05/01/2026: This is a place that clearly deserves to be much better known. We arrived at the very end of service, around 2:30 pm, and were nonetheless greeted with great kindness and were able to have lunch there, which was already a very nice touch. The cuisine is refined, generous, and full of flavor, showcasing perfectly prepared fresh, local ingredients. The recipes are original and expertly executed, with a special mention for the delicious burger buns. A place somewhat hidden away, but well worth the detour. A truly wonderful discovery, where you can feel the passion for food and local produce. We will definitely be back.

06/02/2026: I went there about four years ago... I won't be going back... I was sicker than ever, vomiting, etc. Afterwards, I had a strange feeling while eating; I should have stopped and followed my gut feeling, which wasn't great... for me, it's the meat that isn't fresh and is poor quality... and I didn't overdo it with the portions like you often do at all-you-can-eat buffets, and I didn't mix anything weird, just samosas as a starter, then couscous, merguez sausage, chicken meatballs with a little broth... it's incomprehensible to do that in the kitchen. It's a shame because the staff are super nice and welcoming, and the decor is decent and fits the theme.

17/10/2025: A great place. €17 for the daily menu, starter, main course, dessert, coffee, and wine. Choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses, and desserts. Personally, I had calf's head with gribiche sauce for the starter, and guinea fowl with mushroom sauce with bacon-wrapped potatoes and crème catalane for dessert, and it was very good and filling. And to nitpick a little, the crème catalane could have been creamier; it was more like a flan than a cream, but it was still good. Congratulations, ladies, it was very good. Keep it up!

The set menu concept, inspired by Italian and Sicilian traditions, is a real success: each dish reveals authentic and generous flavors, as if you were sharing a family meal in Italy 🇮🇹. The chef, passionate and very welcoming, takes care of every detail and happily shares his love for cooking. 03/03/2026: I stumbled in and left delighted! The daily special and dessert were reasonably priced (€17), and the service was friendly and quick. The welcome and service were excellent!

01/03/2026: The meat, chicken and duck, is free-range and very flavorful, cooked to perfection. The fries are crispy and delicious. And the desserts are, of course, homemade: one rich in chocolate and the other topped with wonderfully creamy whipped cream. Our hostess was very knowledgeable about the different dishes and was able to explain and advise us with a smile. You can also chat comfortably, even though the dining room is small.

28/12/2025: We came for sandwiches, but since they're closing permanently in three days, the manager offered us a delicious garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew) to grab on the go. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We followed it up with a fantastic cheese platter. Thank you for the warm welcome and efficient service. This superb restaurant will be sorely missed at the summit of this legendary mountain pass. All the best for the future!

20/01/2026: The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are large. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good. The spa is very spacious. The only slight drawback is that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. I recommend you come and stay at this hotel, which is located less than 2 minutes from hiking trails. The hotel is very well situated in Barèges.
