04/03/2026: A wonderful rediscovery of Le Tire Bouchon in Montpellier. Since the change of ownership, the place is completely transformed. We ordered a burger and the daily special: both were excellent. The service was quick and very friendly. All this in an ideal setting, on an iconic Montpellier square, particularly pleasant in the sunshine. A highly recommended spot.

29/01/2026: They bring me a missile instead of a kebab, and on top of that, it costs €20, plus the customers are pushing me.

01/03/2026: I ordered some fries, and when they didn't give them to me, I went to ask what had happened. They spoke to me very rudely and made me pay for fries I hadn't even eaten so I could get some. The whole thing was very unpleasant. In short, they made me pay for two fries, and I only got one. The response is an example of how they treated and spoke to me. I hadn't been drinking; the woman who served me might have, judging by how aggressively she treated me.

01/03/2026: I ordered a kebab with certain ingredients, but they didn't include them and instead added tomato, which is exactly what I didn't want. The service was terrible; they even overcharged us for potatoes that they themselves had lost.

15/02/2026: We had a lovely time. The room was clean 👌 I would have preferred a shower rather than a bathtub, but the bathroom was fine and functional. The staff were very pleasant, smiling, and attentive. The breakfast was perfect, a little pricey, but that's not a problem. The restaurant is superb, decorated with great taste. An experience my husband and I would definitely repeat. Thank you.

08/02/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and restaurant during our 3-night business trip. All the staff and the owner were incredibly friendly. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and of high quality. And our dinners in the beautifully decorated and lit restaurant were perfect! We loved the white linen tablecloths! Thank you for sparing us the heavy rain this morning by driving us to the tram stop.

01/11/2025: We stumbled upon this place on October 31st, just on a whim. It's really great! The atmosphere is perfect! Absolutely fantastic! We'll be back!

11/07/2025: Dishes worthy of a canteen.... served cold.... taste of pre-prepared frozen industrial dishes... |deplorable service with a waiter who clearly doesn't want to work and who doesn't wash his hands after his cigarette break and after scratching his back... icy atmosphere.... and at the end, we aren't even asked if it went well... I strongly advise against it

07/06/2025: Great brasserie with a very pleasant terrace, surrounded by plants and an artificial fountain. The server is efficient. Note that today's dishes were vegetarian. I don't know if that's the norm.

12/02/2026: Either I give a good review or nothing at all! But I can't do otherwise! Disgusting... it's not appropriate... It has no taste! All-you-can-eat buffet, you shouldn't expect haute cuisine, okay, but this is the height of absurdity!! The dishes have been there for several days, the steam is supposed to melt in your mouth (even without flavor), I could have knocked my sons out with them, they were so hard! And that's just one example... one of my sons, who is absolutely not fussy, spat out several times what he put in his mouth!! This was an exceptional outing for a single mom with her boys. Beyond the fact that it was tasteless, we could have turned it into a good time, but no! Put in a cold and gloomy corner, I had to find a nicer, brighter area with music, which wasn't available because they were too busy, according to them... When I got to the register, they didn't even ask me if everything was alright?! I made a comment, and then I was asked for my answer; it wasn't good! The response was simply, "Sorry!" So don't come replying that you're sorry you weren't satisfied, blah blah blah... because I tried to communicate with you! You could have taken my comments into consideration at the time, but it had no effect on you! Avoid this place! 80 euros down the drain! Go to Grillad'oc on Rue Verdun or China Wok in Pérols instead.

10/02/2026: Always a treat, a very pleasant restaurant, beautiful decor, and excellent food. The staff always clears the plates very quickly!!! Which isn't the case in all all-you-can-eat restaurants 😅 I highly recommend it

10/07/2025: The room is quite small with a view of the campsite. The floor in the room is sticky and there is fungus in the shower. The only good thing is the location, which is very close to the sea.

09/02/2026: Gaston's pizzas aren't for everyone, of course, as they have a distinctive taste. If you want a strong wood-fired flavor, sometimes even charred, and something nice and greasy with plenty of toppings, Gaston's is the place to go. If you prefer a neutral or even bland taste... a pizza from a big chain or supermarket will do just fine. And besides, Gaston's are the cheapest around. A real treat and guaranteed to fill you up! :)

08/02/2026: I don't understand the negative reviews. Having eaten pizzas costing between €18 and €20 in Montpellier, and having eaten one from Gaston's priced at €11, honestly I prefer Gaston's because at least I'm satisfied.

30/11/2025: We made a reservation on TheFork with a 50% discount, but upon arrival, we received a cold welcome. The waitress said she didn't have the codes for TheFork and that she didn't have our reservation. (The restaurant was empty.) I showed her the confirmation email, but they told me they wouldn't honor the discount after all. We didn't stay.

27/11/2025: This place shouldn't even be called a restaurant! Everything was frozen, undercooked, and poorly presented. The seafood platter consisted of four whelks and five shrimp straight from the freezer bag, and the mixed fish, also frozen, was either completely dry or raw, like the salmon, without salt or oil! The menu was incomplete, with no red wine, and to top it all off, they told us they don't accept credit cards, so we had to rush to the bank to withdraw cash. We had a rough night, with stomach pain and frequent trips to the bathroom. The French consumer protection agency (DGCCRF) should pay them a visit. In short, don't go there!

20/12/2025: A brief, non-culinary note to sincerely and warmly thank the entire team at Le Pavillon for their support and assistance this past Wednesday, December 17th, at the end of my lunch break. I am truly sorry for having contributed to the disruption at the end of your service and for having to take my leave in such an unusual way. I'm feeling much better now, which leads me to confirm that we will see each other again soon!

27/10/2025: A real treat! The mussels were fresh, well-cooked, and the sauce delicious! The portions are generous, the fries homemade... and the service impeccable: smiles, speed, and attention to detail. I recommend it!!!

05/12/2025: What a disaster! This restaurant is still open, which I find inexplicable! We've been at the bar for 15 minutes, and the staff walk right past us without saying a word!

28/02/2026: We had a wonderful time; everything was perfect until dessert, which was a huge disappointment. The advertised molten chocolate cake was actually incredibly dry and far too overcooked. When we ordered, we had requested a different dessert for an extra charge, which was categorically refused, especially since we were there for my birthday and had mentioned it upon arrival. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering there were only 10 other customers having lunch. It's such a shame!

22/02/2026: The service was too slow. We waited 45 minutes between the appetizer and the main course. The fish stew was tasteless. The sea bass fillet was overcooked. The waiters were completely inattentive (if anything at all). However, the location was great. Overall, a very average restaurant.
