05/08/2026: Had dinner here with my family and it was great. The service was amazing, the waiters took great care of us. We had 3 appetizers to share and each took a set of 3 tacos which was enough. I would recommend the special tio tacos and the Agua de Jamaica for the drink. Thank you Tio!
Ask for the table in the back for a an even better experience 😉

29/07/2026: The dinner we had was truly excellent. I personally enjoyed the succulent sweetbreads, and the other guests all thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. The fresh, high-quality ingredients were cooked to perfection. The welcome was very pleasant, and the dining room was charming. In this heatwave, it was so nice to eat in a cool place. Thank you again, and we will definitely be back.
22/07/2026: We had lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered à la carte, but the restaurant also offers a very appealing set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €23 at lunchtime. The ravioli was delicious. The service was excellent as well.

21/07/2026: A truly authentic place, it's like stepping back in time. This inn has been in the same family for four generations. At lunchtime today, the 95-year-old grandmother was still washing up. The menu was enormous, everything homemade. In short, we loved it.

10/07/2026: For over 15 years we've been coming to Le Relais de Piau, winter and summer alike, and it's always fantastic! The food is consistently delicious, with a special mention for the royal garbure, of course 😋, and the owners are genuinely wonderful! After the terrible storms that hit the restaurant, you bravely bounced back and reopened – well done! And congratulations on the new decor, 10/10 😉. As you can see, we never miss an opportunity to come and see you! See you very soon!

29/07/2026: Just a stone's throw from the highway, this restaurant is a gem: simple cuisine, hearty and flavorful dishes, fresh and local ingredients, incredibly friendly service, and reasonable prices.
It's definitely worth the detour; we highly recommend this place!
04/07/2026: A very bad experience. A 10-minute delay prompted a bitter remark from the owner upon our arrival. She told us we were greatly disrupting the next service. However, there was no other service available.

22/07/2026: The service was good both on the phone and in person. Unfortunately, one of the pizzas wasn't right, so I had to go back, and the owners didn't offer any compensation... I was a bit disappointed; I expected a small gesture of goodwill for having made the trip.
22/07/2026: Dry pizzas with little flavor. Service isn't great either; when you supposedly can only pay cash, the whole village searches for a (working) ATM without success, and then suddenly you can pay by card... weird.

30/07/2026: Hearty and expertly prepared dishes. The rare ribeye was cooked to perfection, as was the duck breast. The meats were incredibly tender, and the side dishes were excellent.
Large and generously portioned plates. We came based on the reviews, and we have no regrets!
