. The result of all this was a terrible stomach ache that kept me in bed all day. Good job, guys.

16/02/2026: Positive points: Very friendly and pleasant staff. Really good food, which is a nice touch. Negative points: The prices. Despite the food being good, I think I paid a lot for just two poke bowls to go... Also, the portion size. I expected more, which is a shame. Perhaps it's different if you eat in? I hope so. It's still a good place overall.

26/10/2025: Good food, fast service, not expensive (we ate for €30 for 2 people), and a nice atmosphere. There was a waiter who understood a little Spanish and was very attentive to us. Great place.

12/03/2026: Warm and friendly welcome. Excellent food. Visited twice in the same week during the February school holidays. We will definitely be back next year.

09/03/2026: Fantastic team both in the dining room and the kitchen, great atmosphere, special mention for the excellent duck hearts and homemade desserts... I highly recommend it!!!
