03/03/2026: I stumbled in and left delighted! The daily special and dessert were reasonably priced (€17), and the service was friendly and quick.
The welcome and service were excellent!
01/03/2026: The meat, chicken and duck, is free-range and very flavorful, cooked to perfection. The fries are crispy and delicious. And the desserts are, of course, homemade: one rich in chocolate and the other topped with wonderfully creamy whipped cream. Our hostess was very knowledgeable about the different dishes and was able to explain and advise us with a smile. You can also chat comfortably, even though the dining room is small.

15/02/2026: One evening, we made a reservation at L’Authentique, a restaurant I highly recommend. The food is excellent, especially the very tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat served with forest-style potatoes. The portions are very generous, and the desserts are delicious.
The staff is very friendly and all gentlemen, which I think is a great touch.
We will definitely be back.

A family-run mountain hotel with quality amenities: a buffet breakfast with a wide variety of sweet and savory options and local products, and a welcoming and immaculate spa area—a real treat after a day of sports. Very good value for money and location, just five minutes from the Barages ski resort.

24/02/2026: Once again, a flawless experience for this hotel and all its staff! We come here very regularly as a family (grandparents, children, and grandchildren), and for us, it's the best option in the entire region: a charming hotel with all-wood decor, very well maintained, with many thoughtful touches both in and out of the room, and a fantastic team: special mention to Ambre, Matthias, and all the staff (including the wonderful housekeepers). We can't wait to come back!
17/02/2026: It's a wonderful hotel in Cauterets. It's fantastic, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and the owners, Amber, provided exquisite service. They made us feel right at home, attending to every detail to ensure a pleasant stay. Even while we were there, she facilitated the cancellation of one day without any additional charge due to the weather conditions. A 10 out of 10. Monica

08/03/2026: For over 15 years we've been coming to Le Relais de Piau, winter and summer alike, and it's always fantastic! The food is consistently delicious, with a special mention for the royal garbure, of course 😋, and the owners are genuinely wonderful! After the terrible storms that hit the restaurant, you bravely bounced back and reopened – well done! And congratulations on the new decor, 10/10 😉. 24/09/2025: This family restaurant, run by the father and son, is a culinary gem. A unique dish is offered every day, with a different starter, main course, dessert, and a glass of wine for 17.50. The dishes are lovingly prepared using quality ingredients. Everything is fresh and generous. The dishes remind us of those our grandmothers cooked on the stove. I highly recommend them. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. My favorite in Tarbes if you really want to eat well, quickly, and deliciously! 🎉
